Excellent little mom and pop type coffee house and cafe. Great coffee and a fantastic breakfast burrito with real good fire roasted salsa. You can taste the love in each sip and bite.

This place is freaking adorable. The staff are super kind and friendly. The coffee is delicious (and I’m picky!). We got the breakfast burrito and the tropical açaí bowl. SO DELICIOUS.They also allow pups and made our guy a pup cup with whipped cream and treats.Go see them and tip well!

I ABSOLUTELY love this place! Hole in the wall wonder that needs more recognition in my opinion. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about where their coffee cane from and what kind of roast they had. Also they are PET FRIENDLY! Even your furry friend is allowed inside! Dont bother. Slowest service in all of Tahoe. They do their drinks in groups so you might wait for over a half hour like I did. You get to watch the entire place clear out as you wait for an order placed before anyone else. The sandwiches only took about 5 mins. So theres that. Theyre...ok. However, not worth the price. Im reminded of why I stopped going here a few years back. And now I stop going again. If what they had was worth the wait or the price I might reconsider. But it will be years before I give them another chance.

I mean they have dog treats here-how do you not love a place who loves dogs?! Foood was excellent, coffee was great! They have both inside and out seating, food for kids, and adults. Menu includes “smoothie bowls”, breakfast burritos, breakfast bagels, breakfast quesadillas, and baked goods! Highly recommend!

Delicious burritos, amazing chai and very friendly staff makes this place worth coming back. First discovered while in Tahoe for the first time now making it a point to always visit when here.

The coffee is good and the service is friendly about being slow. I always ask for a mocha when I go to cafes. Ive been all over the US, and this places does it the best. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet, and the espresso was done perfectly. Its a nice cozy little Cafe too, hidden in the back of a small shopping area. Breakfast burrito, and banana bread were good, with three awesome workers running the place. Nice gem of a cafe 😁

Great small Cafe conveniently located close to the Blvd

So I called in an order at about 7:05. I didnt receive my food for a full half hour after I showed up. On my receipt I was charged for extra meat, when I didnt ask for or receive extra meat. When I asked the lady about the upcharge she told me although meat is included in order it shows as an extra charge. Not cool keys cafe. (I tipped them 5 dollars too).Ive worked my entire life in customer service and as a local i am super disappointed.

Nice hot coffee on those cold morning. This place is small with a beach hut feeling about it. The workers have always been nice and reliable in terms of speed. Their coffee tastes pretty dang good too. Tried a couple of other drinks like frappacino and shakes, and they were also great. My only real complaint is that the coffee is stored in these tall thermos. I came like at 11:30 and the coffee inside the thermos was no longer hot, still good though!

Wouldnt be my first choice of a cafe and wouldnt really recommend going since Starbucks is across the street. Wanted to try something new and since it had good Google reviews I thought Id try it. All but one of the workers was relatively nice and the coffee was okay to good, depends on what you get. Though the acai bowl was pretty good. All in all, it might depend on the day it is but it was decent at best.

Pretty good coffee, food is often a hit or miss. Ive literally had oatmeal served several different ways (the first time in a bowl, the second in the container on a plate, the third just in a container). All of that would be ignored if it wasnt for the fact that the baristas like to invite their friends to hang out and have profanity laced conversations loud enough for the entire cafe to hear.

Very nice service. You can add CBD oil to your beverages which is cool if you need it. Just ordered sausage breakfast burrito and iced mocha. Both very delicious.

A fantastic find. Exactly the sort of hidden gem that you love to discover when traveling. Tucked away off the main thoroughfare, you feel like a local walking in for breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff, good coffee, and yes, delicious breakfast burrito. Its sure to be a regular stop on all our future visits to the area.

Took me back to my younger days of coffee shops in Berkeley in the 70s. Small and old but clean and eclectic. Small menu but good food at a good price.

Smoothies are great. Great home-y atmosphere. Food is meh. I dont think they ever squeeze the starch out of their potatoes, which causes a few of their breakfast meals to be unappetizing. Service is decent, no complaints.

So I always love hole in the wall and the mama papas because the eggs are cracked fresh, the food just tastes great. But this was very disappointing. I dont know how they got such high rates. The workers were very nice but the food, wow. First, the coffee was borderline cold, gave it back, reheated and still cold. The eggs, wow, they come out of a box and its microwaved. If I wanted that, I would go to McDonalds. I asked about the eggs because I wanted over medium and they said oh sorry, they cant do over medium. So my question is why didnt you say so when you were collecting the money and when I ordered. You took the order and said over medium. Then you give some microwaved boxed scrambled thing. The potatoes where microwaved. Do you know microwave does to potatoes in little pieces !!! Just dont understand why they lied when I ordered so we could go somewhere else.

I like to support our local business until their just ripping us off... Very little kitchen experience here, soggy burritos and the worst acia bowl Ive ever had. Everything is overpriced and much lower quality than the Free Bird Cafe just down the street.

Im a local here in Tahoe. The food is good but the lady at the counter is rude and not friendly at all. I will not be coming back because of her! O yeah and stay away from the chorizo burrito in less you like grease poring out.

Go regularly! Breakfast burritos are amazing. Favorite smoothie is the green dragon. Very small so if its busy it will take a minute for your stuff to be ready, but theres good music on and cool atmosphere so I dont mind the wait.

This cafe is absolutely wonderful!Some friends and I waited out a snowstorm inside Keys cafe. We enjoyed the hot chocolates immensely (both Mexican Spice and regular), as they warmed our cold and icy Soviet hearts. The egg and bacon sandwich was also exceptional.Keys cafe offers patrons delightful entertainment: blocks, puzzles, etc. We played several heartfelt games of Jenga, and before we could apologize for being paleolithic brutes, the staff thanked us for our energy and fun instead. They were attentive, patient, and helpful.Looking forward to the next blizzard so we can get stuck here again!

Was looking forward to eating here after reading positive reviews. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I waited forever for my breakfast burrito. After waiting about 20 min, I actually went in twice to ask about it. The second time, it was just sitting there getting cold. Waited over 30 min for my food. Not going back!

This is a cozy little café but you shouldnt go there if you dont want to experience slow and rude customer service as start of your day. My husband had already finished his coffee and burrito when I finally got my Acai bowl. When I asked for my coffee latte she answered in a pretty rude tone that she can only do one thing at a time. The Acai bowl was good as well as the coffee. The breakfast burrito was pretty mediocre.

I dont normally leave reviews but I had to leave one about this place because it has good reviews on Yelp and other services but this place is really bad service in the food is mediocre. Waited 45 minutes for a smoothie. Staff is rude (younge) and was no help.

Try the green tea chai with either almond or 2% milk depending on your diet. Its one of my favorites.
