My Husband took his car here to get the motor and transmission installed. During the process of installing eveything, the mechanic DROPPED the transmission after they placed it on a barrel vs. having a true ttansmission stand to sit it on. Then, switched the shell of the transmission because after they dropped it, the shell was damaged. They THEN tried to.seal some cracks by using bondo thinking my Husband wouldnt notice. Once they installed the transmission, there is now a ticking noise coming from the transmission that was not originally there when we dropped it off to be installed. We took our car up there 6times to get Tony and his crew to correct the issue and still ended up having issues. At this point, were going to take legal action because we paid him for the installation of the transmission and the service is unacceptable and not complete. So sad people try to take advantage of a hard couple who were just looking to get their car serviced by what we thought were licensed professionals. Shame on us.. NEVER AGAIN...

My daughter and I drove over from Orlando for a weekend with my parents. My car is older and was vibrating terribly so I was nervous to drive home. He got my car up on a lift to inspected it right away.He explained everything thoroughly and honestly. I had issues with my rotors/brakes and was referred to Affordable Auto Pros at their Ridgewood Ave location. It was my first time in and I didn’t know what to expect being a woman needing auto service. When I walked in it was incredibly busy so I was not expecting it when the Owner Tony and his wife Tracy greeted me with a smile and squeezed me in around an already fully booked day, taking numerous phone calls and juggling checking in customers. They are quite the multi-taskers,friendly and understanding of how important not being without a car is to their clients. They squeezed me in and then I met my mechanic York, who was very knowledgeable and patiently went over the details and options that were available for my repair. York was very efficient and I found myself in and out in less than two hours, which was amazing considering how busy they were. Very nice and affordable!! I brought my car in thinking that I needed a new belt and found out it was something totally different. So they didnt fix something for me that was not necessary. I had taken to my car to another shop two months prior and they didnt find the problem that they found. which is our odd because I paid for a full diagnostic test. no hes in trouble yeah thats printed out a list of all these things I needed done to the car worth hundreds of dollars. Can I bring my car to this place and they actually tell me whats wrong with it instead of racking up a bunch of unnecessary charges.

He called the South Daytona shop told them I’d be there within 1/2 hour Matt was waiting I told him my problem .He is very knowledgeable I am happy with the alignment and will return for other service

I was highly impressed with this place that is almost hidden when driving by. I went in and met with Matthew and their tech Robbie and explained that I wanted my truck to have some noise and a tune up. These guys know their stuff. They not only made my exhaust mean but they did the custom bends I needed and gave me better prices than the other two muffler guys in town.Now my truck runs great!I will be coming back to this shop for years to come.

I was referred to this business by Discount Tire on Beville Road in South Daytona, as my former mechanic had very recently retired, and I couldnt be any happier with the service I received today! I took my 2009 Honda Civic in for an oil change plus to request that the mechanic attempt to diagnose the cause of the engine light being on in my dashboard. Tracey promptly answered my emails, Matthew who tended the check in was very kind, friendly, and efficient, while York, the mechanic, greeted me promptly upon my arrival, advised me as to his initial plan of action, and thoroughly reviewed his findings & suggestions should the engine light issue recur at some future date. The charge for todays servicing was very reasonable and I will surely be back for any future auto repair needs.

Had intermittent issues with the drive train but couldnt find the problem. Matthew and the techs put the truck on their new scanner and the problem was solved. Truck runs great and I know all systems are now working. Well worth the fair price I paid. Im a loyal customer now.

I just went to get my Lexus RX 300 brakes changed and my experience there was above my expectations. The staff and especially the owner (Tony) was very friendly. They worked fast on my car: identifying and solving the problem quickly! I am beyond happy about the service I was provided with and will go back there when I need something. I had a major repair. My evaporator broke. In my car, the windshield has to come out before they can take the entire dash apart to get at the evaporator. It was going to cost me over $1,600 plus tax if I brought it to the Chevy dealer. While I was in Tonys office at Affordable Auto Pros, he called around local reputable mechanics to see if he could get me a good price. He gave up over thirty minutes of his own time to help me. I truly felt that he cared about me as a customer. Anyone who does that deserves my business. As it turned out, Affordable Auto Pros came in at the lowest price so I got my car repaired with them and Im very happy with the outstanding job they did. I will definitely bring my car back to them in the future.

This is a great locally owned mechanic shop! Tony and Tracey are an amazing husband and wife co business owner duo. They are up front and honest with all the work that they do, and give you prompt service with attention to detail. Long story short. I recently had my oil changed at Firestone, here in Daytona Beach. At Firestone, I told them my budget and asked if they would include a maintenance check, which was scheduled for my car. 15 minutes later, they come in and say I need a mandatory refill on my air conditioning unit and if not done could cause considerable harm to my car. They said it would cost 102.00 dollars, I said no, that I couldnt afford it. Afterwards, I went to Discount Tire, told them what happened and he immediately gave me the flyer to Affordable Auto Pros. I called them and explained what happened and they told me to come in. Tony first explained that the cost was much lower than what was told to me. I went in and they checked my car, twice. Tony asked what was told to you? I explained it again and he said the air conditioning unit specs are EXACTLY where it is suppose to be, they were perfect. I was relieved and angry at the same time. Relieved that I actually met an honest shop with great customer service and reasonable prices. Also infuriated that a national company, Firestone, would try to con me into services that I didnt need. I will no longer be doing business, in the future, with Firestone. From now on its Affordable Auto Pros for me!!! And I hope for those in the Daytona Beach area, that need great quality service, fair prices, great customer service and honesty, for all car related issues they choose Affordable Auto Pros too.

I rarely post reviews but for Affordable Auto Pros Id like to make an exception. More times than none your car is your second largest investment. Having said that, I highly recommend Affordable Auto. After taking my car to Firestone and them telling me that I needed everything from a water pump to an alternator. I dont know much about cars. But, I do know when someone is trying to take advantage of me. So, I called around and spoke to Tony with Affordable Auto. I had the car towed to his garage. He informed me that I had a leaking hose and didnt need an expensive water pump and diagnosed my electric issue getting me back on the road with a smile and and a lot more money in my pocket. A very respectable and honest shop. I took my vehicle in to be inspected because it had been garaged for a good while. I was happy to hear everything looked in good shape and no need to fix things that werent broken.
