Friendly staff, lots of sewing and craft options. I just didnt appreciate being followed around like I was going to pocket something.

I could spend hours and hours in the store. I now see the allure of crafting Paris Hilton is on something. The staff are friendly and polite. they did not have the variety of cricket stuff that we were looking for but its all good.

Oh my goodness! Havent been in here in years. What a treat for the senses! Lovely fabrics in every colour,style and texture. A smaller store, near and clean. Many craft items for hours of fun. As I walked through, my head whirled with ideas! The store is kind of hidden- I went there while my car was being worked on at Midas, across the way. Definitely go and check it out.

Small but bigger than it looks from the outside. I was so excited to find a JoAnns in the area since I just moved here. Staff was friendly and helpful. It wasnt too busy, and the selection was good. I will definitely go back!

Went on to find a few things with my daughter. She bought things that she wanted to make. All of the materials were marked down clearance items, so that saved her money. I was able to use a coupon to save an additional sum on some other things she bought not on sale so that was a plus.

This place has so many fabrics its impressive.

Thank you to Alicen for help with an item transfer from another store. She even took the time to find a coupon that worked! Also the day before this the employee I talked to about this item was very helpful and told me I could get it from another store because they were out of it.

Nice place. Lots of veriaty of craft supplies.

They didnt have what I was looking for it was a couple of items. And they dont have a bathroom for the public. I hate going there because I always have to go to the store next door to use their facility.

Huge selection of fabrics, from plain utilitarian linens, to colorful soft plushie furs, to adorable Disney prints that temp me to take them home despite not having a project to use them for. They also have a good selection of general craft store wares, tools, kits, findings, idea books, etc. Better than a Michaels or AC Moore if your project involves fabric! (Though I recommend the locally-owned Northeast Fiber Arts Center for your wool)

My husband went in found something he could use. Some shoppers annoying. Staff was fine.

Never had an issue with any of the staff. They are usually very helpful with making sure you get all the coupons you should for your purchase. It doesnt have an overly huge variety of fabrics aside from what you would use for quilting or fleece but for a small store I like the variety. I can always find something for whatever project I have. Just wish the store was a little bigger so they could offer classes.

I love this Joanns. Wider selection than in Barre. Very neat, clean organized. Great to have a male cashier. Friendly, approachable.

Staff is always weird and a little pretentious, not super helpful if youre a beginner crafter. Mostly quilting fabrics not much else, but if thats what youre looking for thats fine!

Two women working were extremely rude. I had driven an hour and a half to go specifically to Joann fabric. I had a few questions about quilting and they were very very rude. Acted as if I was bothering them when I asked for help. There were a few other ladies whose eye browse rose when they saw how she behaved towards me. I will never go to that store again. Some people should not work with the public.

I ordered something online and I was sent an email with an invalid tracking number. I reached out three times via email In a week a half to JoAnn Fabric and needless to say in a week I have yet to receive some kind of response. this is the last time I order from them. Too bad we don’t have more stores in Vermont to choose from.

I asked for some advice on a craft project and it was a huge mistake. The whole experience became confrontational rather than helpful when I was told that I was wrong in a very blunt and condescending manner. I really didnt appreciate her tone as I was just a customer looking for a little advice about glues to tack things down on leather for sewing. She claimed that nothing would work on leather, period, even though I had bought glue from them in the past that worked just fine. When I tried to recall the particular brand that I used before I was again informed that I was just wrong and that really irritated me. I went seeking a brand they carried in the past and was basically told that they never had it, even though after I left the advice counter, I went home, found the empty tube, called the store back and of course, they still carried it. But Miss Advice knows more than me and thats really aggravating...

I was looking for elastic cord but they had a great sale going on and eneded up buying alot more because their prices were so great.

On the small side for this chain. Very heavy on the fabrics side (roughly 60-70% fabric and related.) I was looking more for the craft sides of thing so wasnt able to find what I wanted.

Employees are always kind and helpful. The number of employees to cover all the areas that need it is never enough. I never see them idling and there is always a line at the fabric cutting or register.

Pretty clean and well-organized store could have used a bit more help but most of the associates were busy helping other people for the Holiday Rush

This store is only in business because there arent many options for sewing notions in Chittenden County. Even Michaels, down the road, will send you here for things --reluctantly. Because its common knowledge that customer service here is awful.I actually had trouble believing my wife when she told me about her experiences here because they seemed comically bad. In order to see for myself and spare her, I ventured over to grab a couple things. She was right.

The yarn selection is mostly acrylics. Great store if youre shopping for fabric though.

I shop all the big 3 (Michaels, AC Moore and Jo-Ann). I never go into any of them without my coupons, which makes the prices decent. Know your pricing before you go into any of them.The store is small, so it has a crowded feel, but it doesnt bother me. I seldom need service personnel. I am not going there for a shopping experience. As for variety/selection, because I regularly go to all 3, I have figured out what to get in which store.
