What a great place! Ive never fished salt water so needed a lot of guidance. They took the time to get me set up at a reasonable price. Never felt like I was being pushed by a salesman. Later, while I was fishing the locals mentioned they had been going there for years. Thats always a good sign.

I get almost all of my tackle needs at Riverview. All the guys there are fantastic and knowledgeable anglers and are more than happy to help you if you have questions highly recommend

We had to go 3x in one day. Originally went for bait. Staff was so helpful, then we realized we needed a knife went back.... again so helpful. And then the rod broke :( went back for a 3rd time. Got a good rod at a great price!

Absolutely the best. I just moved to the Cape from SC and Mac was kind enough to explain how to get my license and where to go freshwater fishing. He also gave me a few magazines and spent some time telling me what I needed to know about the rules and regulations. Highly recommended.

This has been my local B&T for some time now. I upped my rating a star from three years ago because I just continue to have great experiences there. Warranty issues on a rod, no problem. Parts for a reel when Im doing my own service, no problem. Great shop with fair prices and excellent service. The staff really know the local fishing (fresh and salt) and are always willing to offer solid advice. Good selection of equipment for all your salt and freshwater activities (fishing, clamming. crabbing, catching bait, and more).

If you’re looking for the most helpful staff in the mid cape area and the best prices by a wide margin this is the place to go. Mike & Mac know cape fishing like the back of their hands and will give you tips on where to catch fish. If you’re looking for the best freshwater selection on cape you’ll find it here. Need a reel serviced or rod repaired you won’t find anyone better than Lee on cape to fix whatever issues you’re having. It’s no understatement saying this is the best and most inexpensive tackle shop on cape. I couldn’t recommend this place higher.If you hunt they have all the ammo you would ever need. If you’re unsure what you need just ask for Mike, nobody knows more about on cape hunting.If you’re on cape and plan on fishing areas that don’t involve the canal this is the place to go.

These guys are the absolute best on the cape. They offer a wide variety of well priced tackle and gear. They are always super friendly.I’ve been to every store on the cape and I can say with confidence that these guys are the most professional. There is a reason they have a solid commercial following.

Excellent knowledgeable staff, pointed me in thw right direction for everything i needed. I had a few questions and he walked around with me giving me suggestions. Well stocked with everything unlike some of the bigger box stores who seems to be out of everything and know nothing about fishing.

Staff was extremely helpful and their prices are significantly lower than surrounding fishing stores. I would definitely recommend going here for your fishing needs.

Gentlemen was extremely rude and not friendly. The woman on the other hand was nice. Dont use card if youre buying anything under $10 or go there if youre trying to find live bait for saltwater other than sea worms(eels as an example of live bait).

This place could have been an amazing shop but the unprofessional approach towards us was so bad. No hello, no can I help you and no have a good day. No nothing! I was standing with my son and my 15 year old son touched a knife with a case on it and the man rudely said no one touch knives unless you are 18. Wow, I’m standing right there, I’m 50! Like I said, there was a case on the knife. I’ll go shop some where else.

Been going here for years, great selection with great service. There are alot of reviews about bad service, but I have NEVER experienced this going here for 10+ YEARS! Always a good time in here, and if you spend enough they tend to throw in a free stick or other item, very kind! They have my business!

Wow, with all the buzz of shopping online and the big box stores you would think that a small bait & tackle store would try to be at least a little more personable to their customers! No hello what can I help you with? just some grunts and as my buddy was getting his saltwater license. It seemed like we were putting him out to help us.

Many of these bad reviews are very unfair to the shop. It is ran by 3 guys, where it needed to be ran by 10 to keep up with the flow. Most likely these people came in at rush hour, and attempted to make small talk when the guys are over worked and backed up. This was a great place with amazing service!

I fish every single weekend of the summer. EVERY time I go in here and ask a question you would think Im bothering him in the middle of the night. Theres been dozens of times I cringe at handing him cash...now I am so happy I found theres a few different options around Yarmouth. Im upgrading my offshore gear this year and I couldnt fathom going in and talking to this guy never mind handing him well over $1000. Id be happy to pay the money just to feel appreciated as a customer OR just get some good insight from a guy who has probably been doing this his whole life. Also last year I gave him two poles I needed the eyes fixed on and it took MONTHS to get back. Every time I called he said ya its a pretty busy time of year. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Most people just want to have a nice convo with a guy who deals with fisherman and tackle every day. I wouldnt give him a dollar.

I am a retired commercial fisherman, 30 years lobstering out of hull, ma. 17 years down south on the keys, moved back to cape cod 2 years back where I met a lot of fishermen in different bait shops, by far this is the worse bunch of a holes Ive ever met in all my years of fishing, absolutely no personality!

Went in there a couple times today and the guys really helped me out. Told me where to fish and what bait/lures to use. Great guys all around

No friendly service at all, dont seem to know the type of baits they sell, asked for medium hoos they try to sell me dinks, I give them back and ask for selects they give me Horses and then charge my way to much. Rigged ones were charged as if they were on flouro but theyre on mono, if I wasnt in a jam I would have walked out without them. Dont bother w these guys...not a friendly shop

We shop here every year when visiting the cape. They are never very friendly so Im not sure why we continue to go back but this year will be the last. The guy at the counter was a total douche with his ignorant attitude. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!!
