It’s hard to find a good quality deer processor anymore. My brother in-law pointed me in the right direction this past year and I’m completely satisfied. It’s well worth the 45min drive from house. Just picked up my deer sausage sticks this morning and their amazing. Well worth the money for the quality you get in return. Everything is vacuumed packed and trimmed perfectly. This will be my go to spot and I will refer everyone I can. Thank you KAS !

My husband and I came last fall, first time customers. They were in the process of opening their new location. They are extremely nice and the turn around was fast. Everything tasted great and we will continue to come here. We definitely recommend them!

I dropped off a doe with KAS and will go back again but we might compare against DJ meats. Here are the pros and cons:Pros:1.) Clean processing facility2.) Located close to our home3.) Prices are reasonable and the smoked meats are goodCons:1.) I was unable to successfully contact them over email or phone2.) They are unable to age the deer meat3.) The jerky had quite a bit of hair in it4.) For a good sized doe (i.e. ~80lbs), we received 8 lbs ground, 7 lbs of steaks, and 7 lbs of sausage. That seems a little light compared to other processors we used in the past but each deer is different. I was expecting to get more ground but it wasnt clear how much was being used for the sausage.Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned above I will be coming back again and the concerns are not too concerning :). Here are some additional clarifications:1.) I did not get a reply for my email from 9/29. I also called a few times and no one answered.2.) I can age the deer myself next time, when I dropped off the deer it was going to be a week before it was ready so I incorrectly assumed it would be aged. Not a big deal at all.3.) The jerky had quite a bit of hair in it - other posts have mentioned hair. Again not a big deal but most people dont like hair in their food.4.) I did not weigh the doe, but I will do that next time. Ive attached a picture if that helps other folks. I am 510 and my pandemic weight is ~190 non-pandemic weight is ~180 :).We tried some more of the smoked meats and they are really good - bumping the review up to 4 stars.

Nice folks and what deer meat I did receive back was trimmed nicely and packaged well. Although I must say the amount of meat I received back was VERY LOW for the size deer I brought in. And I have a lot of experience in knowing what I should have received, with almost 50 deer over the years. It wasn’t even close.

I’ve been taking my deer here since I started hunting a few years ago. This is a family business that takes pride in superior customer service. I highly recommend Kasper to anyone who wishes to have high quality cuts from their harvest. They also have a TON of flavor options for hunter sausage and jerky. Quick turnaround from drop off to pickup. Five stars!!

Definitely nice people fast turn around but Ive taken a few deer here before and this past time the first time I actually had a fair amount of hair on my meat which isnt appealing. Not sure if they were just a lot more busier than they expected after the move or what. Ill still take my deer here but your processors need a little work.

They say they open at 9am. I get there at 904am. Theres already a 1/4 mile of cars waiting to get into the driveway. Waited 2 and a half hours, got 4 cars from the driveway when they started turning people down due to lack of storage. I have no issue with the reason excuse given, its legitimate. What I have a problem with is that they knew what their storage situation looked like at 9 when they opened. They knew that they wouldnt be able to get through the line that had formed by 905, yet they didnt have desire to inform potential customers that they were at capacity. Instead they decided to waste about 40 peoples time, not counting the dozen or so cars that exited the line early. Cant say anything about their service but I wont be returning to a place that clearly doesnt care about its customers and their time.Side note, yesterday I called them 7 times between 10am and 2pm and no one answered the phone, a simple sorry were at capacity would have saved a lot of time and headache. Absolute joke of a business

I stared bringing my deer to Kasper and sons a few years ago switching from another processor. Packaging is great - Jerky and sausage is awesome as well. Great and convenient place.

This family operation does a fast and clean job turning your deer into delicacies. The deer process was so fast we didnt almost expect it was ready when it was....a matter of days. The sausage which is top knotch, takes about a month more to come back. The prices are right, you are supporting a local family owned operation, and everything is visible and on the level like the old days you bring them in like a buck pole of olde. I have been taking my deer to ken since 2005 him and his wife are very helpful friendly and very professionnel. And thier smoke operation for suasage jerky and what not is premium. Thanks for all the years of excellent service

My husband took his deer to KAS this season. He dropped it off last Sunday 10/31. Yesterday evening he received a phone call it was ready for pickup. First thing this morning 11/6 he went and picked up the venison. Hands down this has been a terrific experience. He cant stop talking about how:* Friendly the people are.* Clean the facility was.* Fast the process was from start to finish.* Impressed with how the venison was packaged.* We received ALL the meat from the deer. (In the past at another facility we did not receive the whole deer.)** We did not feel like processing the deer ourselves this year so I chose KAS. I am pleased with my choice.*** Thank you to all the people at KAS Deer Processing. We appreciate and respect your work!!!Until next season, Jim & Elizabeth 😉

Awesome work. The processor I used for years retired so I needed a new one. This place was a bit out of the way but there website was super helpful. All the prices and services were explained. Just pick a time slot for drop off and they do the rest. They had a huge selection of options such as sausage, jerky, and snack sticks. I opted to have them do a little of all of it and was not disappointed.All the meat was vacuum sealed and labeled. I couldn’t believe how much meat I got back. They offer services for antler removal, caping, and will remove the head for euro mounts. They also gave me an accurate time frame (about 6 days). They are not the cheapest around but the quality of the work definitely warrants the cost. Very nice and clean shop. Will definitely use them again!
