Mavis discount tires always gets my back. No matter if its a simple oil change or something more intensive like brakes or something mechanical. They get me back up and running quick. I only live a few blocks from here and its my go to shop. I have brought various cars here and never had a single compliant. Pricing is good and most of the time they can find a coupon for me to save me a few bucks. Amazing crew and always friendly.

I went to Mavis in Somers Point because the tire stem on one of my tires broke. It was late in the afternoon and seemed quite busy. Every bay had a car in it and the store was closing in a couple of hours. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get the tire fixed but when I approached one of the mechanics (whose name I unfortunately did not get) he was friendly and professional and assured me they would take care of it before they closed. I went home for a little while and received a phone call a short time later quoting me a fair price. The car was ready a half hour later! Morgan at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly as well. She explained everything clearly and made me feel like a valued customer. Glad I tried Mavis and will definitely use them again if the situation arises.

Contacted Dylan from the Marmora location for rear brakes and rotors. Dylan scheduled an appointment and explained everything to me. The price was good and the service was excellent. The reason I came back to Mavis was the fact that Dylan made me feel comfortable with the purchase of my 4 tires and the service he provided were second to none. Thank you again Dylan.

Dead battery upon pick up. They broke a wheel stud removing wheel and told me after i paid. Sent me home with one less wheel lug nut. They refused to fix it because they didnt have the tools. Regional manager asked me to get it checked at another mavis almost 40 minutes away. A drill was missing from my trunk tool bag. Still looking for it at home before i come to the understanding that they may have stolen it.spoke to two regional manager. Problem still sits. Regional Manager Sean Mercado is inexperienced at a customer service role and failed to provide surveillance footage. A police report was filed. Once the BBB was involved Sean called me back and said he will not deal with me any longer. Sean is an example of bad management picking in your company.

I was on my way to work and saw I had a nail in my tire causing a leak. I pulled right up to the shop and without hesitation Jose took me right in. These guys are professional and courteous. Ill be coming here for future maintenance. Oh and theyre military friendly

I found a large screw in my tire, called Mavis and was told to come right over. My car was finished in a few hours. Great service and employees are so polite and friendly. Will continue using Mavis for any tire needs.

I got 4 new tires Im March fantastic when I first got them I had my car 2yrs no problems.A weeklater we hear a popping sound when I make a right turn..minor at first .Then it started get louder and louder.Me and my wife were driving one morninh stopped at a sign made a right turn and pop!something snapped on the front drivers side..thats where at now.Just watch who does work on your car..This is the first time anything went wrong with our car smh!!

Meant to post this awhile ago but just got around to it! I bought 4 tires back in December for my Subaru, we preordered them and the appointment was a couple weeks later. There was an issue with inventory and the tires we ordered weren’t actually there instead of waiting for them to come in they upgraded my tires to nicer ones free of extra charge! Great service and a job well done!

Had a great experience getting a leaking tire fixed and wipers replaced. Got me in at the end of the day and worked so fast. Extremely courteous and clear employees. Very reasonable and clear pricing. Would defintely recommend.

Came in for $100 alignment. Left with clunking and no alignment report. I had to use the vehicle for my family and I noticed the noise. Jacked up the car and realized the driver side wheel was loose so I took off the tire and noticed the alignment bolts on the driver side was loose. I had to tighten them. Then as a bonus the top bolt was damaged (splines broken off). Now I need another alignment from anywhere else. Very puppy mill feel.

These guys saved me on a Saturday morning when time is money for me. I called, they said bring the car right over, sent me an email confirmation which made it easy to reference when getting there. I called the telephone number that I found online and was quoted one price. When I went to the local Mavis I was given a much higher price. Even after talking to the manager about the price quoted to me by the person I spoke too the manager said he didnt know how they got the much cheaper price. I asked if they could call the person that gave me the lower price and the manager said he could not call. The manager didnt have a real answer for me.

They took a long time to complete the job.

THEY TRIED TO GET IN MY CAR WITHOUT A MASK ON! No masks, no care for COVID-19, and so many people just standing around while I had to wait an hour for my one little nail in my tire to get plugged. Open bays, free technicians, and I had to just sit there and watch people eat instead of fix my tire. Seriously though, some of the employees didn’t even try to even fake wear a mask below their nose or something. This was INSIDE the waiting room, too. Unreal.

Mavis is an excellent choice for new tires. Clean and neat facility. Courteous counter help, friendly mechanic, who was very helpful in choosing the options that were right for my vehicle. I will for sure be back for an oil change and tune up in the future.

Make sure you get a price up front, they will be adding a bunch of up charges.

I had an appointment to have one tire replaced, was told it would take about an hour, and ended up having to stay there for more than four hours.

TL;DRgo somewhere elseI came here after being turned away from a different location. The customer service experience was top notch. It really was and I have no complaints in that department. However both the new tires were severally over inflated. One of them at 43 the other at 48, the sticker on the drivers side door clearly says 32psi. Im not sure if this is incompetence or strategy. Strategy being that over inflated tires wear faster and are more prone to blowouts which would bring the customer back in sooner to purchase tires again. They also failed to put all the lug nuts back on. I showed up with 20 and left with 18. Lastly the alignment I payed for didnt seem to take as the car slightly pulled to the left. Management called and offered to replace the missing lug nuts and fix the alignment next time I was in town. I called a week later and left messages and never heard from anyone.

Came for a tire plug for a slow leak. Not only did they find and remove the tack that was in my tire, they did it in a very timely manner. I was expecting 30-min to an hour but it only took about 15min and significantly cheaper than a place down the street.

Have been dealing with this location for a few years now & have never had a problem. Would highly recommend it to anyone who needs anything for their car

Fast easy service!

On a road trip my oil light came on, and I still had many miles to go. I had a couple free hours, so I decided to make an appointment at this Mavis. When I got there, there was a mixup with the call center making the appointment at the wrong Mavis (completely the fault of Mavis corporate), I was greeted by Jose who assured me hed be able to help me. I told him I was under a time constraint, so he jumped in and expedited my service himself. I have always gone to Mavis in different cities, but Jose exceed my expectations and made sure I was taken care of before continuing my journey. 10/10 would recommend this to someone in need of personalized and accommodating car service.

Had a bad experience with another branch of Mavis in the southern NJ area as far as an alignment goes, and the Somers Point branch made it right, and got the alignment 100% perfect. Shout out to Brian and his alignment tech at the Somers Point store.

*******BE AWARE DONT GO THIS PLACE ********I did set up and appointment to replaced the four tires of my car drop the car in the morning they even closed in the afternoon the called me saying dont have the tires on stock....I ended up have other tires but they didnt the alignment on my car which I paid went the next day and they told me dont have enough personal to do the alignment...wait to next weekend didnt a early drop ... around 10:am they called me cant do the alignment because I need the lower control arm replaced is gonna cost me 1080 plus taxWich the lower arm cost around 60 dollars ...so I my money back the they refuse I ask to speak the manager his name is Jose and they told me he went on vacation... thanks mavis you still onwme the alignment may be you can used that money to buy them ice cream ...

These folks fit us in as we had blown out a tire on an AWD vehicle, requiring 4 tires and an alignment. They were great to us and helped us get our trip back on the road as soon as it could happen. Outstanding customer service by the front desk staff as well - he was great!

Took my set of brand new tires and wheels to have mounted and balanced. They scratched the face of all four mag wheels. Grooves deep enough to feel with yours fingernail. Do not use them, I wont again.

I wasnt going to leave a review, but after The Regional customer service manger, ( Rich or Richard) had contacted me, I feel he was the rudest and most disrespectful, supposedly CUSTOMER SERVICE representative that I ever dealt with. Plain and simple, I had a new set of tires on my truck and the person who did the job over torqued the lug nuts. For safety reasons, I had to pay someone to remove the tires, they had to use a 3/4 inch air impact wrench to remove the lug nuts off of all four tires. The customer service manager told me it was impossible to have happened because he watch a video of my truck being serviced. I have purchased at least four sets of tires if not more, believe me I will never use Mavis again because of the so called professional CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER! Fred Lawrence was the manger at the Somers Point location when it happened. He can verify everything I have said.

They do free courtesy multi point inspections, and make sure my car is as safe as possible because they care! They are not pushy what so ever. I will only go here and I will let everyone know it’s the best place in town!

In an emergency, I went to this place instead of my usual mechanic. I needed a new battery, and was given a battery that was previously used in another car. But, was told it was a brand new battery! I spent over $100 on a battery that was previously used, and ended up spending another $100 on another new one when that battery died two weeks later. I know the battery was used because when I went to my usual mechanic, he pulled the battery out and it had a vin number on it that was not my car. Very disappointed

I just want to say that store manager Jose Lopez was a true professional, easy to deal with and answers all my questions and gave me a plethora of options regarding the tires I purchased. He did not try to upsell, hard sell or make me (who is not very auto-centric at all) feel like any of my questions were odd or amateur. He is an asset to your organization and we need more Jose’s in the world. Kudos to him and his staff at Mavis. He has a customer for life!

Let me start with the employees are very friendly and they took my truck in and quickly fixed it. The valve stem was leaking so I thought. They replaced the valve stem and the price was very reasonable. When they were checking the work someone noticed it needed a plug. It was plugged for no extra fee and we left. It was around 1:15pm on a Saturday. We got onto the expressway and drove about 10 miles and my tire was flat again. I called them and they told me their mechanics were gone for the day and there was nothing they could do. They offered absolutely nothing. So I got the car towed to Deltona tires where they are fixing it as I am typing this. I now have to get a new tire because of this plus I had to be towed. If they would have even said ok get it towed and we will fix it tomorrow or anything like that I would still be one of their customers but all I got was sorry I can’t help you the mechanic is gone for the day. Next time you should do a little bit better. But there won’t be a next time for me. I also think I should get refunded for all my expense.

I called ahead several days and set up a date to purchase 4 new tires. Upon arriving an ice cream cream truck arrived and everyone including the service manager went outside and ate ice cream totally disregarding that i was there. I went outside to get some assistance. I was told it would be an hour to hour and a half. I came back 3 hours later and my car had not been moved. All bays were open except one. We decided to wait an.. After waiting 20 minutes the car was still sitting in the bay. I inquired as to when my carwould be completed as i pondered leaving. I wad told the person was on break. My car is still sitting and probably will wait it out.?I consider this to be terrible customer service for this is the first negative review ive ever left for any business.

Could not be happier with customer service! The service on my car was going to take the better part of the day, I was offered a rental car or the manager Jose, offered to drive me home and pick me up when the work on my car was finished. I was called with updates on my car thru out the day. I have never been treated so well at any other place. I am a customer for life! Thank you Jose for your exceptional customer service.

Their Costumer service was unbelievable bad, the call Center tells one information and you get to place for services, they another and you dont get the service you need done its a mess. I went to buy tires and after waiting for more than 30 minutes, then they tell me that they are done for the day, instead of telling me right away it was only around 3:30 to 4:00 pm, they lack Costumer service.

Worst customer service EVER - had road hazard coverage on four tires. Took car in with a flat a few weeks ago at 8am - at 3:30pm I had to take car - couldnt wait any longer. Brought it back a week later and same thing - they kept saying my car is going in next. Tire was finally done at 6pm - but patch didnt work and tire went flat again. Third time finally fixed it - no apologies. Then today had a nail in tire - called and they said bring it right in and they would fix right away. Went to the counter where a young lady was looking at the computer and I was polite to not interrupt her. She never lifted her head to even say “I’ll be right with you” - finally after standing there for 2-3 minutes I asked her if she could lift her head up for a moment. She was obviously annoyed that I interrupted her. She let me know there were four cars to go in front of me and it would be at least an hour - based on my experience that means it would be 4 hours to fix a nail. I WILL NEVER USE Mavis Tires AGAIN.

DON’T COME HERE, this place is not worth the headache or aggravation.I called 10 am to ask for a quote on 4 tires put on the car, by no later than 4pm. I was told it wasn’t a problem, shouldn’t take more than an hour.When I walked in, I was ignored for 10 minutes by the front desk staff only to find out that they never booked my appointment over the phone. Dropped the car off anyway, reiterated again that I needed it by 4.Called 3x to check up and they kept reassuring me by 4 the car would be done, I started getting anxious at 3:45, called again & they said no more than 10 after 4. Still no call, so I showed up at 4:15 to pick the car up and again, had to wait for anyone to even acknowledge me in the wait room. Then they gave me an invoice that was more than DOUBLE the estimate I was given on the phone.Not only did I pay more than I could afford to drop on tires (would have been nice to know beforehand but nobody could recall talking to me on the phone at ALL, funnily enough), I had to call in late to work.The real cherry on top of the pie is they couldn’t even be bothered to put the hubcaps back on, when I found them later piled in the backseat LMAO.Hugely disappointing experience. Unfortunately this was the one of the few places I could walk to, to drop my car off. :/ Would have liked to know what I was getting into so hopefully this helps someone else.

Horrible experience. Took car to get aligned & get new tires, brought it in, call to check when would be finished, turns out the order hasn’t came in, leave it over night, & for the inconvenience they offer a free battery so I said okay, call back the next day to see progress of car, now turns out my car won’t start when I’ve had NO PROBLEMS with my car not starting drove it there with no problem. They claim my starter is bad & they don’t know why. DO NOT COME HERE.

Made an appointment for 2:00 to get one tire patched. The didn’t even look at the tire by 5:30 so I left without having the tire fixed. Awful customer service. My advice would be to go somewhere else.

Worst Place Ever Try to Tell You You Need All Kinds of Extra Stuff to Jack Prices Up and Bought Tires Didnt Put away the Spare

Well, where do I begin....took the buggy in for tire rotation and spin balance. Watching through the window the tires balanced and were about to be put back on without rotation. Had I not been watching they would not have been rotated. As the tires were being put back on I asked what the lug torque was for those wheels...suddenly it was looked up and the torque extension was rushed out to the guy doing the work. When I first went in I told the guy at the counter to just do the tires, dont touch anything else (I SPECIFICALLY stated, Dont go under the hood.). Well, the guy went under the hood anyway. On my way up to Philly immediately after my visit to this Mavis my hood came loose and I had to pull over at the weigh station before crossing the Walt Whitman and close it. Obviously the hood was not secured properly after my request was ignored. I had also asked the guy at the counter about new tires, he started looking up some options for me but got called away, never came back to discuss new tires and then saw him around the corner eating. When I went to pay the bill he never mentioned where we left off. Reading all the things about them on their website I expected waaaay more attention to detail.... but its just another tire shop......and given all the wait time and ridiculous foot dragging I would never go back nor do I recommend anyone go to Mavis.

Lots to say. Only thing negative was that there was a HUGE wait time, regardless of whether you had an appointment or not and everyone was complaining about it. On the other hand, they were really nice and took very good care of me. The waiting area was nice and clean too which is not always the case in these types of places.
