Loved visiting this place. Went on Wednesday to play casual commander mtg. Very helpful staff 👏 very great atmosphere with comfty chairs to sit in at large tables. Great dice selection as well as miniatures and painting supplies that you can actually paint them there as well. Good selection of snacks too and nearby great eaterys like zupas 👍 3 different bathrooms and a private room that can be rented out. Lots of board game selection as well. Could only use more single card selection in store for sale.

Beautiful, clean, modern, and big game store. This is one of the nicest game stores I’ve ever seen. Great selection of games. Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Polite and knowledgeable staff. This is NOT your typical dark, weird, smelly, nerdy game store. I highly recommend this place for buying games and general gaming (comfortable gaming chairs and tables are a nice touch).

As a new resident of Utah, I was on the hunt for a new shop to satisfy my hobby needs. I predominantly used to play MTG and other group oriented games - but have limited experience with board games.Upon walking in I was welcomed by a super helpful individual named Ivie. I mentioned that I was new to the area and looking for a solo capable board game. Ivie made me feel welcome within the first minute of us talking and helped facilitate my dive into the board game world. I was instructed about Mythos’ weekly gaming events and local communities that were strong in surrounding areas. I felt like I had hit the jackpot finding this store and having such a nice, and knowledge, conversation with Ivie.I can’t say enough good things about this place. I didn’t feel pressured about any specific purchases, I was led to a product that was catered to my interests, and learned so much in a short time. If you have any gaming needs, this should definitely be at the top of your list.

Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, clean store and awesome events. I love how nice they keep the place and unlike a lot of gaming stores it does not smell of my fellow nerds. Another thing I have noticed is that every time I come in there are females present in the store. That speaks a lot to the kind of space that they are keeping. I highly recommend these guys.

The best game store around and they have the best rewards program of any game store in the whole world! Trust me come by and play some games they have to try for free. Snacks and drinks and tons of new and classic games to take home. They even have game rental here too.

All the staff is super friendly and helpful. We had just started getting into D&D and they explained everything and didn’t try to get us to buy a bunch of extra stuff, (we did anyway, cause their stock is fire). Always willing to give advice and tips to new players and a very fun area to go and play games and hangout. It’s extremely clean in there, everything is beautifully displayed and presented. Very professional. Best game store I’ve ever been in.

Used to be one of our favorite places to go to order new pokemon items. With the most recent launch we got completely skipped over and then not contacted at all by anyone who could answer why it happened. My warning would be if you pre-order anything their list appears to not be first come first served. Unfortunate because my husband and I loved helping a smaller local store. Unfortunately we wont be back.

The selection isnt huge but its GOOD! The shelves arent filled with nonsense like you see in other local game stores. And the staff! Never felt more welcome in any store anywhere than I did when I went to Muthos. Theyre also the most knowledgeable of anywhere Ive ever been. I feel most game store staff know nothing but Magic the Gathering and look at you like you kicked a puppy when you ask about anything else. Not here though. Definitely in my top 3 of game stores in all of Utah.

Was looking around for a game called Ligretto which is surprisingly hard to find online for normal MSRP price. Saw that they could have some and stopped in for the first time. Was not disappointed! They had the games I needed and there were so many games you could try for free while you are there. Will definitely be back!

The store was incredible well put together, and both the staff and the regulars are super nice. I stopped by to play some games from out of town, and both the store employees and the customers were very welcoming.

I frequent a lot of game stores. These guys are by far the most best I have seen. They have next level service, are inclusive and supportive of everyone that comes to the shop, keep things very clean and organized, and are very polite and responsive.I went in looking for some odds and ends and instead of just showing me what they had, they went out of their way to help me find exactly what I needed.They were also super interactive with my young daughter and treated her like a real gamer and not just like a kid in their store. I will definitely be back again and again!

I love this game shop! I think its one of the best ones in the valley. Theyve got a great selection of board games and collectible miniatures as well as collectible card games. They have a good selection of role-playing games and their new rentable room is awesome. I would recommend that everyone in the valley and in Utah valley come up and try it out.What a great game store! Whenever I am going to purchase anything from my friendly local game store, that game store of choice is Mythos Games. I love that they opened up their space to allow for my ACE Roleplaying Games teen role playing game group to be able to meet their weekly and spend some good quality time together as a group. And I know that when they start getting money, when they start buying games, they will buy them from Mythos.I love that I can run the once a month grown up game there as well. I love their stock of board games. I love their loaner board games. I love that they sponsor all sorts of great collectible card game tournaments. I love their stock of collectible card games as well. I look forward to the times that I spend there when Im speaking to their staff who might count as my friends.I would genuinely recommend that if you are looking for any sort of a game whether it be a board game, a collectible card game, or a roleplaying game like D&D or Savage Worlds, or accessories for those games (including their great wall of dice) that you first check out the stock at Mythos Games and get to know the friendly staff. If they dont have it, they can order it in for you. Then come join in the fun in the communities that they offer.

Their selection for D&D and Magic The Gathering is fantastic, and the staff is very helpful and sweet. This is the place that I recommend for everyone, especially woman. They had so many games! I was very impressed by their inventory. The staff (Alton?) was very helpful and personable. The store has a great atmosphere that was inviting for all types of game players. It wasn’t exclusive to D&D players which I really appreciated.It was also super clean and well organized.

I went here initially trying to get Pokemon product, unfortunately like most places the only way you will get product is if you preorder or rather get put on their preorder list, which is totally understandable. Staff is knowledgable and friendly, and Ive been able to get a ton of stuff ordered and paid MSRP for it. Definitely recommend giving these guys a visit!

I’m so glad that a real board game shop opened in the southwest of the valley. Beautiful, spacious interior with tables and large seats. Good game selection and Andrew was very nice and helpful. Can’t wait to come back to play and buy more games.

Great place for all kinds of games

Interesting little shop. Game selection isnt large but the area to play games is. Seems to be missing that quaint and cozy mothers basement feel Ive grown to enjoy at other shops. But after the new wears off and a few dungeon raids later Im sure itll be just like home.

Have been looking for Pokémon cards and frequent some other shops, but everyone has been out of stock for a while and the new expansion sold quick. Saw these guys on Google maps and decided to check them out because I hadnt seem them before. Was impressed buy the store and the staff. Didnt getting the guys name that helped me, but he was great! He greeted me promptly, asked if I had been in before, and what I was games I was into. I told him Pokémon and Magic. He showed me where I could find what I was looking for and let me browse the store. Once I finished he rang up my items and let me know of some of the events they held. The customer service alone has won over my business and I will be coming back for more!

Great staff. Fantastic, open space. I think there could be somewhere for some drinks and food but they are around plenty of places for you to order food and drinks. Wish I could give them a 6/5

We were welcomed very kindly, treated nicely, informed about game nights, deals,raffles, and helpful additions to the game we bought, and all-in-all made to feel very welcome. They have found themselves a regular customer.

The salesman was very well informed about each of the games in the store and was able to help us find exactly what we were looking for. They also had a VERY wide selection of games and I was happy to see many games that I had not heard of or played before.

Most game stores are basically the same. The only choice is Do they host (insert my game) there? Mythos instead lets you choose a place that has an ambiance a step above the other stores. Very nice environment to play games, and they have demos.

Seems like a really cool new store. They have a great big selection so far, and really friendly help. It would honestly have been 5 stars but I felt a little unsafe with the staff only wearing a face shield. I will definitely be back, but it will likely be sparing while covid is still as bad as it is.

Best gaming store around

I’ve been inside the store about twice already to play some mtg and I love it. The seats are actually super comfy and no plastic chairs!!! They have good selection but don’t expect to find every card that you need since they are a new store these things come with time. The staff was very helpful and had the answers to my questions.To be honest this is the most beautiful store in the valley it is super clean and organized (no random piles of cards). I really wish them the best of luck.There is one thing that would be amazing. Have a small cafe, that is what will make people want to stay and make it their LGS. Serve coffee, sandwiches, and even ramen cups those things go a long way, since chips can only do so much. Because most people are going to spend +2 hours playing and we get hungry but don’t want to leave.

Extremely pleased with Mythos Games. A great atmosphere to play games with friends. Upon entering the store you can tell the owners have a passion for the industry and put their heart into Mythos games. If you love casual commander games this place is for you. Ill definitely be coming back.

Editing to add a comment that should have posted with my rating:This absolute gem of a shop is super easy to get to and has accessible hours, the store layout is well-organized between different types of games, and the selection and prices are fantastic. Prices are on par with Amazon so save yourself the hassle of waiting Amazon to deliver a game that will likely get damaged in transit or stolen by porch pirates and buy directly from a local small business owner.Staff was super personable and helpful and didnt even judge me for waffling for ten straight minutes about which dice set to get my wife for Christmas! Theres different game nights they host as well (with COVID precautions) where you can come in and try out some of the games they have for sale, or organize a session of a table top RPG like Dungeons and dragons or Pathfinder or any number of other TTRPG systems. In addition, they have a good selection of minis and paints and terrain tiles to get your TTRPG game started in style!

This newer game store has an open layout and a lot of play space really going for it and it seems to really be a good store for ttrpg players. They also have a lot of Infinity and Star Wars Legion stock, which is interesting, but no Warhammer. If you play MTG, Pokemon, or Yu-gi-oh you will find decent support here but not a lot of product. As for board games, there are a good number of shelves and you should be able to get any popular game as well as a lot of new experiences.Another thing that sets this store apart is it seems to stock some 3-D printed and laser-cut gaming accessories like terrain and dice towers. The workers told me they are also willing to dabble in more unique products like that if they do well.All-in-all, while less specialized than other stores, Mythos is a great store for a group wanting to start their own community and in need of a lot of play space. As the store is around longer we will see how it fleshes itself out.
