First time going to this place. And they treat you like family. Me being a restaurant owner. Felt like it was time to carry. A gentleman named Nelson. Helped us there,really friendly felt like if I known him for years. Me being First time to talk about guns he made me feel comfortable and not outside the leage. he explained so much things from how to handle a gun,choose the correct gun & shows all the safety procedures. Highly recommend. Then again he told me if he wasnt around he recommend me to this Yung lady and another gentleman that where there. That speaks highly about there passion about teaching others as a team.

A decent place to shoot. The staff is friendly, and they will let you shoot’s endlessly with no time limit. They recently increase their prices by about a third bringing them to just below the rate of basically everyone else. Surprisingly, they still have plenty of ammo for sale if you keep finding empty shelves at other places.

Great indoor range. Shot at all of the big box indoor gun ranges in the Houston area. And this one is on par with all of them. Great range and viewing of all ranges are viewable from the lobby. Great staff and welcoming environment!Will come again.

Been coming here for 10+ years. Never had a complaint. People there are always a pleasure to deal with. Only complaint is theyve raised their prices compared to when I first started going, but given everything thats going on, its understandable.

I cant say enough about this place I have not been there for four and a half years since I qualified for my CHL they treated me like I had been there yesterday they have everything you could possibly want in a Range very good Power reels very well protected Clips to hold your Target in case of a bad shot almost indestructible and the people well I cant say enough about them theyre very nice very pleasing to talk to and very helpful would recommend this range to any of my friends and all of my friends😎

Great place! Clean, organized, friendly staff! There is a gunsmith on staff, and they have been around for 30 years, so you know they will be around when you need anything.

Absolutely love this range. Great prices the best knowledgable staff. Took my girlfriend and I with our brand new pistols in. Met and talked with Nelson and James. We took the quick $10 basics course before heading in as it was my girls first time shooting. Nelson (short guy with the ponytail who was absolutely amazing) went over everything from proper way to hold the gun to loading and aiming with the correct stance. She agreed it was well worth the $10. At the end he even showed her how to take apart her handgun and clean it! We were incredibly pleased with our experience. We will be returning to take the fundamentals and the LTC classes they offer. Glad I found this place!

Been going to this range for a few years now. I have always had good experiences at this place. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and range has good ventilation. They are a no bs range and they do enforce the rules so dont expect to get away with being dumb/dangerous with your firearms. Always practice common sense when it comes to firearms and any questions or concerns can be answered by the staff.

If I could give more stars I would! The gentleman working was so incredibly awesome and informative. He knew everything about everything and was happy to teach him proper stance along with anything else we needed help with. Also, they were open later than most other ranges Ive been to which was cool. Ill definitely be going back. Soon!

Took the LTC class with Mr, Glen Ekstrom. He was an awesome instructor. The overall establishment was great, the workers were all very friendly and professional. This will be my go to indoor range. Thank all of you guys!

First time here with my 10 year old, Nelson was teaching a woman how to hold a handgun, he noticed my son paying attention and called him over, pretty much gave him a little class on how to stand, hold, aim, etc... Thanks Nelson.

What an awesome experince. I cant say enough about the Hospitality and Customer Service. Nelson is amazing and extremely helpful. Nelson and the other staff really set this range apart from the others. We had a large party and we were greeted with a smile and a suberb safety briefing. Ammo was priced under market. Targets were great. Reserved lanes (for our large party). And the customer service was over the top and unmatched anywhere else. Just an all around awesome experience thanks to Nelson and the staff. I highly recommend Marksman and is my go-to range for practice and ammo.

This range is a really safe and affordable option! The staff are really personable and immediately put you at ease. The range fee is also really reasonable, especially since it covers the entire day! The only negative I can think of was that the range itself was rather hot, but it was easy enough to go to the lobby to cool down for a few moments whenever I needed to (that could just be me, though!). I’ll definitely be back in the future (especially since women shoot for free on Mondays!)!EDIT: Ive since been to this range roughly 10 times since my first review, and havent felt nearly as warm, so Im just going to blame the weather on my first visit and not the range!

We went on Sunday afternoon so it was crowded. It is a nice firearms range. I liked it, but it was mainly my wife and daughter shooting and that worked out well. I dont get to get them to a range very often.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this range. The staff was very friendly, range fees and ammo had a decent price. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. I will definitely return to this range.

Really Great and Friendly Staff. Nelson and the staff are very skilled at assisting with issues and resolving them. Nelson very knowledgeable about firearms and can provide information on just about anything. Just realize that this is a Gun Range and stupid behavior will not tolerated by the staff. Keeping everyone safe from firearms misshapes is a stressful job and patrons need to show as much respect to the staff as they do show shooters. Proper gun safety should be practiced at all times, whether the firearm is loaded or not, and follow the Firearm Safety Rules that are posted on the door before entering. Also customs can buy, sell, and trade firearms at this location. They even have rental firearms, which allows you to test some firearms before you buy one.

This is a great place and worth the drive for me. The employees are friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. I took my sister for her first visit today. My wife was with me and an instructor saw their deer in the headlights look; he offered to teach them some basics. Thats the kind of service I drive from Pearland for. This is my favorite Range, as well as firearm dealer. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend this place if youre a beginner, novice, or even an expert shooter. Jason saw to it that my firearm was disassembled, cleaned, and put together in a timely fashion.

I have shot at ranges all over the world for the past 30 years. And this is one of the best indoor ranges I have ever visited. Very comfortable place to shoot. They didnt have a wannabe Marine RSO breathing down everyones neck. But still extremity safe and well laid out and clean. Staff is very friendly and actually have conversation skills! I live about 45 miles away, but well worth my drive. I have zero complaints.

Its been about five years since I visited Marksman, and Im pleased to say they have really invested in their facility and employees. Its cleaner, brighter, and in better repair than ever. The employees we interacted with were friendly, professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We had a great time visiting this week and we will be back more often.

This was my very first time going to a gun range. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me pick out ammunition, ez loader, cleaning equipment and a carrying case. The selection of firearms for sale was exquisite. They had guns that I cant find at hunting stores. The restroom were clean as well. Big plus in my book.thanks for the amazing time!!!

Note to OWNERIf you wonder why your business maybe not be doing as well as it couldlet me make a suggestion to teach your manager, who introduced himself as NELSON & the others..... what talking to people as opposed to talking down to them, means and how it conveys the message of appreciating their business and keep from loosing customers.If I break a range rule, which incidentally is not on your waiver, which people have to sign first; then come tell me to stop doing it, in a way you would want to be talked to.....rather than come yell/scream at me.NELSON would rather quote penal code, than admit the lack of people/communication skills at hand in the range saftey officer andactually admits to taking his side over listening to the customers point of view.You pay him to give this image to the public on your behalf ?!

A great place for a first time shooter. Friendly and helpful staff. They helped me fight a light that fit my handgun and even put it on for me. Aslo one of the only places in town you can find ammo. Will visit again soon.

I hope I didnt give a bad representation of Marksman because I didnt mean to. The staff is great, my less than 5 Stars rating is because you guys dont have an adequate enough backstop for me to fire my AR and 5.56 or 2.23 rds. In turn I have to drive past you to League City and that sucks.

I went there to learn how to shoot. I also took the LTC class there. I took the class with Nelson. He totally rocks!!!! He is extremely helpful, too. I just bought a new gun and he is going to help me learn how to use it.

@Albert Leal, I am the guy that complained to him, since he is the range manager/officer, I complained, because YOU and your brother were flagging (pointing your gun) at pretty much everyone else that were shooting, and you couldnt accept the fact that yall had screwed up, he is super nice, until some idiot decides to be unsafe and try to treat guns like they are toys, sorry if you cant read, since the rules are written in big letters at the entrance of the range, and on the waiver that you signed, stop trying to play a victim and man up, accept the fact that you messed up, and stop trying to use big words, you cant...

Excellent range with friendly staff that are knowledgeable and inviting. Will be back as they are working on improving some aspects of the range (as of right now no rentals, and I was told they are going to reinforce the backwall in the near future).

I loved the range but sadly due to my own faulty magazine which made me bleed, had to leave after just firing off 6 measly shots. I came protected that day cause of the Covid-19 stuff but wasnt protecting my fingers. Next time Ill bring a magazine reloader. I picked up a good Taurus G2C and everyone was very nice and I see why people come there in groups cause you are treated like a friend. Will definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this place. By far it is the best range i have been to. The staff are all great people with amazing personalities. Nelson is the Best instructor that I have come across so if you want to practice or take a LTC class I Highly recommend Marksman indoor Gun Range. Ask for The next Ltc class held by Nelson you would be happy you did.

Our favorite indoor range. Employees are very nice, and very helpful. I brought my brand new Beretta to shoot for the first time, and it wouldnt shoot. They did a pen test on it, added some oil, and it was shooting beautifully. Fantastic service. Thanks guys.

The best range I have been too. First of all. Follow the rules. READ THE RULES IF YOU DONT KNOW. dont complain if you didnt read them. All the staff is super helpful. Nelson (the gentleman with the ponytail), he was super helpful and patient. Had malfunctions with my firearms and he helped solve them and explain why it happened. Heed everything without a problem. If its your first time to a range, I highly recommend coming here. Restrooms are also very clean and nice. Might be a slight wait but its definitely worth it.

I was raised with a healthy respect for guns, but never knew much about them. I had never been to a range before. But this place is great. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was very comfortable asking questions. It has become my go to. In fact, when my teenage daughter asked to learn how to shoot, staff member Angela was there to get her started. I love this place!

Yesterday was my first time ever going to a gun range. The lounge was nice and cold, snacks and drink machines, comfy couches and good TV. The employees are NICE! I mean very nice, helpful and courteous. Be careful and follow the rules which are posted everywhere and you’ll have no problems. Safety is a top priority! The range itself was a hot box. Be prepared to sweat in the summer. You can rent or buy guns, buy ammo and you can borrow goggles and earphones for your protection. Ten bucks gets you all day for a handgun, 12 for a shotgun. The place is busy but waiting in the lounge was just fine. It’s a long drive for me but I will be back!

Honestly the best Shooting Range I have been to. This range was my first range to have ever shot my first gun and to qualifying for my police academy course. The staff is very helpful, for one Mr. Nelson a will assist you with anything from the register to the range. Nelson takes the time to teach you and instruct you before you enter the range if you have any doubts. Plus the fact he also checks the range field frequently for any horse playing or misconduct on the range. Once again the staff is awesome, ms. Sofia is also very helpful with assisting my wife as well. making her feel welcomed and prepping her for her first experience in shooting. Paul is very educated as well, very awesome gunsmith from the times he has assisted me. Overall this range is the best Ive known, where they dont mind leaving the counter to go assist you in helping you from your stands to your grips, thank you Marksman indoor range.....

This place is great for first time shooters just let them know and they will do a demonstration for you. They have strict saftey rules for good reason so pay attention and abide by those rules!

One of my favorite places to punch paper. Youd be hard pressed to find an indoor range with friendlier hours or pricing. The folks working here are helpful and friendly, and are genuinely glad to have you visit their business. As far as I know it is pistol and shotgun only, but I could be wrong about that. Give them a call and they can get you squared away.

We had a group of 10 people going today and we had a good time. Nelson took us through training first to ensure we all follow Safety rules - which is very important. Give us some good tips! It was a great experience and we are planning to go often. I am very thankful that they are safety oriented.

Marksman indoor range is usually my first choice to go whenever I need anything because the staff is helpful and the range is great. But today I just felt really discriminated against, i purchased a new gun and wanted to come test it out make sure everything working properly. so I walk in say hi to the employees as they are familiar faces. I ask for a box of ammo and some extended mags for my new gun, as Im checking out and getting ready to pay for my ammo/mags and my entrance fee the lady at the counter ask for my ID soon as I give it to her she says nope I will not be allowing you to shoot in our range when I asked why not she said its because I smell like marijuana, I proceeded to tell her I own a smoke shop and am exposed to smoke/insence all day and that I promise Im not under the influence. She said I couldnt shoot regardless. So Im like ok well Ill just take the ammo and the mags and be on my way, then they tell me they cannot sell me the ammo neither. At this point I just felt like the 30 minute drive to come out and support one of my favorite businesses was for absolutely nothing. I feel like it was really just discrimination because none of the other employees said anything about a marijuana smell up until she accused me of it. Im a regular and love coming out to marksman but after todays experience I might just have to look for a new range. One things for sure if your coming out to shoot guns at marksman you must shower and smell clean before walking in or you wont be allowed to shoot 😭🤣 (update) your right 😅

This is a really good place to go to. Always come here whenever I get a chance especially if I have a question, I always go to Nelson. He will always help you no matter what question you have and he is really really good. If you dont know how to use a gun he will take you step-by-step and will answer every one of your questions and believe this when I say it he is really really good so ask for him if you need any help. Everyone working there is a good team, always knowing what to do if something goes wrong and will never not help you.

Glen was my teacher for the class part and written test and was very thorough! I would highly recommend to take ltc here or just come in and shoot. 👍

Hey, we are tourists from Germany. The guy Nelson in there is super professional. He explained everything about shooting a gun in detail. Super friendly and helpful people. Went there for the first time. Very friendly staff. They had good answering for questions that I had with details. Never been to an indoor range. But for my first time it was good. Good range fee with eye and ear protection included with a nice selection of targets. A little pricey on target ammo but other than that I really enjoyed it.

Excellent price - 10/day for pistols 12 if youre shooting shotgun. Targets are like a dollar. Nice lounge. Ammo prices closely match big box stores. Knowledgeable, professional staff. Spacious lane with personal cable controls. Range extends to about 18yards. Going back here to take my CHL course. One down side is that its busy, but you can see why. We got there when they opened (Sunday) so there was no wait, but a few were waiting on our way out. I would think that on weekdays that wouldnt be a problem.
