On Friday,11-06-2021, Delia at SSF store on El Camino Real was very rude and refused to bag part of my groceries after I had paid and she began serving the next customer. Suggestion to store manager : please keep an eye on her.

Store is not very big, clean, stocked, or staffed. Some good prices from weekly ads. Would only go there for deals or needed items. Be patient at the lines and other customers may not be the greatest. There is a goodwill store next door.

Great store.I love it. I can find so many things that you cant get from other stores. Hard to find caffeine free these days.

As usual .. stocked with a good array of everything. Decent prices and helpful staff members. Although I did notice that it needed a little more clean up. It wasnt as pristine as it has been before. I havent visited that particular store in about 8 months.

So nice had everything I wanted. easy by bus. masks and 6ft apart to be safe.

There are good deals to be had on occasion but prices seem to be trending higher. Service is generally slow. Product selection is static with little to any new items. The checkout line at the SSF store on Monday 8/17/20 was exceptionally lengthy, as only one cashier seemed to be working! It about 15 minutes to get checked out.

This place has such a potential to be a great place ..but Im guessing corporate wont let them because nobody cares. I was in retail business for years this is a mint waiting to happen but again nobody cares.

We have a business nearby, and their shopping carts are always scattered on our parking lot, side walk, and landscaping. Every week, we have to call for those carts to be picked up and it takes days for them to disappear. They are a terrible neighbor. They need to secure their shopping carts to their site so they cannot be taken outside their business perimeter.

It feels like a warehouse store. The prices are right. Cashier service is sparce & sporadically untrained. Ill still shop there, though. Lots of hard workers!

Wish they had electric scooter for handicap shopping instead of sending people to shop for me

A bit small, but they usually keep the shelves well stocked and the staff is friendly. I always like shopping here.

Good prices, but bad customer service, last time I went there i waited for more than 15 minutes for a cashier to help me. Always busy, if you want to get you produce there go early .

Good price! The fruit and meat section and lots of boxes in front of the shelves so hard to get the items, very disorganized!

Shopped on a friday 7am. Everything was in stock, prices were better than other grocery stores. The store wasnt busy at this time of the morning but only had one cashier which slowed the checkout.

It is great if the shelves were stocked.

First time here. The store is small . The isle is too small especially the fruit and meat section and alot of boxes in front of the shelves so difficult to get the items. The line is long although there is 4 cashiers are open.

SHOPPING CARTS ARE OUTSIDE OF THE STORE.AISLES ARE CROWDED WITH UNPACKED ITEMS. FEW CHECKERS. ONE CHINESE CHECKER IS VERY SLOW ON PURPOSE. FREEZERS ARE NOT STOCKED. CASHIER HAS TO LEAVE THEIR STAND TO GO GET ANY ALCOHOL. LONG LINES LONG WAITS. NOT WIRTH THE PRICES IF YOU ARE ELDERLY OR DISABLED. BRINGING THESE ISSUES TO THE ATTENTION OF THE MANAGER LOCAL & DISTRICT IS USELESS.

Well stocked. A little tight to maneuver around especially when its busy. One thing that I really dont like is that in the evenings the aisle where the sodas and drinks are they use it to store their stock. Sometimes you cant even grab anything thats not close to the end of the aisle.

Found everything I was looking for and was helped quickly by a friendly teller. Prices are going up, but still reasonable and better than regular supermarket and definitely better than big dismount stores. Love Smart and Final. You dont have to pay membership fees and the lines are not crazy. Lastly, you dont end up with tons of stuff you dont really need.

They usually have lines and the cashiers rarely greet me or say thank you after I finish paying for items. On a few occasions they also didnt have milk or eggs(like tonight). I dont expect good customer service from most places anymore, it has become a lost art, and Smart & Final is just a place I go to for convenience because it is close by. If there was another place close by that greeted me as I walked in and said thank you, have a nice day as I left, then I would most definitely go there.

The sale prices are good, very little space to maneuver, aisles are always full of product that isnt yet stocked. Items are often not stocked, I have to ask for assistance if someone can check in the back, which is usually quite time consuming. While the employees are usually quite nice, the daytime manager can be quite rude to both customers and employees..

I love this store. The only problem is when they get their stock in they completely block aisles with stacks of food. Two people cannot pass in these aisles & me with a walker is even harder.

I think they do the best they can here even though its not the greatest store. They really do their best with the small space theyre given and Ive always been treated kindly by the employees. I think people need to stop being so snitty because they werent put on a throne and paraded around the store like freaking royalty. I give this store 5 stars. A for effort.

Yes, its small and cramped and the parking sucks, but they always have what Im looking for and the checkout employees are always very, very pleasant. What I dont like is that management has the checkout people answer the phones while theyre trying to take care of the customers! Really? Like they arent busy enough?

Too much merchandising going on on a Sunday evening that forklifts & ladders blocked some of the aisles. Lots of people working on cleanup when they dont close for 2.5hrs, made it hard to shop! No cold wine or beer. Small store, so very minimal selection. First visit & probably last except for emergency needs.

Great sale prices on every day items. During Christmas they have a great selection on Prime Rib Roasts and the prices are awesome.

Competitive prices at smart and final, decent quality when on sale.Small store.The ailes are super tight, can barely get through some areas. They should not place other goods in ailes when a shopping cart can barely get through.Parking is also tight too, not the best place to park a nicer car, can easily get dinged by others if not careful.

Small but it has the basics. Good staff very nice and helpful. If you go during the day, except for weekends, you dont have to wait very long.

This particular store has the SMALLEST meat department. Though it still had what I wanted. And the checkers last name was(is) Tennyson !! That itself deserves 4 stars .

No issues, short lines

This place is cheap and open late. They have really friendly staff and they are obviously trained well and love their job. The parking lot is a little dark in some areas if youre worried.

It really beat lucky, Safeway on many levels of items and products and some bulk on Costco they dont have all the variety of big stores but it is suprizeing for size of store what u can walk out with at alot better than other stores. The Dollar good father! Thanks

Its the store policy to take the next person in line when the very rude girl open up the next line she came to get the young guys behine me I ask her about it I dont like being discriminating against we got into it she says she was discriminating against me that I should go live in the south. Her line was no .4 also the one waiting on me started to be rude and to shut my old face upI shop alot here but never again

The store is kind of dirty and not laid out too well. The selection is not as good as other stores. Pricrs are good.

Your average local small grocery store. Good to go if you dont needed allot of items.

The saddest Smart and Final I have ever been to. This location is always out of everything, and the items they do have are expired or near expiring. Came here to buy milk only to find most of it was past its expiration date. Had to show someone who worked there the expired milk (dont think the workers give two craps about the quality of their products).The one that I bought was still dated ok, but when I got home, it tasted sour and had to throw it away. Check out lines are always long. Avoid this place unless youre desperate for groceries, like I was for milk. Never again.

Okay, but check dates on eggs. Often find outdated, broken eggs. Very limited produce options. Good selection of reasonably priced bulk sizes without having to go to club store.

Its a dirty store with really rude peole. Some prices are reasonable, but some just cost too much.... It is a tiny store and the always have the worst service and especially, the worst bathrooms.

Smart & Final is a hit or miss. When they have fruits, vegetables and others is a hit.....

Vegetables are pretty expensive compared to trader joes but I got avocados for a great price $0.79 each while Safeway is selling them 2 for $5

Very annoying they have trash pick up at 3AM (liftinf and dropping of huge metal trash bins and delivery trucks parked in front of our houses dropping liftgates in the mornings at 4am!!! No consideration for the neighborhood.
