Delicious bagels and sandwiches. I like to build my own hot pastrami or corned beef sandwich. Always fresh. They offer a wide array of cold drinks and coffees too.

Hubby and I are in Tahoe fulfilling a last wish for Mom. This morning we decided to try Tahoe Bagel Company for breakfast. They advertise it is owned by two Jersey Boys. So where else should a Jersey girl go? Yummy!! Bagel and lox with dark roast coffee. In heaven!!! In Tahoe, come here for breakfast or lunch. They even have Taylor Ham!! Its a Jersey thing.

Yummy bagels, soft inside chewy outside. Got a dozen and cream cheese and the family loved them. You don’t see Egg Everything bagels very often. Happy friendly staff as well.

This place is incredible and delicious. Melissa and Justin and the rest of the crew are all great. The Lox cream cheese spread is insane put it on everything and you cant lose.

This place has an amazing selection for bagels, it was a quick walk from my Hotel. The coffee was brewed fresh and the bagels are made daily. Ask for the specials! I loved the little bar seating. Had a nice local crowd and feel to it.

I want to give them a higher score, but here is why a 3 was given, instead of what they could are capable of receiving (imho).Im on vacation here in Tahoe with my wife and we ate here twice. Both times we went our food was great...once we finally got it. They even have reasonable prices. Where this establishment falls short is organization and cleanliness. The ticket system seems like it should work, yet on both days we saw multiple orders get lost or incorrectly handed out. And on both days that we went, the dining room (if you are going to allow indoor dining) definitely needed attention. Lastly, a couple of the food handlers need a refresher on some best-practices. Touching your face while expediting food and sampling bacon as you cook...This isnt a big complaint or rant about a horrible experience we had - just a reflection. Ive definitely had worse and still returned. I would encourage others to give this place a try and make their own decisions. Like I said, theres potential here.

This place has a very nice, modern aesthetic. I got a breakfast bagel sandwich. The bagel was perfectly toasted and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Although, overall, I found my sandwich to be a bit bland. I expected a fried egg since that’s what the menu says but it was more like scrambled but flat for like an omelette (know what I mean?). The staff was friendly; they said hello and goodbye, which I appreciate from a business. I could tell the cashier was smiling from behind her mask. I would return here to have some more bagels.

Been a local since 1990 and spent a little over two weeks away from Tahoe due to the Caldor Fire/having to evacuate. I was thrilled to see this place open as I wanted to make sure I supported local business. I was disappointed to say the least due to the poor customer service. The breakfast bagel was delicious, but I will not be supporting a business who doesn’t treat people kindly. This is a very delicate time for people as we return to our homes and lives.Do better!

Very busy place (understandably) but still great service. The egg and cheese bagel was so good we went back multiple times while vacationing in Tahoe. The coffee is also really good! Highly recommend the iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Will definitely be back! Tip: order online ahead of time.

Great breakfast/lunch restaurant! The bagel offerings varied and fresh and sandwiches choices filling and well made. Coffee and drinks were good. Seating was very comfortable for those who wanted to sit inside although they did a big take-out business! Very popular.

YES!!! Cant even tell you how excited I am to have real bagels here in Tahoe, I got a dozen bagels to take home so Im eating one a day and so far I cant pick a favorite. The good thing is that I can easily eat a bagel for every meal so it wont take long to figure out which one is the best. Lets be honest they are all the best. Yummm

Food is great but Im petty and they made me wait 30 minutes inside for an online order that said 10 minutes for it to be ready. And then Tattoos and Stoner in a hat both staring me down without even asking if Im waiting on something. Mind you I already told the lady at the register who I was and I was picking up an online order. After they got done serving EVERYBODY ELSE, tattoos asks if I ordered something and when I responded with yes, an online order placed 30 minutes ago, he said maybe I should tell somebody next time.

I grew up in NY. Lived in Florida for the past 10 years but I travel often. This is the best bagel place BY FAR that I’ve ever been to since a couple of my childhood favorite spots back home in NY. I was so surprised to find such a perfect bagel place in Lake Tahoe. Next time I’m here, I’m going to come here every single morning. 10 out of 10. 100 out of 100. I Highly recommended

NEW JERSEY IN THE HOUSE!!! Absolutely loved this place. This was the final stop of my 24 hours in Tahoe and this bagel shop is what made me decide I need to go back. If you know anyone from jersey, you know we have pride and this place made me feel right at home. Great service, bagels and coffee. Can’t wait to go back!

This is my first time coming to this bagel place. I ordered an Back To Life with double turkey and it came out so wonderful! I finished it so fast I went to order another one.

Outrageously good bagels. Made on site and you can watch the process. Excellent fillings. Wide choices. A little pricey but worth it.

Best place in town to grab fresh bagels. I’m a big fan of the egg everything bagel, but honestly all the bagel flavors are great and always fresh. Also really like the garlic and herb cream cheese, it taste amazing. Also recently tried a few of the lunch sandwiches and they do not disappoint. All around the food is great and all the prices are extremely fair. It’s nice to have a great bagel shop in town.

The bagels are delicious here! Chewy and soft. I had a cheese and egg sando on everything and it was fantastic. Also has some of the best coffee in SLT. Definitely recommend for breakfast.

As a native New Yorker, these are the best bagels I have had in 20 years on the west coast! These are genuine New York bagels. We also had classic Italian and Reuben sandwiches, both excellent. We will be heading to their shop frequently for a taste of my childhood. Thank you to the Bagel Guys!!

Walked in the door and, wow, smells just like a NY bagel shop! Really good bagels for a reasonable price. They serve local Black Cabin coffee, too.

The bagels are good but the service is very indifferent and slow. Also be prepared for some very angry white boy rap, playing loud.

There 2 times in last week and both times the online order was messed up.Check your orders carefully be for leaving.Customer service not the best.Dont think Ill be back.

Got a back 2 life which is supposed to have a hashbrown egg cheese and choice of meat (i got bacon) had no hashbrown or cheese on it and some scraps of bacon. I get it that it was a busy tahoe weekend but youd think they couldnt have screwed a ticket up that badly given this place a couple tries and havent ever truly been satisfied. Ive been to nj/ny and had their bagels and this sure as hell isnt it. Hope they can turn around their business sooner than later.

If you’re planning on going on the weekends, don’t order online. I had to order a couple more sandwiches when I got there. My online single sandwich order took 30 minutes. My in-person two sandwich order took 10.

I grew up in New Jersey but in my adult life, I have lived in Michigan, Florida, and California, and I have NEVER found a good bagel outside of Jersey. These guys finally ended my quest to find a good bagel outside Jersey.Tahoe Bagel company prove that you dont need to import NYC water. All you need is some jersey blood.

I grew up in Queens, then lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn as an adult. This bagel shop is 100% legit. They make an excellent bagel. So happy that this place exists in South Lake.

Ehhh. Me and my friend were pretty disappointed with our experience here. Both of us love a good bagel, and to be fair the bagels (and drinks) were pretty tasty, and that saves it from 1 star...Okay, so it cost over $30 for two breakfast sandwiches, two mochas and a 15% tip, not the end of the world, but kinda pricey for what we actually got. 😒Then it took a long time for them to make our order, we waited about 15-20 minutes before the order was finally ready, with other customers getting their orders ahead of us.When we did get our order, despite them having gotten the order right on the ticket, they somehow managed to get both our orders completely wrong; literally the only thing they got right on each of them was the kind of bagel we ordered. 😂Deciding we didn’t really want to deal with taking them back inside we settled to just eat the sandos they made us. Despite them not being at all what we ordered they were adequately tasty. And the mocha I got was pretty good too.Also, a handful of staff were wearing only gator style face coverings while working with food, and at least one employee was mask-less while chatting with their buddy, presumably on a break.

Hands down the best east coast style bagels in town. Dont waste your time with any other bagels in Tahoe. Whether you go for breakfast or lunch this stop is a must!

At last! Real bagels in Lake Tahoe. I couldn’t be happier. Well, maybe if we had a safe vaccine for Covid, but you seem to be doing everything you can to keep your customers safe while buying bagels.

Ive been waiting for a shop like this to come to Lake Tahoe for the longest time. Its not only a bagle shop but it also offers other bakery products. Occasionally they have challah bread as well as cinnamon rolls. They also sell numerous kinds of blended cream cheese and egg salad. If you are looking for bagles this is the place to go! I promise you will love their bagels!
