I asked them to diagnose and repair my desktop, which had been having intermittent Blue Screens of Death problems, along with many of my programs crashing nearly constantly.They were friendly enough. I try to keep in mind that they were flooded with repair requests, and that the nature of my computers problem made repair difficult. But they had my desktop for 9 days, for which I paid ~$30 up front, and all they could tell me after all that time was that it was probably an issue with my video driver... but they werent sure. I was told I should probably just buy a new computer… at their store.The most frustrating thing is that I had already ruled out a video driver problem before handing this to them. The issue persisted over 3 different video cards of different brands PLUS a complete reformat of the hard drive, and they knew this. They obviously had no clue what they were doing and gave up, thinking I was not competent enough to notice their laziness.In short: They took my money and did nothing, then tried to upsell me.The issues came back, or rather never left. It took me about to hour to get it to crash, which shows that these people didnt even try.

I cant say enough good words to describe Winchester. The staff rocks! Always willing to help and repair any and I mean any issue with our laptop. Great, great place to buy a computer,laptop and everything that goes with them. Look no further for a desktop or laptop and all the bells and whistles that go with them.

Ive had years and years of outstanding service from everyone at Winchester Computers. The company and its owner, Robert, are easily the most knowledgable, reliable and trust-worthy company around. Hes transparent about the repair diagnostics and tops the A+ service with affordable rates. I highly recommend them for all computer fixes, especially Apple equipment.

Nice store, nice staff. I wish they had a bigger parts selection. Didnt have parts that were released years ago that I needed, so some of their stock is outdated for efficiency/compatibility. Definitely call ahead to see if they have the specific part you need. I hate to not be able to buy locally. The technology is moving so rapidly that something as simple as not updating to current 5.1 Bluetooth connectivity was interfering with my controller based gameplay severely.

7 calls to Apple support and a visit to The Geek Squad at Best Buy and only Robert was able to fix my iMac. His expertise is amazing. He was able to retrieve almost 100% of files and pictures that I was told was gone forever. Thank you Robert. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I brung it in for a password reset and now my computer tower won’t power on. I tried everything there is to do. They shrugged it off being lazy and basically pushed me out of the door so they won’t look bad in front of the other customers.

I had a damaged Mac Book Pro that had a dent on the cover. When you turned it on the right potion of the screen should the pixels putt of wack. Apple said they could not fix it and suggested I take it to Best Buy, which also said they had no way of fixing it, but they suggested I take it to Winchester Computer. The owner is a guru and fixed the problem in a couple of days. Before you give up check them out. They are aces. In my book.

Fixed my laptop quickly at the beginning of the semester. This review is a little late bit its been 4 months now and my labtop is running perfect . I usually hate computer places because they are unreliable but these guys are one of a kind.I highly recommend them.

We came in with a problem, while on vacation, and we were helped right away. Our laptop was fixed, while we waited.

Very honest and great prices. Fixed my computer for $29.99 and did it less than an hour.

Ordered a new charger from them a month ago, I didnt hear anything for two weeks so I wanted to see whats going on because I needed to get the charger I gave them back. They ordered the wrong one, and I even bought some stuff I was there last. They were extremely disorganized, seeing how they lost my old charger and didnt have any paperwork to prove the one they found was mine despite the fact I had labeled it with my name. Been three weeks and still no phone call. I will not be shopping with them again nor will I be coming back to see if they have the right part.

Bought a computer in June 2019 after my HP computer could not be fixed,, called, asked for tech support, busy, was told he would call back,never happened, second time call for tech support, same answer, person speaking said he would have tech call back, never happened, sorry I bought the computer, asked for help twice, NO RESPONSE, I will also report this to the Better Business Bureau.
