I have been buying cars from this dealership since the late 80s early 90s and I have no complaints thus far. I wish you had more inventory, but I was able to find a car. My experience was great and Otis Smith is still the best. He is professional, knowledgeable and funny.I enjoyed working with him and so far I am happy with my car, with the exception of a scratch on the back door of the drivers side. I understand that the technicians are on strike, so nothing can be done just yet. So other than that Im a happy customer.

I went to the dealership Nissan in south Holland with intentions of buying a 2013 Nissan Rogue because it fit my budget and I’m trying to repair my credit. I had an appointment and I got there 15 minutes early and they took me right away which was perfect. The sales rep whose name is James took care of us. I tell him what car I’m there to look at and he still says “well I’ll still look if I can get you into something else”, I guess he walks off to ask about the car and he comes back and says the “transmission blew out” I told him I wish I would’ve known that I wouldn’t waste my time. He’s saying he doesn’t want to get us into anything that’s going to mess up the next day. And I explained to him I’m trying to get something good and that I can afford. But I feel he wasn’t understanding me. So he’s trying to get his sale basically. As soon as he gave me my license back we waited 5 minutes and left. I just feel my time was wasted the day before I checked if the car was good and in stock they said yes. Then all the sales reps or whoever they are, are by the front door just loud. I wouldn’t even waste my time going to them. I feel I was bullshi***** Put the customers first. Why try to get me into something I told you I can’t afford.

This was my first time dealing with South Holland Nissan and my experience was pretty solid, from the first initial call with Brenda Watts who took her time and walked me through what was needed. I didnt feel rushed off the phone, she was very patient. You need more people like this in your call center a understanding rep who has the knowledge and patience to walk old folks like me through the process if a plus! Keep up the good work and hire more folks like Brenda.

Nissan had my vehicle for 3 months with no follow ups unless i made the call. It was said that I had a bent strut. In my opinion it was an defective strut. I had only had the car 5 month. I had to pay out of pocket. My next vehicle will not be purchased through Nissan.

They don’t even put your plates on right they don’t care about you they just want $$$ I bought a car cash and they plates fell off the second I got on the highway. Got home no rear plates called them and they said they couldn’t do nothing until my title gets here went to the dmv got a temp plate 4 months later still nothing and they don’t answer calls. I will have to stop by asap. And also the car they sold me had a very bad tie rod ready to fall off broke the next day. Couldn’t even fix a 60$ part as it was dangerous to drive like that. Highly Don’t Recommend!!

I have been getting my car serviced here for 6 years (2 cars) and never had an issue until my last visit a couple of weeks ago. Brought my car in for an oil change after leaving I went 1 PLACE, to a friends house. As I am walking down her driveway I notice a piece of my bumper missing near the headlight with scuff marks. I immediately called to let them know what happened, the service manager was unavailable at the time but still took my car back right away. The gentleman said that I would have to bring my car back Monday morning for them to take a look. On Monday I spoke with the service manager and of course brushed it off and said there was no way that could have happened because I only had an oil change, I repeatedly expressed to him that my car was NOT like this when I brought it in and had only gone 1 PLACE. He was so quick to dismiss me and said it could have happened anywhere, as if it couldn’t happen while they were parking my car. The lack of accountability was disturbing and very upsetting. To add, you can tell that someone tried to fix what they had done because the piece above my tire was loose to the point it CAME OFF while I was driving. Now I am stuck with thousands of dollars worth of damage to my car to get the bumper replaced. I have spent thousands of dollars at this dealership over the past 6 years. I will NOT be coming back to get my car serviced here I would rather drive to the Nissan dealership in Orland before coming back here.

I dropped my car off at Nissan of South Holland to the auto repair department on Saturday June 27th, Called several times and even left messages regarding my vehicle and never got a response. When someone did finally contact me on the following Saturday June 2nd they claimed they had been trying to contact me for days but had the wrong number even though I had given my name and number several times prior to that day. I even stopped by on June 30th to check the status of my car! NO ONE could tell me what was going on with it. Today is July 7th I still do not have my car, it still is not ready and I am paying THOUSANDS in rental car charges.

I was scheduled for a 9:30 am appointment for diagnostic which I was not informed to drop vehicle off and did not leave the premises until 5:30 pm after sitting waiting all day I discovered that some of my property was missing from my vehicle I will definitely not be making any recommendations on Nissan south Holland very poor service very unprofessional

I purchased a vehicle in December of 2020I was assisted by Otis Smith.... this was by far the worst experience I’ve had with the dealership.... I was promised complementary oil changes for my inconvenience of my vehicle not being ready at the time of sale..... yet to see them and when I call to ask about them still nothing.... I have yet to receive any advertisement mail for discounts for oil changes or tire rotations... another Nissan was just purchased in my family from a different Nissan dealership and she received all the bells and whistle‘s.....lost a sale that day! I would not Recommend this place to anyone they are only friendly just so that they can get a sale after that They forget all about you!

For the first time I didnt receive excellent service. Normally I drop my car off on a Thursday and its ready that Friday This time it didnt occur, I received a call about what the problem was and I told them to proceed with the repair and then I asked about the other issue in the rear. I was told Ill get back to you. No answer, so I stopped by that Friday, car was sitting outside, no answer regarding my issue in the rear. The car was pulled back in looked at and placed back outside. The bushings are bad, ok fix it. It should be ready Saturday before noon and it was, should have been ready Friday evening. The car is still pulling left but I will see if new tires and an alignment finishes off the repair, I hope so

Shauntel did an excellent job, she has fantastic customer service skills and she put me in a brand new car. I am extremely excited about how the process went, I was in and out of the dealership in about 3 hours. Shauntel showed me one vehicle and I didn’t want to see anymore cars. I fell in love with my Electric Blue Sentra and I am satisfied. The finance manager Vino was professional and very informative about how the warranty works. If I could Give Them A Negative Star I would. I went here trying to get a new car and I got one. But, they charged me 3000 extra dollars and failed to mention it to me and when I noticed it on my paperwork they basically told me it was my fault and I shouldn’t had trusted them to do the paperwork correctly.! They saw a young girl needing a car and took full advantage of it and I’m so mad I could cry. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and if you do go there make sure you check your paper work before you sign the deal. Lesson learned

I was not happy with the fact that the salesman “misspoke” when he gave us the price of the vehicle. He indicated the price included sales tax and registration when it only included the dealer markup of over 20%. We did not notice until I was signing the bill of sale. Also, I notice quite a change in the way they treated me before and after purchasing the car there.
