Bay Alarm is the most expensive and the most unreliable security alarm service I have ever encountered. This company has made so many blunders in servicing our storefront it makes me feel VERY insecure. First, they constantly mix-up schedules between our two addresses that they service. Recently however, during a period of civil unrest in America, our alarm went off because we were being robbed/looted/burglarized for a second night in a row, our alarm service, (Bay Alarm) never even bothered to call us. Fortunately, we have a good relationship with the local police department, and they called me to come secure our store after noticing it had been broken into again. When we called Bay Alarm two hours later to ask why they never called us, they had the nerve to say, we’ve had hundreds of alarms go off this weekend and could not get to them all in a timely manner, however if you paid a higher monthly fee you could be a priority customer in the future. We already pay hundreds of dollars a monthly for a simply monitoring service, this was beyond disappointing to hear. We have panic buttons installed after the unrest and they keep giving us trouble over and over again. Today we are asking that they be removed. We have recently asked to have an exterior siring installed and it took them four visits to learn they can’t do it. We were going to add the extra cameras so they could monitor with their own eyes if the system signaled trouble and of course we had to cancel that too after we realized they don’t call you when the alarm goes off with a priority FEE. This company is the absolute WORST and you should avoid it at all cost!!!!!

I regret I had signed up a 5 years plan with Bay Alarm for my business. When I was first getting the service, they were so nice to sell me their plan. Once I signed the contract and started the service, it was seemed like Hey you are trapped and screw you. They ignored us for everything.
We hired Hamid and his team to install and update our security system and couldnt be happier. Excellent customer service and quality all around. He is always available to answer our questions and is just a genuinely great guy. I would highly recommend this company for all your security needs.
Hamid was on time and very professional, he did a great job of listening to my concerns about my previous security system and assessing the type of system I would need going forward. Andrew explained everything and scheduled the installation date immediately. On the day of installation, Andrew arrived with Jamal to do a walk through, then Jamal worked methodically for hours to install the system. I highly recommend Bay Alarm Company to anyone in the market for an alarm system.

I had new systems installed at two stores. One store is working fine, but the other is still not working properly after two months in operation. The salesperson disappeared after the contract signing, and his job duties don’t involve follow up. I am left with a system that the technicians have abandoned as a software glitch in our unit that won’t be fixed until third party software companies resolve their communications issues. After a 3 Star review in yelp, the San Francisco Manager came out to make sure we got our issues resolved. Well, they were resolved for a week, and then one system unit failed to communicate to the central station for over a week. They sent letters about it. I was overseas on vacation, so the letters were never seen. They did not communicate by email, or text, or phone. So when I got back from vacation I see 3 letters saying how serious it was that our system wasn’t communicating. When I contacted Bay Alarm, their response was to send someone two days later. So, our store was not protected for almost two weeks!This system is still not communicating with their app two months after installing. The Manager doesn’t follow up or communicate when the problem will be resolved. I would not recommend this company to any others due to my personal experience.
I have used Bay Alarm for many years! I can say without hesitation that this company has integrity, great service and good customer service in all areas. I would recommend them in a heart beat!
I had to call in with minor issues with the panel. Howard responded. He arrived at the house, was very nice, very helpful and efficient. Howard is the best!
