We asked that the side seams be repaired and gave a quote. When we picked up the boat lift cover it was double the quote and they did more than we asked without checking if we wanted the other things done. When asked he said it is what it is.

I needed a repair on my Tubbs snowshoes. The Tubbs website listed K&D as an authorized service center so I gave them a call. I spoke with Ken who was VERY accommodating and gave me options. I dropped the snowshoes off the next day and within a day they were ready. Ken and his staff were very customer friendly and I am a very happy and appreciative customer.

They are always helpful and truthful. The owner us a funny guy. He gives honest advice.

K&D did an excellent job repairing my boat cover saving me hundreds of dollars compared to a new one. They performed the work faster than promised and for less $. I highly recommend their work.

Sent my Atlas snowshoes up to these fine folks to have the original, broken bindings repaired. Every aspect of the experience was a complete joy -- the price was great, the bindings are 100% better than the original, the man I spoke with was so personable, funny and knowledgeable (These new bindings will bring a tear to your eye!!). They have made a forever customer for all of my tent, awning and snowshoe repairs!

In addition to the other services K & D offers, they are one of only two authorized Atlas Snowshoe repair facilities in the U.S. Ken was highly personable, pleasant & extremely professional to deal with. I was amazed that he did the repairs on the two pairs of snowshoes I sent and returned them to me in UNDER one week! He called me the same day he received them to authorize the repairs, and then sent an invoice with the repairs, trusting that I would sent him a check for the work he did. This is almost unheard of in this day & age. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience, and will definitely be a return customer.

Keep looking. Horribly unreliable. Ken, although he initially comes off as a super nice guy, stood me up four total times on our appointments to do a job I hired him for. Hed always sell his way into having me give him another chance. He ultimately did 1/2 the job in five times the length of time he promised it would take to complete the work. Then he just completely stopped returning my phone calls. The only thing he did promptly was cash my check. So the job never get done and my boat took a beating from the weather because of it. If I ever got anyone on the phone at the shop theyd just make up excuses for him, promise that hed call me, but he never would. I have no idea how they stay in business treating their customers the way that they do. Very poor experience all the way around. No integrity whatsoever.

Good place to get sewing

We needed the canvas on our camper fixed, altogether about 14ft needed to be sewed. We bought everything that was needed and seam ripped all the old stitches out, all they had to do was sew it. They charged $79. On the phone he said they charge $69/hr. I have a hard time believing it took over an hour. Also it would of been 80 parts and labor at the manufacturer. They did good work but if you are trying to save money I would look elsewhere.

Promised to have a patio swing seat in one week almost 2 weeks later it hadnt been started when I called to talk to him he was never there didnt answer his phone didnt return my calls so today I went to go pick it up and was able to order a replacement from the company I purchased it from 9yrs ago for half the price dont depend on him to do any job for you
