Great selection, great staff and great service. I purchased glasses a year ago and the frame broke and with the pandemic a replacement frame (coming from France) was going to take a few weeks to get. They were able to find a frame that fit my lenses until my replacement frame came in. So very grateful for the effort, my eyes (and I) thank you!

Highly recommend! The staff and service are excellent. They don’t have a massive selection of frames but their service and prices more than make up for it.

The customer service by all employees of 802 Eye Care is definitely 5 STAR!Very accommodating, very friendly. They made everything so convenient and my glasses were ready in less than half the time that they estimated. Customer for life!

I had a great experience with the Optometrist, she was wonderful. I had a voucher for free glasses through Medicaid. I was not allowed to get any “extras” No in isoline bifocal, no line lenses, literally no extras, which now appears no prism, which I need. The staff I dealt with were not knowledgeable, even down right rude in some cases. The long haired blonde guy was the worst. He was rude and his customer service skills are nonexistent. I paid $58 but they couldn’t figure out for what. The eye exam was suppose to be covered and I was told how to get a voucher for a free pair of glasses. Making this long story longer but shorter. Great Optometrist, poor and rude customer service. Go for the eye exam leave and go somewhere else for your glasses.

I am extremely grateful. I walked into 802 Eye Care to repair glasses that were a lost cause. They went above and beyond to make sure I walked out with clear vision despite my financial hardship and my 15 pair try on streak. Their customer service makes you feel as if you are family and I will definitely tell everyone and they mama that this is the eye place to go!!!! 🤓🤓🤓🤓

I came here to get my prescription updated, they said my vision was BETTER than what my lenses were. they were super hasty and shady about hidden fees. i left paying $150 and still not being able to see. i went to Advanced Vision Care and they did more thorough testing and basically confirmed that 802 does not know whatsup. now i have updated glasses and can see clearly but it was no help from 802.

Great eye doctor, little costly, but. you get what you pay for. they are great with my son as well whom is a Diabetic.

What eye care should be like for everyone.Last year someone sat on, and broke my old pair of glasses. It had been a while since my last ophthalmologist check up. 802 Eye Care rightly told me they couldnt make new frames and lens, without a new prescription.I was impressed with the new tech they used to establish my eye health, and upgrade my prescription.Recently, my new frames from 802 Eye Care broke in half at the nose piece. I emailed a picture and a description of what happened. They told me to drop them off/mail them back, as they were under warranty. I got new frames super fast, and was amazed with my 802 Eye Care customer service experience.

I recently suffered a head injury that resulted in stitches, concussion and broken glasses. I needed new glasses and quick. The staff was amazing and friendly. They got me in quickly and even had my lenses in stock. I found a nice selection of frames displayed in the store and was able to pick out ones that I love (the wife even loves them... BONUS!) They were able to cut and mount the lenses on site! I recieved my new glasses within an hour. If I could give more stars I would. THANK YOU 802 EYE CARE!

Rude, nasty people! My husband called to request his records because we moved out of state, and they were very nasty to him! Avoid! Unprofessional! UPDATE: Someone from the practice has contacted me with an apology and an offer of a resolution, so I’ve changed my review from one star to five. Thank you for your prompt and helpful response.

Used to be a client but since they have moved, maybe changed ownership. They were arrogant to my wife and when I stopped for an appointment they were also arrogant. Did not have any availability for 3 months ! Will now go to different optometrist.

Incredible service from the entire staff. The confidence that Brittney showcased from the first call was enough for us to go with this company. During the visit, everyone was upbeat, had great energy, and cared about our needs. The gentleman (long hair, beard, and totally up with the current fashion) helped my husband Jason get out of the 1990s era. As a business owner, my husband left and commented I would hire everyone there to represent my company.

I have been with 802 for several years now and I can’t speak highly enough of them. Keith treats his staff and patients as though they are family and truly cares about each individual person and his staff mirrors that. I promise if you go to 802 you will not want to go to another Optometrist again and my reasons are, from the moment you walk in they are very kind and do not waste your time. Starting with the exam, Keith has purchased the most innovative modern equipment you can buy. This means when they dilate your eyes never once have I felt it being done nor have I had the experience of not being able to see after. I believe between this test and the glaucoma test are what people dislike the most. We look forward to going to our exams. You can not tell your eyes have been dilated, the glaucoma test is so non invasive I don’t even know that it has been done and I am a big baby when it comes to that one! Our Optometrist always remembers our situations and is above excellent, her knowledge and how she presents it is easy to understand. Wether you are rich, poor or somewhere in between it absolutely does not matter, you are treated with the highest level of respect you could ask for. They are excellent in every aspect of what they do and they work very hard to make sure every patient is 100% happy when they leave. No I wasn’t paid or asked to write this review, I did it from the bottom of my heart. I don’t know what I did before I went to 802, but I do not plan on ever going anywhere else. First,let me say that Ive had good experiences there before. But this time I was there for over twenty minutes trying on frames and was never acknowledged once. By not one person.Two other customers came and went, so its not as if there was no staff. Disappointing..

I had a great experience today the staff was super helpful and Dr. Pincombe was so kind and relatable we had great conversation I will definitely be coming here in the future. Also I got my new lenses same day before I left!!! 😁

I am not a patient here, but they saved me while I was visiting Burlington. One of my contacts teared in half and they gave me a trial one for free to save my 4 hour drive home. They were so helpful and amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We went here because my wifes glasses needed an adjustment. We didnt even purchase her glasses there. Yet the kind associate here adjusted my wifes glasses to her satisfaction. I tried to pay for the service but the associate insisted on not taking payment. Very professional store with kind employees.

Ive been using 802 Eye Care for my contact lenses and eye appts since they started and they have always been very helpful and and professional to deal with. I would highly recommend them if youre looking for a great local place for your eye care.

My children and I use 802 Eye Care for all our vision needs. When my son was told he had perfect vision, he was bummed as he really wanted glasses. Dr. Pincombe helped me to hook him up with blue-blocker lenses so he is able to wear glasses and loves it! All my glasses have come from them too! Amazing selection for all tastes!

When I see them, theyre great. Efficient yet cover all the areas. I recently destroyed my glasses while overseas. The Army supply chain is lacking and the cross bar went out of style in the 80s. They took my existing prescription and got new glasses made up that day and mailed out to me. I cant speak highly enough about them.

After giving many places many chances, I decided to give 802 Eye Care my business. I wished I made that decision when I started searching for eye care provider a long time ago. My glasses are perfect and never give me a headache. I was treated by very professional, attentive and pleasant staff who paid close attention to my needs and did not made me feel like a number. They have a lot to offer so don’t let their quiet location direct you elsewhere. In fact on that note, parking is a breeze!

I have been visiting 802 eye care for more than 2 years now. Last visit has been a worst experience for me. I was there for regular vision prescription check which we suppose to do every year I guess to ensure there is no change in your prescription...They had carried out some lens fitment test without informing me and charged additional 75 $ which cant be claimed under insurance.The explanation given to me was its there standard norms. But what I fail to understand is, how is that you do it all by your own terms without taking alignment from the patient. Whatever you do, you have to inform & take approval from patient after all...!!! (Come on..I know lens fits my eyes well, I am using from past 12 years after all, I dont need a check until unless I experience any kind of issues and i know I should meet a doctor if I have go thru such problems)I felt like I was cheated... Be Careful if you visiting them...

Unbelievable attention to customer service. Very accommodating, will order new contacts with as little hassle as possible, they automatically check to see if insurance covers a product, and overall a delightful place to visit.

Refused to give me a prescription for contacts after I specifically told them my situation on the phone. I was told it would not be a problem and it clearly was! I wasted a half day of pto to be refused by the doctor.

Great service & polite staff. I picked out new frames and they had the lenses made in under an hour! Ive never had glasses ready for me so quickly.

I had a bad health scare almost died and left severely visually impaired, therefore my glasses prescription is extremely strong and extremely expensive ($600.00) so needless to say thanks to UVM University Hospital, they have programs to help financially struggling people, I went from perfect vision to blind in my left eye and about 30% no perefferel vision,needl neeto say I woke up at 40 yrs. Old disabled and broke. These wonderful people from 802 Eyecare were so very much professional and did a wonderful job with friendly and quick help! Made a very wierd curcumtance easy and not at all akward, like I have felt at other well known chains, anyway just received them in the mail today and Im so very pleased with the results,best glasses IVE ever had the pleasure to wear!! Highly recommend, staff very knowledgeable and helpful!!
