SO GT AUTO WAS HONEST UNLIKE OTHER PLACES THEY WOULD WANT MORE MONEY BUT THEY SAVED MY BATTERY AND SAVED ME MONEY!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE CAUSE THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HONESTY WITH THERE BUSINESS!!! I WILL BE BRINGING MY VEHICLES HERE FROM NOW ON!!!!!

Prices for the non-specialty work requested were quite high. More than a like manufacturer dealership (which is why I took it there. I assumed and paid the price). I was also disappointed in the lack of service advice regarding one aspect of the work. This lead to needless work and cost. Just do your homework first.

They were very friendly and got us in quickly even though they were super busy. I felt the price was fair and the completion time was awesome. We will definitely use them again!

They were very friendly and faster than what I thought. I had them inspect my car to see what repairs it needed. There was alot… one that really bothered me was my clutch was going out and instead of repairing it or anything they wanted to put an automatic used trani in with no warranty… my car is a manual if some of you didn’t catch that. There’s a lot more to it than just swapping those transmissions. Also not something I wanted. I took it to another machine for a second opinion and they gave me a completely different price almost 1,200!!! Less alone for labor and parts… also. I just needed a clutch not an entire transmission.

I came in because my oil light came on at the beginning of a long return trip. Not knowing the area, I was concerned about going to an unknown mechanic but my concerns were quickly put at ease. They quickly diagnosed the issue, at a reasonable price, and gave a detailed explanation about the problem and a few other minor issues that they didnt push for repairs. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need and were transparent and honest. I am very glad that I had the problem occur near their shop and the trip back home went fine. I recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

My car’s AC went out during very hot days. GT was able to get right on it and had it repaired promptly. It came in at the quoted price and communication was excellent.

This place is a joke! I called specifically to ask if they would work on a rebuild title car, they said yes! No problem. I took it in for both o2 sensors to be replaced in my WRX. Almost 2 weeks later, my check engine light came on again for the o2 sensor again! I take it in and they start telling me there are leaves in the undercarriage. No kidding? We live in a state with trees. It’s a low profile car. Nonetheless what does that have to do with the sensor? They have my car for less than 2 hours and tell me it’s fine and they can’t do anything more with it. I pick it up, check engine light still on. Take it to another shop, diagnosis says...”found drive cycle code, improper clearing occurred at previous shop, cleared history and test drove to properly clear codes.” I had already paid over $950 to have the sensors replaced....and now I had to pay additionally to get the job finished. I read reviews to select GT Automotive and I regret not listening to the bad reviews. Never again!! They literally quoted me one price, called later and said oh sorry it’s gonna be $100 more and then couldn’t even finish the job?? Extremely disappointed in the mechanics and business ethics of this company.

I was looking for a new mechanic after my previous one retired, and these guys did amazing! I was able to walk in with no appointment to get my check engine light diagnosed and dropped it off no problem. Their services were quick and they called me to keep me updated every step of the way. They were even kind enough to cover the cost for a part that broke during their the repairs! I will definitely be coming back here for all of my future repairs and maintenance needs.

I had a very favorable experience at GR Automotive. They diagnosed several problems with my car and even went over the list telling me the priorities that needed to be fixed first and what I could do to get by with the problems I had as long as I didn’t drive too many miles at once. They fixed my brakes in an hour and 1/2, even replacing the rotors. I was very grateful for the attention they gave to service my vehicle and I will be back and very definitely would recommend to a friend.

This is one of the best places to wait. Free popcorn, like Les Schwab except they actually refill it when its out, free drink vending machine, free coffee and hot chocolate, free wifi, free air fresheners, charging station, aquarium and child area. The employees were all nice, the speed of the oil change was fast. I went because of a coupon Ill be returning because of the experience.

Had the 100k service done on my Acura MDX. The team was very easy to work with. Easy to schedule and the work was done on time at the price quoted. My Subaru Outback appeared to have a small engine oil.leak. GT checked everything and noted no engine problem, just residual oil from a previous repair. Totally honest repair facility. Trust is everything. GT Automotive not only means expert repair service, but trust.

Me and my brother blew our tire on our business work truck about a mile from this business. We had to drive on the tire and rim looking for a tire repair shop and could not make it any further. We stopped at GT Automotive and they told us they didnt provide tire services anymore. My brother and I asked someone to give us a ride to victors tires to get the tire. We got back and asked An employee at the front desk of GT if they could put it on. This gentleman very rude...said there was nothing he could do...we didnt know what to do...a employee named Kerwin gladly said he could help us out with his services. Thank u Kerwin! A very honest and competitively price automotive shop. I rarely rate any company but this event stood out and I felt the need to share my experience.I went in with the anticipation of needing a new alternator (about a $460 repair job) Nate, the manager, knew the test done at auto zone said the alternatoe was bad with a dead diode) and he quoted me the price. He called us back after looking at it and determined it was just a bad battery. Saved us over $300 and once again showed their honesty. They also had it completed in record time. Two thumbs up.

Called Paul and got an appointment for the next morning. Dropped car off and they found the alignment issue. Tie rod... and a rusty bolt in back of an all wheel drive Chrysler 300. Wheel alignment, tire rotation, and tie rod repair was $278.

Really nice guys! It was the end of the day and I brought a car I was thinking about purchasing to see if they could do an inspection. They didnt have time but they were willing to run a code for me since the check engine light was on and didnt even charge me. Super helpful!

GT automotive diagnosed the problem with my brakes. They were able to quickly make the repair and did a good job of restoring my brakes to excellent condition. Their charges were very reasonable and they had great service and I trust them. I have use them a number of times and have always been satisfied with their work.

Have been going there for a number of years. Took my car in and they wanted nearly $2,000 to complete it. Called the dealership and they are half the price. Told them we have been long time customers and Darrell could have cared less. Asked if they could do anything on the price and he was very quick to say NO. Disappointed with this experience and will NEVER go back!

My first visit here I didnt have much time, but their time frame was just enough to for me to fit in. After they started my wife called me saying I had less time than I originally planned. I asked the employee if there was anything he could do to get my oil changed and skip the other services to get me out of there faster. He said yes and as I walked back inside the building I heard the employee urge his team to move quickly and tell them that we got to get this one through fast!. He cared and was still able to do a few extras for me that are a normal part of the service. For a first timer I was very impressed!

A friend told me to go to GT automotive. They got my car in quick, we’re honest about the issue and fixed it. Even gave me a ride home when it was in the shop. Being a woman I don’t trust many auto shops due to people in the past trying to take advantage of me. So it was nice having them be so professional and feeling like I can trust them. I was having trouble with my radiator and it finally put me into a critical situation that needed attention immediately! Having just moved to the area of Draper I was unfamiliar with auto repair shops close to me so I quickly called several that were close. Couldnt find anyone that could look at it so I was desperate. Took a chance and it turned out great! They got me in immediately and explained everything that I needed to done with a firm quote. I have gone there for many years and they are normally great. I recently had a bad situation with one of the employees. The manager corrected it well. It seems that employee has had repeated issues. Would of given 5 stars if that wasnt the case.

But after this last round of repairs, I will never again take my personal or work vehicles to GT again. After being serviced, both my work & personal car were worse than before. Both of them have been in since several times to correct the new issues they caused with no avail. So if your thinking about getting your vehicle serviced here, DONT! Theyll take care of whatever you needed fixed & create a dozen more problems, then blame you for the problems they created. Dont waste your time, go someplace else.

This is the only place I will bring my car. Fair prices even against doing things myself and picking up parts at OReillys or Auto Zone. Customer service is top notch and they dont hire dishonest techs or mechanics, and they do good work. They know the value in being upfront and honest. They let me know I could go awhile longer before changing my breaks when another tried to tell me I was in the red zone and needed to change them right away, among other things I knew was a total bull. Theyre definitely the best overall.

Awesome service, great people too. I came in to get my oil changed, and after talking with the staff it brought up the problem with my other vehicle. Instead of them asking me to bring it in, they told me that they are certain it was the battery. Other companies told me it was the alternator or the starter. I changed the battery and it took care of the problem. I feel they had my best interest in mind and definitely took care of me. Ill be a lifer with these guys!

I had a great experience with GT Automotive. I brought my car in because the radiator was leaking, and they had it fixed the next day. When I arrived to pick it up, they found an issue with my hood not closing properly. They took the extra time to make sure that it was fixed before returning my car to me. A lot of shops would just overlook that. I appreciate the professionalism and attention to detail very much!

GT automotive is awesome!! I took my car there a few months ago because there was a weird sound when I’d drive it. They diagnosed that one of my wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Those are pretty expensive so I decided to get another opinion and quote. I took it to another place and they said it was my breaks even after telling them it might be the wheel bearing. Long story short, they ended up replacing my breaks even though the sound was still there after changing them. So it was actually the wheel bearing all along. What a nightmare, I should have just stayed with GT automotive in the first place! Also GT’s customer service is great too! They also didn’t charge me when they diagnosed it because that’s how awesome they are! I won’t take my car anywhere else!

Stopped in on a Monday. Staff we’re upbeat and ready to get my car looked at. Took about 45 minutes to get an inspection and renewal. On top of an oil change as well. Staff was knowledgeable and answered all the questions I could throw their way. Will definitely be returning.

I called on a Monday around noon and they said they could take a look at my car at 4. I brought it in and they couldn’t look at it then. I brought it in the next morning, Tuesday, around 10am. They said it’d take around 2 hours and they’d give me a call. I waited until 4 with no phone call before driving back up there to find out the status of my car. They told me that it’d be done first thing Wednesday morning and they’d call me. I waited all day Wednesday for a phone call and none came. By the time I decided to call them, they were already closed. My two hours had turned into over 2 days. I then drove up there on Thursday morning and they said that they had it done Wednesday morning and just didn’t call me. Not sure why not. The mechanics were very nice and the store environment was awesome, but I didn’t like being promised 2 hours and having it take 3 days.

This place just saved me $40K! My wife was considering trading in our older Outback but after GT got it all tuned up we are ready for another 115000 miles. Kyle and the crew of mechanics are exceptional.
