Put my car for oil service with my own oil and filter(aftermarket, not cheap oem). They broke the drain plug and billed new one on me. Also billed water fill up for washer on me, never asked them to. And final touch on a cake - once I grabbed the car after service the engine started to grunt and run heavy. Ive checked the oil level and it was way above maximum! Drained about a quart of oil and now its right below maximum level. Why the hell 5 star rating?

I took my car to a local smog check place and it didnt pass. So I contacted Taylormade via their website, explained the situation in their online form, and redeemed a coupon for FIRST TIME CUSTOMER - Oil Change Service -Oil & filter change plus complete full vehicle inspection and tire rotationWhen I arrived, I was presented with a quote for $360. ~$100 for the oil change and ~$250 for labor to investigate the issue ($10 in taxes). This was shocking given the coupon I supposedly redeemed. Additionally, they said my car would need to be left for the day.I refused, told them to rip up the quote, and left.I ended up going to a local place in SF; was initially quoted $180 for the equivalent service, and then only ended up being charged $65 (as it ended up passing smog) and I was in and out in 30 minutes.Poor first customer experience; would not recommend taking your car here.

Love this company. They picked up my car, put on new brakes, called me a couple of times during the service, and they returned my car to me. Wow, awesome customer service. Would recommend Taylormade to all.

I’ve been going to Taylormade for about 3 years now. Everyone there is so knowledgeable, kind and super flexible. I got a bunch of work done this past week. They kept the car over night and called me back the next morning to give me an update. I picked up the car later that afternoon and they’d detailed my car inside and out. It was such a pleasant surprise! Love these guys!

My car (Subaru) broke down while driving on 101 and I ended up getting a tow to Taylormade after reviewing the other local options. Service was excellent from start to finish - great communication, including descriptions of what was wrong and the options for moving forward. Every phone call was followed promptly by an email with a detailed written estimate or update. I didnt shop around for better prices so I cant say for sure whether this shop was more expensive than others in the area, but when it came time to pay the bill I felt confident that I was paying a premium for top notch work, and it feels good to know I have a dependable shop available for the next time my car needs service.

Been here 2 times already and they are friendly, nice, great people who really want to help you instead of finding random things wrong with your car so they can get a bigger check. they also explain in FULL detail what is wrong with the car. Also they get whatever is done in half a day which is AMAZING ! never will I take my car anywhere else but here for everything, oil change and all!

This is my first time using tailor-made. But so far they have been friendly, very patient, and professional. I had a blown head gasket and they keep you informed of the progress of the work as they move along and they even text pictures of the progress. I like this kind of service. So far so good I will post again when the job is done.

Had an oil change performed on my vehicle. Was told by gentleman @ Taylormade that I needed to have the following replaced 1) my rear brakes (including the rotors), 2) tires. I passed on that, given that a recent trip to Mazda dealership didnt reveal any of these (Tires were marked as green on the checklist). So I took my car to another place, where I was told that my rotors were fine (although pads did need replacement). My tires were fine too, and did not need replacement. Be wary of up-sell here.

Fast, efficient, thorough smog check. We will definitely be back to Taylormade for repair work on our vehicles. Also, their shop is clean, which cant be said about a lot of auto shops. I only wish they were closer to my house.

This place fit me into their busy day. I asked them to do a detailed bumper to bumper pre-purchase car inspection. They delivered! They searched nearly everything, provided me with a ton of details, and advice on the car. In addition, the mechanic offered advice and answered my questions on the phone patiently. My family and I have been going to Taylormade since 2011 and wont go anywhere else. I love that they are honest with you in regards to what needs to be done and what can wait bc not everyone can afford to spend hundreds on their vehicle . They are always in communication with you . Its great and they have a shuttle which is cool . Just a great team of people there.Updated 2020, still a great shop to go to. Very honest and will tell you what needs to get done and what can wait since they know not everyone can afford to get all repairs done. Nice guys and always keeps you in the loop. I really appreciate having a trustworthy mechanic bc those are super hard to come by

Simple. Easy. Convenient. Honest. Good. Dropped off my car at 5am. Walked to BART. Received a call before lunch that my tire and oil change were done, and they let me know about my throttle body and transmission fluid. All work was done well and on time, and very reasonably priced.See you in 4000 miles!

Ive been bring all of the vehicles that I have owned to them for service there. I took a chance when searching ( this was before Yelp) for a place, saw them, and has been satisfied with their service since. They have a vehicle that will take you back to your place but you might have to wait if its taking someone to their place and there is no loaner vehicle while ones car is in their shop. They will keep you informed on their progress on your vehicle and the cost that might occur. My example was with the automatic door opener cable to the side door to my van needed replacing and I thought just change it and out the door a few hundred bucks lighter. Oh no, You had to get the motor and the cable as a unit and its OME I was informed of this and left a lot lighter in my pocket book but with a working door.
