This place took me back.. Way back.. Yes, it is dated.. The boxes are old, the smell is old... But thats the appeal.. This place isnt a box chain, he takes CASH only... Be aware of that...

My boyfriend and I are very big comic book collectors, we walked into the store and were greeted and told if we had any questions to just ask. He then left us to look around. After walking and looking a bit I asked him where to find the hollowing commanders he showed me two places and grabbed stacks out and brought them to me. I then asked for black widow what ever he had and again he walked me around pulled out stuff and brought them to me. He was filled with knowledge and even turned me on to other stuff I have never heard of. Although we live 2 hours away I will be back to this shop anytime we are in town. He is cash only no card but an atm is within walking distance if you forgot your cash. He also gives 10% off if you spend $50 or more! He has a great collection a bit of the older stuff like 70s and up. Very friendly and helpful! Thank you again for your help sir! :)

First time there, had a wide array of comics and other types of pop-culture items.

I went to this store hoping to find some good back issues. Heard lots of good things from people around the area, and also some bad things too. Sadly though, i got the bad end of the comments. They have a sign on the window that says:Tuesday - Saturday12pm-7pmAlways lateI waited from 12:00 -12:40. Still no one showed up except another potential customer who walked up to the door being locked. We talked and we both just ended up leaving from frustration.I was really looking forward to looking at and maybe getting some issues from this particular store. They might as well change the store hours if theyre going to be always late to their own store. This isnt cool.

First, Im not a comic book expert. However, Ive been in many comic book stores making purchases for my son who is a collector. This store has a large inventory and a very knowledgeable owner. The two comics I was specifically looking for, he had. I will revisit when I return to the area.

I have bought different things for over 30 years from this guy.Like all comics folks he has good days and bad days, imagine being in that place for three decades! I particularity like that as well as comics, and the things that go with he has a wall full of inexpensive S-F paperbacks!

Definitely a nice store. However my only negatively is they arent open at the times posted. Definitely needs a looking into.

Best place I found for my comics.

Honestly I havent been in the store but when I talked to someone on the phone about coming in they were very rude, and I tried to call back a few times over the next two days because there was something I really wanted that my comic shop sold out of quick but there was no answer during business hours. If you dont mind going out of your way a little bit I recommend going to cloak and dagger comics instead

Walk in with no greeting (made eye contact). Walked around for a little while going through small new section. When I was just about done walking through the store some one finally asked if I need help. I went to pay, and then was told they are cash only(no sign on the door) wish I had not made the 30 min trip.

Never ever open when I try and stop by. If you can’t be there when you say then change your hours

Steve is very knowledgeable and actively works hard to fill requests for rare or hard to find books. These are qualities you wont find at other shops.

Steve is an awesome guy and has a great inventory of older comics! For those of you who are looking to complete your collection or like the older storylines of your fav comics, this is the place to go in Volusia County!!

Avoid like the plague. Rude, does not supply the public, only those who subscribe, is not open frequently during hours posted, and the knowledge shared is highly limited and questionable, I would almost guess this store is a passing hobby, the way it is (not) run. Go to Cloak And Dagger in Ormond, or SMASH in Lake Mary.

We too weren’t acknowledged when we walked in, the owner just stared at us. I finally had to say hi, more so he would stop for him stop glaring at my wife. And to top it off, the place is a dump.

Call before you go! I drove to the store in the middle of the afternoon during their business hours and the store was closed.
