Diane is fantastic, we have been helped by so many employees here, all of them have been critical in getting our new house up to snuff, from electrical to flooring to order pick up. We special ordered carpet and the two guys who helped us were thorough, patient and understanding. De Von helped me out today at Pick Up and was easy to work with, he even reminded me to check the stuff I got which I always forget to do. We are moving nearby this location and will be back because of the employees (and the deals). Thank you

Had all but one item I needed to do a complete re-plum of a old 2 story I just bought. Employees were helpful and courteous. Menards also has a wide variety of items that are unrelated to construction or home repair which sets them apart from the others in my opinion. Most likely the only home inprovement store I will ever shop at

Very nice and cool place, customer service is excellent. Workers there really do help to make your experience there more efficient and easy. No wait, no masks and most of the cashier lines are open and quick. Definitely shopping for tools there again!

Menards has a wide variety of hardware. We like buying our bottled water there also.

Menards was awesome, today. .... except ......they should provide roller skates. I was at the check out when i had to go to the paint dept to get a $1.98 marker. But ... it was worth it ... you get two in the package. 😊😊😉

I hate the rebate scam that Menards does. Like all companies that run rebates, you have very little chance of actually receiving your rebate, even if youve done everything correctly. Id rather shop at Lowes.

This store is a disgusting waist of space and resources. And I was treated like I stole something just because I wanted to buy a few hundred dollars in tools. The facility is massive, but apparently walking around and checking it Out for the first time is grounds to have an escort put on you to follow you step by step. Making sure that Im not stealing. The entire experience was humiliating, I will never go back.

Menards. Hot in the summer. Best lumber selection around, as a general rule. Competitive pricing and typically friendly service. They have things that competitors dont have. Their biggest downside, depending on what youre looking for may be the things they dont have that their competitors do. I guess Im primarily referring to tools. The have some Bosch items, some Skil items, & (maybe?) Metabo. They are missing Dewalt & Milwaukee entirely, which is a shame if you are looking for tools. This particular location is rather new & is by far the nicest one Ive visited.

I enjoy Menards. Wide isles. Clean. As soon as I walk in im finding items from my list of needs for the home. Cant pass up the price on exact same name brands I shop for. I felt accomplished. And a couple potted flowers I like from yard and garden. Thanks Menards 😊

The 11% is very useful especially if you shop there a lot, perfect if you have a business that can use their products.

Normally dont have a problem with Menards but wasnt really helped by anyone even when we were clearly lost. Two employees stood in the middle of the aisle taking up the most space to shoot the wind about personal lives, not even a break taken to be asked need any help?

The lumber yard has stairs. Who does that?

I purchased a home nearby. My father and I were shopping this past weekend. Then we started getting followed! Its a pretty terrible feeling knowing employees of a company such as Menards still has employees profiling us. Its 2021. I was more hurt than anything. Just being honest. Used to love Menards but today I had a return and they gave it all to me in store credit because I used rebates of I would hand known this I would have just kept my purchase. So they screw you in one way or another..

I came to south bend location. I waited in line behind 2 customers. The first customer was a senior citizen in an electric wheelchair. He purchased many small items and was struggling to bag his purchases. I left my place in line and asked him if he’d like some help. He was very greatful and said yes. All the while the young cashier just stood there. When finished I asked if she wasn’t allowed to bag items and she very flippantly told me it was self bagging and not her job. Another young man said it’s self bagging so the man would’ve gotten it done on his own eventually. I was appalled at the rudeness and when I said so she told me to write an email or something. I spoke to a female manager who said she’d look into it. Is this really what society has become? So dissappointed.

This Menards is larger than the other local Menards. A little more selection of a few things. The problem is, some of it is also laid out differently than the others, making some things harder to find. In a store this size, thats not a good thing unless you like walking or have the patience to try to find someone to ask where something is.

Very unhappy that they have you walk out into the lumber yard approximately 75 yards to go to another area to view insulation. If it’s raining who wants to walk across the yard in the middle of truck traffic and forklifts. If you have enough room for an a covered “barn” then why didn’t you place it closer to the actual store? You can’t drive into the lumberyard without a ticket for pickup so you can’t drive to it either. Poor design for a new store.

Go early when I can because there is never enough staff at checkouts. Odd for a place this large to have this many checkouts and 2-3 lanes open. They tend to wait till the lines get backed up into the walking aisles before they open another checkout. Been an ongoing problem for years. Why?

For home improvement needs, there are two types of consumers: Menards or Lowes (and you probably think i forgot about Home Depot, I didnt)Of course this is just my opinion but someone is either Apple or Android, PC or MAC, Menards or Lowes. Maybe its just my upbringing, Ive always been a Menards person. No offense, home depot.

Lauren in the cabinetry department is awesome. However, the people in the electrical department wasnt helpful in answering questions about certain recepticals or switches.

Tools are cool.Not so big on safety tho.... Found out Chainsaws and tequila dont mix well and you cant throw them like knives or darts.... But dont preach to me about it okay.... Ive already gotten tired of my new nickname...Lefty .... So Im just gonna be here in my sorrows... Me and my nub... And my liquorHopefully they carry an apparatus that allows you use a chainsaw one handed... Im sure they do.... Menards has EVERYTHING!

This is a newer Menards. Not as large as some but well stocked and staff is friendly / knowledgeable.

They have about everything one needs for home supplies.

I purchased two houses and have been remodeling them. Menards is 2.0 miles from house, convenience is the reason I shop there. I have spent thousands of dollars in purchases. Today 7/16 I was band from returning anything without a receipt for three months. They love my money but because I have misplaced receipts I cannot even get a store credit. Because of this policy and the lady who works returns attitude I give them a soft 2 stars.

Store is absolutely huge! The architect went overboard with the open pavement. For a simple project I had to walk 5 miles to collect all the items needed. The outside lumberyard is obnoxiously large. I had to walk what seemed like a half mile outside just to get a standard 2x4.. and what do they expect you to do in the winter??? I’m not going to go inside, pay, drive around and through the lumber yard for a 2x4.. the only stock they have inside is “premium” at double the price.I’ll drive a little further to the Mishawaka menards which is appropriately sized and still stocks 99% of what I needIf you’re a professional builder who does his own shopping in person (not typical) it might be great, but that’s really not menards typical client.. not sure what they were thinking with this one..

I used to go to Menards all the time... Now with the mask mandate I cant even walk through the front door. I was injured fighting for your right to choose and because of it I am discriminated against and my right shave been stripped.Serve your country only to be discriminated against when you get home.I was polite and respectful, the staff was absolutely not!!!

Shopping for appliances during COVID has been a nightmare. I’ve had to visit multiple stores multiple times only for the people working there that they are out of appliances and they don’t know when they will get more. I wish I would have visited this store first. I explained my situation to the man working in the appliance department and he went above and beyond to help me get what I needed. I made one trip and I was in and out quickly. I got my appliances that day. The man that helped me was named Lauren. The team at that store should value him and his knowledge greatly. Really great customer service. I will be shopping here from now on.

Received my birthday gift, great place

Menards, Ireland Rd, South Bend, IN. We continue to shop here even for some of our grocery items because 1) the employees wear masks and shoppers are required to as well, 2) the constant 11% rebate during the pandemic is appreciated, and 3) children are not allowed to run crazy and maskless through the store. We love children, however in the majority of families now it the parents allow the children to be in charge.

Well stocked, not convenient as far as in and out, have to park, close to entrance or exit😟choose according to your trip purpose! I park by the out, exit area. Christmas might be trying 🙄 but overall, shop early, during daylight and be cautious, huge parking lot😎😳😟

I get wearing a mask during this time. I also think that if a establishment requires you to wear a mask they should provide them free to people who dont have any. The people who work there that I had contact with were friendly and helpful though.

Normally we have great visits.. this time we ran into a struggle returning a countertop pallat... Customer service desk was a struggle.. the lumber yard and gate was on the ball! Then 3 more steps to get the $20... Bet this could be shortened...

Got harassed by an employee for not wearing a mask. I am not medically able to. When I told him this he said no you dont.My medical condition is private and none of his business but I assure you its quite real.

The store today was clean and mostly well stocked. The other customers were the problem today. The mask mandate is not new. If you dont want to wear one just order your stuff online. But getting combative with employees for trying to be your babysitter is stupid. BTW I hate masks too

Yes Im trying to place an online order today so I can avoid going in the store and streamlining the process I tried going on Menards. Com could not find anything about ordering then I tried to call the store manager three times and no one ever answered the phone pretty disappointed is all I can say

This store is huge compared to the old one!!! we went in today to look at shower stalls for our new house the lady who helped us was amazing she actually spoke to us without us asking for help she was very kind and walked us through the whole process! its amazing when a store has awesome staffing like the older lady that helped us. it was packed today but they are having their grand opening right now. we will be going back very soon!!
