Nice place to grab some gifts for others! We stopped on our way out of town to get a few souvenirs and left with more than we needed. Owners were nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend checking out if youre in the area and are looking for VT made items

If you are looking for Vermont made gifts no better place. They have an incredible selection and the owners and staff and friendly and knowledgeable. Whether your are visiting or live here definitely a cant miss place to shop.

It must have changed owners. Nothing was the same. Come from outer state to visit the family. Always stop. Not any more. Will have to find another place for Vermont memories.

We typically avoid these types of places because they tend to have a lot of junk... but I have to say this place actually was like a giant centralized store that happened to have samplings from many of the stores we made special trips to throughout out weeklong stay in Vermont. It boasts a huge selection of local products and artwork. Recommend a visit if you dont have time to go to the original stores across the state.

Great Sir with a large selection of items from local artisans and I got a spectacular watercolor of lake Champlain called hope. The staff was courteous and package things well. I highly recommend Vermont gift Barn!

This is a great store for Vermont products. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spectacular display of artwork, jewelry, glass, pottery, photography, etc.I make a stop here whenever I am in the area.I was at ease with the cleanliness and care taken to make sure my experience was safe. The staff wore masks and were constantly disinfecting.Enjoyable experience and I will be back.

Some nice Vermont gifts, but many are over priced. The sweatshirts, or some of them, are low quality with a high cost. I do not recommend.

This store is my favorite place to visit when I am in Burlington. Every time I am in here there is something new to discover. The quality of items is unlike any in your run of the mill tourist shop. All items are Vermont or local made items of the highest caliber. I have made Beer Bread from mix bought here, used Maple Syrup bought here on my pancakes, used my Highland Pottery casserole dish for holidays and bought many gifts that are loved! I highly recommend a visit to Vermont Gift Barn!

Much classier than I expected. They have a lot of really nice items, many sourced from local artists or galleries. I was expecting your typical touristy junk shop and was very pleasantly surprised.

Always enjoy visiting this store with beautiful Vermont crafts, pottery, scarves, hats, toys, wooden kitchen items, amazing wooden boxes, calendars, notebooks, and art. Something for everyone, even your pets. Great place to go Christmas shopping for quality Vermont gifts. Great jewelry collection, too. Highly recommend.

Decent selection from candy, spices, some clothes and hand mad items. Most items for what they are even if handmade are way overpriced. Might have what you are looking for to get a gift but many other stores in the area with better and more fair prices.

The Vermont Gift Barn is GREAT gift shop and gallery, it must be hundreds of local artists. Pottery, jewelry, woodcrafts, blown glass, painting, VT food products, games, toys, clothing and so much more. The staff and owner are always friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

Nice shop but prices are way too high. $28 for a quart of non organic maple syrup. Thats price gouging. Holy cow. Puzzles that are $16.95 everywhere else are $21.95. Definitely a tourist trap.

We were visiting Vermont last week (July 2019) and saw this shop and knew that we had to stop in for gifts and souvenirs. We probably spent a couple of hours in the store and just loved everything that we saw. We found some amazing artwork from local artists and got just the right souvenirs and gifts for family. Ann and her staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if youre in the area :)We even ended up with a few gifts for ourselves! Ann bubble wrapped and gift wrapped our items for us also so that they would make it safely back home on the airplane - and everything did make it safely back home! Thanks!

OMG! This place is amazing. You can find just about every great home decoration here. Everything is crafted by local Vermont artisans and artists. I feel like Im supporting the community and getting a special, custom work of art in the process. I strongly encourage you to visit at least once. Youll return again and again.

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** - Stopped in with the family to buy souveniers to commemorate our Burlington vacation. Selection was decent, seemed a little overpriced, but more importantly, the store owner uncomfortably followed us around like a hawk. He then put his hand on my 6 year old son when my son picked up a $10 decorative ceramic bell. He reached over, grabbed my sons hand, and took the bell from my son and emphatically put it back on the shelf. This is not appropriate behavior during normal times, but we especially did not appreciate this under the current Covid-19 social distancing circumstances that we are dealing with.I can certainly appreciate being concerned about children touching some of the more fragile items in the store, but this mans overall behavior and attitude was totally unacceptable. If you are that concerned, do not allow children in your store. Or, put up a sign that says do not touch. Not only did they lose out on our business, we will forever encourage people to avoid this place. Other than this, we had a great time in Burlington VT!***Response to Owners response**As a former business owner I understand the need to try and defend your actions, but you can clearly see i have never left another negative review before in my life.But to clarify, there was one other family in the store and they left just behind us. So....not sure what you meant about the applause. And I see you have used the security camera lie before in response to your other negative reviews. I was simply warning others that this is not a family friendly place. We have never before been kicked out of a store for our childrens behavior. I am not saying they are angels by any stretch, but your behavior today was unacceptable, and it seems as if you are aware of that by your over the top defensiveness. Maybe you were just having a bad day, or maybe, like other reviews have noted, you are not great with children, but either way, that was not acceptable behavior in todays times.

Really cute shop. Theres things from all over Vermont and for all different types of people. However, because a lot of it is handmade, its a little spendy. One of the people working was super friendly, the other seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else. Really cute stuff tho.

Absolutely wonderful little Vermont gift shop. Anything you can think of they have in there and more. They have unique items, custom cutting boards, nest VT foods, VT paintings you name it they have it and its almost all made in Vermont! They also have a VERY generous military discount as well. This place is awesome. I only gave it 4 stars because the are charging over $30 for sweatshirts and not once but twice while trying on some the zipper split.

They beautifully wrapped my gift in wedding paper for a small donation to the humane society. Good people, great selection of local crafts and artists.

I went Christmas shopping here and didnt resist buying myself a few things. Everything is beautiful and tasty and I love that the money I spent keeps Vermonters in business. Its a little pricy but its worth it to support locals. The employees were all very nice too!

Must STOP HERE IN BURLINGTON. Absolutely amazing place!. They have everything local that you want.. Anne, who works there, was so kind guiding us on certain types of Maple syrup and other itmeas! It really felt like a home environment from anything from t-shirts, instruments,pottery, childrens books! You could spend days in there admiring the work of the local community. Highly Recommend!!

It was a great experience, we went in the store to get souvenirs to bring back home to NJ and my little one was struggling with her pants falling and the manager, took her time to improvise a belt with laces pink of course to make sure it matches her outfit, so sweet, didnt get the chance to thank her because she got a phone call and was assisting a customer, thank you for your kindness...God bless
