We use to love this place. Menu items are a bit pricey now. Food is good not great. Wish it could be better.
Why would you give me a cake from the display, then put it in a box for a different cake and then get a new cake and put it in the display case? Red Ribbon doesnt do that. Just give me the cake from the fridge in its right box and keep the warm, dry display one where it is. And you took the box you put mine in and put it on a table where people could have touched, and wiped it out with a rag which I assume was used elsewhere. Dont give people (other ethnicities) reason to stereotype us. You may be a Filipino restaurant, but youre in America. Follow safety and cleanliness protocol. Even when theres no pandemic.
I love Goldilocks for its famous and tasty Phillipinno cuisines, pastry cakes and breads. I always make it a habit to try something different upon each visit and Im always happy with what I order. The Fresh Lumpia is delicious with its sweet sauce. Im also a big fan of Calabasa. You cant go wrong with Pancit either. Very helpful and attentive staff. Clean environment too.
Expensive but we love ths place especially FRESH LUMPIA❤
Very nice friendly people 😊.
Be respectful of allergy requests! We placed an order for a small party tray of pancit and specifically asked the egg to be on the side due to egg allergy, mentioned it multiple times. When we entered the store, we told the hot foods side about the order and noted the egg on the side request. The tray was prepared and I waited to be rung up at the cashier. When telling the cashier about the order, she was getting the tray of lumpia too and asked me again about the egg. I said it was due to an egg allergy. But she said it was never written down by whoever took the order. Really?!? The tray that had been prepared had the egg layered on it. So she said give them 5 minutes and I thought they were making a new tray. It was pretty quick and she gave the separate container of egg.But unfortunately, when we got home it was clear to us that all they did was scoop the egg layer off the noodles and packed it. They didn’t even make a new batch! So of course I wouldn’t let my son with the egg allergy eat it.Don’t assume they will adhere to food allergies after repeatedly communicating.
Good Filipino food and pastries.
So many flavors and theyre all delicious. I was mind blown by lavender, I mean who thought that one of my favorite scents could be an ice cream flavor!? The cookies and cream was the best I ever had!
I had an amazing experience at this place. We liked the nice atmosphere and the menu. The staff are very personal. I am glad we eventually decided to visit this restaurant.
We went to buy hopia and ube bread, while Im eating this bread I feel bad because it’s not worth it. Hopia its too hard like a stone and the ube bread you cannot even taste the ube. Ube is so little. Do not buy these bread at goldilocks, buy to another filipino bakery. And all the foods have sugar not supposed to. If you have diabetes do not buy food here lots of sugar and so expensive.
Standard fare food. Good bakery selection. Complex is newer so looks well kept and clean. Service can be hit or miss.
As a visitor from London, I came here a few days ago to try their tasty treats. Oh boy! Goldilocks did not fail my expectations. Food was really delicious and the staff was really friendly 😉.
Among the very best restaurants for Filipino cuisine. Ingredients are fresh and of much better taste and quality and authenticity then other Filipino restaurants. Try the beef caldereta with rice; you will not be disappointed! I gave it one star less only because the restaurant doesn’t have any signal or WiFi from the interior. Oh and if you haven’t yet tried their lèche flan, try it, it’s a must have!
Filipino bakery also serves Filipino dishes. I like their Adobo and Kaldereta.
I stumbled into this location when I was looking for Seafood City and got lost. The staff is friendly and they have a nice low cost lunch selection. I was even offered soup broth free. They also have a nice selection of Filipino delicacies.
This place reminds me of the Philippines. There are plenty of delicious Filipino dishes and desserts. Parking can be busy in the evenings and weekends, but worth going to. Great place fo lunch and dinner with the family.
Ive had their cakes before, but the mocha roll I got was lacking something. It was good, but something was missing. You have to love buttercream to like their cakes. I was surprised to see that they were serving hot food. I didnt have any of the hot food since we got dinner next door. The place wasnt very busy at 7pm on a Sunday night.
I went in and they greeted me right away and even helped me pick out what to eat since i told them i had never had this kind of food before. They helped with sweetness and spicy and didnt try to sell me the most expensive things. The lay out was clean and the ladys and man who were working were also helping other people. It was one of the better experiences I have had in a while at a bakery. Im happy i ignored the bad reviews from years ago. The reviewer must have been grumpy or the place has done a complete recovery.
Visiting there several times. Busy at lunch time. This store sells cake for birthday/wedding/etc,philipines styled breads, also sell hot foods that you can choose with or without steamed rice.Located next to pacific market.
I like this place for kids birthday cakes.
Serves authentic and delicious Filipino food. Staff are courteous and friendly. The place is sometimes busy especially at lunch time, weekend. Prices are reasonable.
The Goldilocks food are terrible so oily food and so sweet.like the pork sinigang lots of ginger and taste like it between of sugar and salt plus the oil too.the cooker is like ilocano person.because most of the ilocano peoples are loves ginger.and soup (omg) like atsuete color instead like from the rice when you wash it supposed to be. And our blood sugar are going up.because of the food from goldilocks westborough and take note the food are repeated from yesterday.avoid bad food from goldilocks for better health.otherwise waste of money and bad for our health.
The service is regularly prompt, awesome vibes, very nice staff. I will visit again when I get here.
This takes me way back when it feels nostalgic and it warms my heart to see this place once again!
Its the orig fast-food in the bay area. Filipino Food and bakery items. Callan site parking and layout better. Needs improvement.
We just bought ube macapuno roll in a box, and the cake was dry, no macapuno not unlike the longer roll we used to buy. Too much food coloring and the icing was not good. No cream inside the rolls. So dry.
One word to describe thisResturaunt: INCONSISTENT!I recently tried Goldilocks, I was very eager due to a somewhat positive review from a cousin. The CUSTOMER SERVICE was AWFUL, the place wasnt crowded at all and it seemed like I couldnt get any employees attention. I was still nonetheless, curious to try the LUMPIA. AND IT WAS BURNED! I guess its a hit or miss with this place.
Happy Birthday Baby ! She turn 2 yrs old and luvs her Chocolate cake from Goldilocks.
I feel like the new location has less options and space in general, but its nicer. Good food.
Excellent place, got a chance to order from this place as other bakeries were close on Labor Day, the cake was fantastic, amazingly delicious.
Food are overpriced and the empanada is so greasy and lack of taste especially the filling
Cause is a lovely people working happy. To serve us Im really recommend
Foods were a little okay but hella colder than my soul. Some of the staffs were pretty rude too.
Parking wasnt easy, but we eventually got a spot. The food was yummy and the staff was friendly. There is plenty of seating.
This place is a bakery of good different kinds of cake. A must to taste. Also restaurant that serves Asian Filipino delicasies adobo lumpia caldereta desserts like halohalo buko pandan. Gamous for cakes that can be ordered for your occasions. Try it you wont regret.
Very clean and service great when they are not pushed.......
Can u tell to those employees to wash their hands after using the bathroom ? Iwas with them inside and they dont wash their hands !!!
The old Goldilocks was better and they dont make other pastries like they used too.
Honestly, I prefer the original location on Callan Blvd where the space was larger and parking wasnt a hassle. There are more customers than tables and seats, which knocks off one star. This location is not that clean either, unless you ask kuya to clear the table. Its more cramped and their cooked food doesnt taste as good as it used to. Goldilocks could also improve on service too because when the line is short, the servers rush you to make your selection and since most of the patrons are Filipino who speak Tagalog, its easier to communicate. If you dont speak Tagalog, the servers also speak English.Ive noticed that the only food item that tastes fantastic here are their pastries and cakes. Everything else either lacks or is excessive in flavor. When I tried the chicken adobo, there was too much soy sauce. You could even mistaken it for diniguan because of the color. The diniguan also tasted too sour and the server gave more tripe and fat than actual meat. Food is a bit overpriced for lack/excess taste and parking is a hassle.
Nice place to eat Filipino food and breads.
Great food. We dont have Filipino restaurants in Dallas.
Okay for kids birthday cake
The last time I ate there I got stomach aches 30mins later I SHiiiiiiiiiittttttt in my pants I will never ever go back thereF. U. C. K.
