Edit: I received the following e-mail recently in response to my initial 3 star review on yelp. It has not changed my opinion of my experience substantially enough to revise my rating either up or down, but I figured that it was worth presenting their perspective/response to my experience. Make of it what you will.tl;dr: Good service, poor customer service/organization.I was looking to get a roll bar installed on my 95 Miata, and Wrentch (formerly known as SB Garage) drew my eye as a specialist garage with a quote for $600 listed directly on their website (which is fantastic! Why dont more shops list quotes for jobs online??). I e-mailed Ariel about getting the job done, and he initially tried to invoice me for $720. This is still a cheaper quote than other shops in the area, but I pointed out the discrepancy, and Ariel did end up agreeing to honor the $600 listed price, with the claim that he and his shop had been very busy and hadnt been able to update the listed price. On the day of dropoff, the guy in the garage stated that he had no appointment booked for me, and I had to show him the e-mail correspondence I had, by which time he called up Ariel, who let me drop off my car with a stated pickup window of 2-6PM the following day. I was reassured that this seemed to be a true enthusiast garage - there were Miatas and other Japanese sports cars littered all over the lot.Late that night, having not heard anything back yet, I inquired via e-mail if a 3PM pickup would still work, as I had arranged for someone else to drive me to the garage. I was informed that the pickup window needed to be shifted back to 4-6pm, which while not incredibly disruptive for me, did pose an annoyance having to reschedule my ride.In the end, the roll bar was installed well (as far as I could tell), and felt rock solid, and they even gave me the old chassis brace in case I wanted to keep or sell it. I noticed a while after I had my work done that the website was updated to state that NA/NB rollbar installation is now $650, which seems a bit odd, as it is higher than the previous rate, but not at the rate that Ariel had tried to charge me.Overall, I was happy with the quality of the work, but between the attempted upcharge, missing appointment, and lack of communication about the change in pickup window, Im stuck either believing that this shop is at best disorganized, and at worst negligent or uncaring.

Brought my car here for track prep alignments. With every visit the car handles better than the last, all thanks to Ariels knowledge and advice. Not only do they perform great work on the car, but Ariels provides much guidance into the world of road racing. I truly enjoy working with Wrentch this past year and look forward to learning more from them.

The team here is super communicative, easy to work with and makes your install convenient. The safety equipment install was perfect and now my miata is ready for the track. I look forward to working with Ariel again soon!

Wrench is a unique garage with unsurpassed service and knowledge. I have been coming here for four years (ever since I bought my Miata) and I have worked with this shop to transform the car from a daily driver to a track car. I have done everything from suspension and brake upgrades to a complete 2.5 ltr engine swap. They are always on time, on or below budget and deliver more than promised. For track cars, especially Miatas, you will be hard pressed to find a better shop anywhere in the USA.

Excellent service! I could not be happier with the work conducted on my Mx-5! I had my suspension replaced as well as a 150k mile service and couldnt be more satisfied! My ride has never felt so good since Ive owned the vehicle. Very honest work and gave me the ride I never thought my vehicle could achieve! Ill continue to use SBGarage for my Miata from here forward.

Best mechanic shop a Miata enthusiast could hope for. Installed coilovers, rebuilt brakes, clutch hydraulics, shifter turret, as well as being thorough with diagnosing every item that needed addressing currently and in the future. Great shop experience
