Love the makeup but I dont like how we cant ask for samples anymore and if asking for anything to sample, you get looks...like what are the small sized products there for if we dont ask for them who gets to keep them? The employees? Is that why they have such a hard time giving them out? Even to paying customers that spend decent money there each time they go ? Just curious not trying to sound rude. Other than that, Id give it 4 stars if I felt my review would be taken seriously.

Friendly staff. Not a lot of product on shelf. New policy of not being able to open boxes is in place. Very covered compliant. Its hard to buy makeup these days? Also if you had Sephora points they didnt use in 2020 they expired in 2021 surprise 😭💎

Went in to make a purchase only one person on staff who didn’t greet me. Floor was filthy with makeup scattered everywhere. Not stocked well. When I politely asked the woman doing a makeover if anyone else was around to help she told me her associates were out shopping while on the clock!!!! I guess I’ll be shopping at Ulta from now on. It’s unfortunate because this place used to deliver excellent customer service.

There was only one salesgirl on the floor and she did not offer to help me, although it was clear I needed it. TwoOther girls around her age came in and were immediately taken care of. She then proceeded to do a makeover on one and told me to wait.At the registry she was barely civil.I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Ive been a faithful Sephora customer for over a decade. Ive never had a disappointing experience there or online until tonight. This location is usually not as great as other locations, but I usually know what I want and the cashiers are usually very pleasant even if the floor associates are not. I still do a lot of shopping online because this is a small location and that was the case this time. I received my order but my eyeshadow palette was broken. No big deal, I knew I could return it. I called the store to see if it was in stock so I could just exchanged it and was told it wasnt there, but I could exchange it for something else or they could order it for me. She reminded to bring the receipt, etc. I didnt get the name of the associate, but she was friendly and helpful even though she sounded busy. Later, I went to the store to exchange the product to be greeted by the 2 associates working. I went straight to the register knowing what I needed to do. There was absolutely no one else in the store besides me and the associates so I expected this to be a quick and easy process. Nope, I was wrong. First, the cashier started by trying to make excuses for the broken product. I wasnt looking for a reason, that stuff happens. Next, she started acting like I was returning it. I asked if it could be exchanged because Id really love to have the palette if possible. She kind of rolled her eyes to check if it was available. She also told me that if the price has gone up, I would have to pay the difference to do the exchange. What? I receive damaged merchandise, but I might have to pay more to exchange it? I told her that didnt make sense but then she informed me that it was out of stock anyways. The entire time, she was acting like I was interrupting her work, which was weird, because I was still the only customer in the store. Then, she suggested I look around the store to find something else. I declined and said to just refund my money. I get that the product is out of stock, but maybe suggesting other products so I didnt leave empty handed would be nice. I had even mentioned that I had purchased it for an upcoming event, so upsetting probably would have been very easy. Oh well, looks like Ill stick to online shopping unless Im visiting another city :(

I work in the mall right across from sephora, i have never been more disrespected in my entire life. not only did the employee act as if i was interfering with her work, she rolled her eyes about 5 times while i was having a conversation about the naked concealer. The sale was 50% off and i asked if they had more shades and she said no and then i grabbed the only shade ( a shade darker then my skin tone ) to buy it, and she reaches across me to rip the 50% off and says “oh sorry this sale ended yesterday”. I WENT IN AT 8:40 AT NIGHT. definitely calling corporate. i have pretty thick skin, being a customer service representative myself, but this by far tops the cake. do not go to this location. they all suck.

Well, I had both Jesse & Jordan do my make-up demo. Im from the big city, but I believe this local Sephora staff is equally as talented, and even more supportive. Jesse has moved on, but fortunately for Sephora, Jordan is still there, and hes Fabuloso!Much Appreciation--Linda Wolf

The sales associates at this store arent helpful and a few have just been flat out rude. Im very disappointed in general. They often dont have what I came in for and seem exasperated when I ask for help or advice about a similar item.I was looking forward to having a local Sephoras but honestly, I would rather pay shipping than shop in this particular store, which is a shame. All my other experiences at Sephora stores were so positive.

My husband went out of his way to surprise me with a Lancôme eyeliner pencil from this Sephora location. When I opened the box there was a FILTHY Nars brand TESTER pencil in the box. Which tells me that the beauty advisor that sold the item didn’t check the product over before it left the store and why would an eyeliner tester pencil that is used on customers be that dirty in the first place!?!Being a seasoned retired beauty advisor myself, I would never have let this happened! When we called the store to explain the situation the associate was fairly pleasant and offered a prompt refund but had to connect us to the manager. After waiting for almost 10 minutes the manager gets on the phone to issue the refund. She didn’t care that we live OVER 2 HOURS away or that my husband was embarrassed. No apologies, no nothing and she certainly didn’t care about how disgusting I told her that the tester was... I will definitely NOT EVER purchase anything from this store again... DO NOT RECOMMEND! This is unacceptable and the managers customer service is heinous!! VERY DISAPPOINTED that a FILTHY store like this would even be allowed to sell a Lancôme product! I’m certainly not surprised by the low review ratings! If I could leave in less than one star I would! Next time I will be ordering from Nordstrom which I usually do!

The store never has what i need in stock. The staff is rude and does not help you. They seem inexperienced. You have to order everything you need online and wait for it to be shipped, it takes days, almost a full week sometimes. You also cannot use sephora gift cards for in-store online orders. So stupid and frustrating. I would never go back if this wasn’t the only sephora store around!!! So unhappy with this store.

You can’t ask the staff anything because they literally know nothing about any of the products. The store is never stocked with anything you want. I went every week for a month and 4 different products I wanted still weren’t stocked. With all of these horrible reviews how has nothing changed!!??

On Friday, March 10, at the JCPenney Sephora location in South Burlington, VT I had a terrible experience. I do not purchase high end make up often, but had decided I wanted to try out the Kat Von D Alchemist pallette. I was quickly disappointed to find it sold out, but displayed in three locations at the store. The manager yelled across the store that I should of known better and tried to get it online. Said manager looked like she just rolled out of bed and couldnt even be bothered to actually make herself look presentable.Next, my mother and I decide to browse the store. Every display was FILTHY, so dirty that I didnt feel comfortable swatching anything. There was barely anything stocked, no matter what section we were looking in. I asked for samples of a few skin care products and each time was told they werent allowed to give samples.I finally settled on purchasing a Boscia Charcoal mask. When I went to the register the other cashier was talking so loudly the person helping me couldnt hear me to give my email address. I asked nicely for her to tone it down so the cashier could hear me and she looked at me like I was insane. I finally gave up and did not purchase anything.I have never experienced such rude customer service anywhere, only one employee looked like she actually put effort into her look for the day. I noticed wrinkled dirty uniforms and bad attitudes were a common theme. Instead of hiding from customers actually needing help maybe they could have been spending time cleaning up a bit.I had high hopes of adding products to my look that would make me feel good and I just left feeling judged.
