My 5 year old daughter and I had our very first appointment at the eye center today and I honestly could not have had a better experience. I was nervous about how my daughter would do because she does not like doctor appointments, but all she kept saying was how much she “loved this doctor”. Everyone in the office was so kind, from the front desk staff to Dr. Salam. I am EXTREMELY happy with my choice.

I always have a great experience. Appointment times actually mean something here......I never have to wait more than 2-3 minutes to be seen! Staff is friendly, and the doctors are great, too. They accept many different insurance plans. Have been going to years and will continue to go here for the foreseeable future! Also scheduling appointments is super easy and never takes more than a few days to get my contacts in once ordered.

I love it here! I have been coming here since I was a teen. I love how helpful they are, I always get my questions answered. Everyone is very sweet, caring and take care of you very well! Have never had a problem with them! Very professional

This was my first time here and I absolutely loved the team that performed my eye exam and got me fitted for glasses. Everyone was super nice and helpful. We are new to the area and so happy we have found an eye care facility that we love.

The staff and the Doctor I had the privilege to see, were all so professional, attentive and kind. I am a new patient and I appreciated how comfortable they made me feel. I totally love their Eye Doctor, shes so caring and understanding! Most of all she is PHENOMENAL with the kids, even the younger ones. The ladies in the front are always so pleasant and sweet. I would totally recommend and have referred everyone I know to come here. There has NOT ever been a moment or time where my experience was ever short of AMAZING! Everyone at this practice was kind and courteous to me. Doctor Stephanie Baxter is amazing! She always listens to everything I have to say and is very thorough when answering my questions and explaining my treatment. She treats me like I matter. That matters more than anything to me.

We were seen late in the day for a n emergency situation. A Rx was sent in late in the day and we were able to get it the same day d/t the efficiency of the clinic. So grateful for the care my daughter was given.

I love Pam Wise! I was given the appropriate tests by an assistant that I had never met before (shame on me as I cannot recall her name) and she was FABULOUS!!!One thing I did not receive, after my visit, was a print out of my new glasses RX.I will have to call tomorrow to obtain it as I desperately need a new pair of glasses.😉

I took my 19 month old daughter for an exam. The staff was amazing with her. Got right on the floor with us.. they really did everything to keep my daughter happy and stress free.. truly an amazing experience. Thank you!

This place is overpriced and unprofessionally staffed. The rude Blonde with the attitude that’s responsible for KNOWING what glasses your insurance covers knows NOTHING. You’re better off calling your insurance provider and asking them BEFORE you sit down with her. ALL the women at the front desk are more concerned with gossiping and giggling than the homeless people begging for money and hanging out with you in the waiting area. This place WAS 5 stars, not anymore.

I highly recommend Michiana Eye Center! Their service is incredible. I’ve had none to very little wait time for my appointments. The technicians are friendly and thorough. Stephanie Baxter has been my optometrist for years and listens to my needs and answers my questions clearly. I’ve had cataract surgery with Kevin Baxter, and my eyesight has never been better. When I experienced the common clouding in my new lens the problem was addressed and resolved quickly! For someone who has experienced poor vision for most of my life, I’m thrilled to be able to see well thanks to Michiana Eye Center and their professional and personable service!

Service was fast and well done

They were very kind and had lots to show me to help with me limited eyesight. She gave me a book to order from and told me ways to improve and programs.

My experience was good, and customer service was very helpful

I didnt appreciate the upsell of products and simply wanted to be told what my Medicare Advantage plan covered and order those glasses. Also I wasnt allowed to simply look at frames while waiting. Another customer had this privilege and I was told I could not do that. All in all I will not return here for my prescription again.

The doctors at MEC are friendly and informative. I feel like I am in good hands.The glasses selection is skimpy, however, and I dont like the glasses the employee helped me pick out. There must be a better way to make such an important decision as which glasses frames one can happily live with. I see that as part of MECs job as well, and there is room for improvement in that area.

I have used the Michiana Eye Center for years and have always had excellent experience. This time was no exception. I was examined very close to my appointment time, and the specialist that did the initial testing of my eyes was friendly, professional, and very informative in answering queries I raised. I then saw Dr. Hart for other tests, and he, too, was very friendly, thorough, and informative. I also found the check -in and check-out staff helpful and efficient. About the only downside of the Center is the high turnover of its staff it appears to experience. Over the many years, I have had different doctors, if not every year, every few years. Nonetheless, they all have been, in my lay persons view, highly competent.

I arrived on their doorstep as a first-time patient with an urgent situation. I could not have been treated any more efficiently or any more compassionately than I was, from the friendly and able staff at the check-in / check-out desk, to the competent tech and doctors who examined me and evaluated my situation. Every staff member appeared fully engaged in my vision condition. I was put at ease in a stressful situation, and felt surrounded by competence and caring professionals. I will be pleased to see them again on my next visit.

Downtown location. Have used them for several years. Ive been pleased with the results each time. The last two examinations Ive had have been painless and efficient. Really happy with the service.

From the first moment I stepped in the door, as a new patient, I was greeted by the receptionist immediately and my examination started right on time.I received an extensive exam by Dr.Baxter, who took the time to answer all my questions and found my new prescription for my contacts.I will return next year form my annual exam.

Been a patient there for several years now and have repeatedly felt like next time it will be better...but personally my experience was not so good. I felt like a bother every time Ive been there and my concerns have been dismissed. Im sure the doctors are qualified and excellent...but patient kindness goes along way too.
