Great shop good people good prices and great work

Took my Harley Screaming Eagle heads in for Stage 3 Porting. 2 1/2 months later, I received my heads back. Immediately I noticed that the Heads had been surfaced even though I did not ask for nor wanted. The port job looked like a minimal port job. After putting the engine back together, it had major Detonation...I took the heads off, sent them to another engine builder with measuring equipment and a flow bench.Although the heads looked ported, they did not flow much better.The real problem is that they Decked my heads .55 and with my 10.5 to 1 pistons sent my compression to 12 to 1 causing extreme Detonation.Im lucky that I caught it in time before it destroyed my motor.Sorry, Craig, but whomever you had perform this job really f#&@ed them up.

I bought a motor from this guy 3 years ago and had less than 100 miles on it before it went bad. I recently tried agaim to working with Craig on a solution to fix his poor work but he stopped calling me again. I saved for 2 years to buy it from him. And now saved for 3 years to have a qualified builder to fix his poor workmanship. Im a disabled Veteran and havent drivin my car in 3 years. Do not waste your hard earned money on this shop. He cannot be trusted. Frank C I had to give him 1 star because it would let me give him 0 stars which he deserved 0

Excellent work, dropped off a set of heads and they were rebuilt, machined AND painted ready to install by the next day. Will be going back for future motor builds

Great place for machine work

Drop off a set of 243 heads at 12 for a valve job and deck surface. Craig called me at 5 and had it done already. Super nice guy. Very helpful and knowlegable. Gave me great advice. He even got me the gasket set the next day cheaper. Defiantly going there from now on. I recommend them for all your performance needs.

I had my fe 360 rebuilt last year with them. Good price, good service, wonderful work done. They are also very reasonable. Being that it was my first rebuild and I am self taught, Craig was invaluable as a resource for properly building and breaking in my new motor. I will definitely do business with them in the future.

Kind, caring and concerned somes up Craig add quality to that and you have what the world lacks today. I build custom classic bikes and cars mostly European, some of these projects are pretty rare and call for careful, accurate machining. Everything Ive thrown at this shop has been done exactly as I requested with a nice finish. Their good turnaround time and fair pricing keeps my shop flowing and profitable, I use him exclusively.

Took my stock 27hp kohler heads and turned my motor in to a compression monster. Port, polished, decked and a valve job. Price was very fair. Quick return of parts. I will be returning. One of the most dishonest, unprofessional shops around. Its been a while of having done business with Craig and his Team, every time Im reminded of the horrible experience I remind myself to post a review.After multiple requests to address oil leaks on a supposedly rebuilt engine we had no option but to let someone else rebuild, the results were jaw dropping, it wasnt anything we ever expected from someone like Craig. We had some fair experiences here before, the one before this one was poor but this one left me saying why did they and how could they. They did some things that if I were to post details one would think Im just making this up. Hopefully it wasnt him maybe his workers but very poor work. And what a frustrating experience. Didnt want to argue much, had someone else rebuild and they couldnt believe this was done at Craigs.People becareful to fall into traps of getting this and that cheap and quick from this business making it sound like theyre helping you. Its pretty hard for you to see what goes on inside these engines since you are not going to break it down to inspect it. I really didnt want to write this review but I had to. If you use Craig - ask about were he stands on his work having oil leak issues, because after its in your hands he will come up with all different ways to justify his work. Ask questions also ask to see your engine while they are working on it. Good luck

Have taken multiple Japanese specific heads and blocks here and they have done phenomenal work. Would 100% recommend.

Awesome work and great advice

Just received my 383... Paint job is perfect, flange surfaces are straight and clean, no huge blobs of Permatex, no chips/cracks/scrapes, hardware and gaskets are fresh and better than factory standard. The engine looks great, just wish I had more free time to pile it in my car and fire it up sooner! I think the price paid was really fair (compare him to Jegs or Summit), and I like knowing my money went to local people. Craig swears by his work. Also, a good connection for speed parts youd have to go to Jegs or Summit for. If youre in town and thinking about a motor, you should go by the shop and talk to the guy.
