I was to receive laminate installation on 10/18/2021.After speaking with the installer about an acclimation period due to weather change/internal temp of home, the installer agreed that the laminate should remain in the home uninstalled for at least 24 to 48 hours. My husband then asked that it be installed on Thursday. Before leaving, the installer was shown the room and hallways that the installation would take place in and the carpet pulled back so that the floors underneath the carpet could be seen (as had the 2 ladies that arrived months prior for the consultation).During the consultation with the 2 ladies that came to our home, I inquired about all additional costs including installation, warranties, furniture moves, carpet take up/removal, etc and revealed the condition of the hardwood in the hallway and the stone floor in the den. I asked that the quoted price be all inclusive and was given a final cost.On 10/21/2021, I was informed that it will be an additional $800+ to install the flooring into our home to level it out. I understand how this would be a service needed but understandably do not understand how this is suddenly an additional cost when the in home floor composition was revealed twice, during installation and during the flooring drop off. After my husband spoke with Jamie Osborne, it was determined that nothing would be done about it, no matter what we had revealed and been informed of during the consultation and drop off. Jaime said the store has a no refunds policy and that a contract had been signed. She was so very unprofessional when I called to ask questions that I asked to cancel the entire transaction. Jaime refused the cancellation and continued over talking me the entire time and even when asked for her supervisors info she refused to provide me contact information. I asked again that the flooring be picked up and the business be severed, to which she refused also. She then provided me and email address for the owner Butch that does not work and stated if contacted by him I should expect for him to be even worse than her.She called me back an hour later to call me a liar regarding showing the floors during consultation and scream some more. I was absolutely outdone.I have done business with the floor depot before for other homes that I have inhabited and have never had such poor service or lack of resolution when issues arise (which I can understand issues arising but the way in which this is being handled is completely unacceptable).Once a customer reveals all conditions in which the install will occur, and request an all inclusive cost, and is informed that is what is being provided, then that should be it or at least reasonable conversation of options occur. Jamies lack of professionalism, conflict resolution skills and poor customer service in general have been cited for years now online (reference Yelp) yet she continues to provide similar service.
The ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable about helping us choose our floor coverings. The crews installing did a good job. The new lament and carpet are beautiful.
Jamie was very knowledgeable & efficient with measuring & helping me choose a carpet for my house. She was very accommodating when I needed a certain day to get it all installed. Her guys came out & got the job done. It looks great!! She was so easy to work with. All around a great experience!!
Benjamin took care of my really well. A level of service that big box stores just cant do. No complaints here at all. 5 STARS
Purchased flooring and a week later changed the color and paid $200.00 extra. I was told I had to wait until the next few days to pick up new order.Picked up flooring that was wrapped up and after driving 60 miles and unloading, it’s the wrong color! After thinking this has been the smoothest transaction I have had while renovating my house so far.Very disappointed!
Small but full of all the flooring needs you have. Very nice staff. Jamie is the best!
Jamie was fabulous to work with. She listened to what I wanted and helped me pick out the perfect flooring for our home. The price was far less than a competitor for the exact same product, so I appreciated her not giving us the round around or haggling or over pricing. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. Wendall, Ray and Rick did the install for us and they were also amazing. they were very considerate while being in our home. They laid luxury vinyl plank floors throughout the entire house and replaced the trim and base. Our house looks like a completely new home! I can’t wait to collaborate with them on our cabinets
Update: contractor just called (I guess the owner had a slight change of heart) and told my fiancé to caulk the floors to seal them... no one has come to investigate and why didn’t they caulk them when installing? So it was an installation problem and still refusing to fix it for free like promised. Please do not believe this company & spend your money elsewhere. The problems started when we were promised a “same as cash” financing. Once we received our first bill we were charged interest. We had to do the leg work and prove that this company made a mistake when charging us. We called multiple times and eventually did everything ourselves. I then noticed noticed that my boys bathroom (2year and 4 years old) started having water build up underneath the flooring. (Which seems like it could be because they didn’t seal around the bath tub) I spoke with the owner Ben and he not only was very unprofessional but he also insulted my parenting by saying my children should have a mother that didn’t allow them to get water on the floor after bathing. He refused to even send a contractor out to look at our floors. While I understand that my sweet babies may have made a mess for the owner of the company to not even care enough to make sure the floors we installed properly to keep a paying customer at ease is actually ridiculous. I don’t know if we were treated this way because we are obviously young parents trying to build our life, but regardless we spent our money with them and should be treated with the same amount of respect as anyone. PLEASE GO TO A COMPANY THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AND NOT INSULT YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN. Just trying to save you some money before you are stuck with a mess like my family is.
NEVER AGAIN! These people are a joke. I hired this company to install 3 rooms of VCT and 5 rooms of commercial grade carpet. After taking 8 MONTHS, I considered the job complete. 1 year later the carpet and rubber transitions came up, and I had to hire another company to redo their work. The pictures attached, are what the company saw as a “completed” job. These pictures are only a tiny bit of the problems they had to come out to repair after the initial install. The owner came out to inspect, after many ugly conversations over the phone, then it still took him another 4 months to finish.Butch (owner) is the most unprofessional business man I have ever encountered, and they will not be receiving any business from us again.
Love, Love, Love my new carpet! I shopped around and Floor Depot gave me the best price and their customer service cannot be beat! Todd came out that day to get my measurements and carpet was schedule for delivery just a few days later. The guy who came out to install it did a great job and it looks wonderful! It’s so nice stepping out of bed each morning and feeling the softness of my plush, new carpet. I am very satisfied and will return when I am ready for more rooms.
My husband and I bought a new house and wanted to put in new floors before moving in. We spoke with a few flooring places and decided to use Floor Depot because they said they could get it done in the time frame we needed. They did get the flooring done by the time we needed to move in but not in the time frame they said they would get it done. We purchased about $10,000 worth of flooring through them and when we wanted to replace 6 tiles around our fire place and after calling he finally got back to us after two weeks and quoted us $700......for 6 tiles but he said he’d write off the $25 per tile fee to rip them down like he doing us a favor or something. We also had to rip up our own 1/4” and put our own 1/4” back down. I realize it’s a business and they have to make sales, but it’s very pushy and slimy and I didn’t feel like I got all the information once everything was said and done. I was told there would be a chemical laid down to adhere the flooring and there wasn’t. I was told there would be leveling and there wasn’t. I was told their wouldn’t be a tapping noise when you walked on the floors and their is. I think they “took us for a ride” in telling us the cost of ripping up and laying down new 1/4”. I think they saw that we wanted to do this quickly and they took advantage. Now my husband and I know better in the future but they could have also been transparent and honest sales people. Just be on your guard if you choose to work with them. If Brandon starts saying “all day long” to answer a question you have about the flooring watch out, he’s trying to sell you.
UPDATE: Had my carpet installed today and it looks beautiful. The installers where efficient and did an excellent job. I am thrilled with the higher quality of carpet, much better than the big box stores, and you definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend The Floor Depot to all my family and friends!Recently stopped into the Floor Depot on the recommendation of a friend. Todd greeted me at the door and showed me carpet that would be perfect for my rowdy dogs and look great in my house.Todd also came out to measure and walked me through the process. He is very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
We just had new flooring put in throughout our entire downstairs. Jamie and Todd both helped my husband and me through the entire process. They were so friendly and made sure our floors were installed timely. The installers were very friendly also and cleaned up after themselves and hauled our old flooring away. Thank you Floor Depot for our gorgeous new hardwood and vinyl tile!!!!
I would like to say Thank You to Todd for being so helpful with my new wood floor, to coordinating, ordering, scheduling my install. I got a great military discount which helped me make my decision to purchase from the Floor Depot. The floor looks great. If you are planning on purchasing new flooring I would definitely consider The Floor Depot.
I had the best experience ever and my patio floor is beautiful!!! Branden and Jamie were awesome and so professional. Floor depot has beautiful flooring options and the installation crew does very professional and quality work. I’m glad I chose floor depot over the big box stores and the price was great as well. I am so satisfied!!!!! I will be doing more business with them
I’ve been using Jamie and the Floor Depot for years. I do home remodels for a living and always send my customers to them. Jamie has the patience of a Saint when working with my customers and goes above and beyond to make sure they get exactly what they want! She has no problem spending hours with customers to guarantee their satisfaction. They now have a program that helps my customers see in 3d what their rooms will become. It is the coolest thing and really helps everyone out. A bonus they are a locally owned store. Keeping it in our community!
I had a great experience here. I came in with an idea of what type of flooring I wanted. I wanted something that would hold up well to a dog and a couple kids. The salesperson showed me some options that I didnt know existed and the floors turned out great! The flooring is super durable and is holding up well. Best of all, they had more options and better deals than the big box stores or closeout flooring stores.
Good people and know their stuff. I almost bought from the big box stores but after going here and getting some education about the type of floors would be best for my home and their awesome service I chose to go with them. So glad I did. Floors look great
Ive shopped all over the Midsouth and Floor Depot is by far the best place to buy any flooring!! They have the best selection! Great pricing! My sales lady, Jamie went above and beyond to provide us with outstanding service! We love our floors!!
I called Floor Depot and got Jamie. My experience with her was truly shocking. I just needed a small piece of carpet for a closet redo which they actually dont sell based on the size I needed...she referred me to a different store ( their competitor). I can honestly say that this is the definition of customer service, and I will be using Floor Depot and all of my future flooring needs. She also texted me contractor information for a cabinet painting job. Wow!Thanks Jamie!
Top quality customer service! Jamie knows her stuff and she goes above & beyond for clients! I highly recommend that, if you are looking for any type of flooring, you stop by and see Jamie! Very reasonable and affordable pricing!
Very helpful. Staff do not just sell, they help you with designs and educate you on products. I have nothing against big stores who hire contractors but a little extra $$ may get you better help and more individual service (not just making the sale). I am sure they hire contractors too but the fight may not be there if things dont go right like other places. Jaime is very helpful and creative. I do not have the finished product yet. I will post when work is finished.
Staff in the store was polite and courteous. Installer was always on time. Did a great job.
The people in the business are friendly and helpful, we liked them. Their installers are not good at all. They are the problem. They did not install the carpet correctly. The seams arent right. They did not install cove base correctly. They have been back out to fix things four times and still do not have ours right yet. We are waiting now after since October for these things to get totally corrected. Its almost been 5 months. They get a 2 for their friendliness in the office. I do not recommend using them based on their installers.
I went in for help with my kitchen. Jamie was very helpful with helping me picking out floors, cabinets and countertops. She is very knowledgeable in kitchen design. Thank you Floor Depot and Jamie for all of your help!
The whole experience from selecting my new floor with Ms. Jamie to the installation itself was simple, easy and enjoyable. Ms. Jamie was incredibly knowledgable and helped steer us to exactly what would work best in our living room. And the installation crew was proficient, professional and fast! I will 100% be coming here for all of my flooring needs.
Todd worked with us to get us the look we wanted without the budget we had. Our project turned out great.
Let me just begin by saying I read the reviews of this company and even shopped around for quiet a while before choosing to go ahead and give them a try. I am so so glad I decided to go with this flooring company!!! Not only did they beat all the other estimates I received, The sales staff (Mrs Jamie/sales manager) especially went above and beyond on my two rental properties. She walked through every single process with me until I was happy and even showed me a program on her computer where she could design my entire kitchen or kitchens, in this instance, and the rest of the house as well. I just can not go on enough about how Jamie went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the product I picked out and satisfied with my end results. If I could give this company “The Floor Depot” a ten star rating I would. Whenever I do decide to redo my other properties they will be my first and only call, from the floors all the way to the cabinets. If anyone needs flooring of any kind and or new wonderful looking cabinets The Floor Depot is the way to go.
I had a great experience today! Patti was knowledgeable, courteous, and to the point! I also met Butch and he was very friendly and made me feel like a friend and not a customer!
I contacted the Floor Depot to get information on hardwood floors for my living room and carpet for my bedroom. The staff were all courteous and professional. They came out the next day and completed an estimate which was much lower than Lowes and Home Depot. The installers came on time and completed both rooms much sooner than I expected. From start to finish, it was a positive experience. I would definitely recommend The Floor Depot.
My experience at The Floor Depot was beyond exceptional! The store itself was organized and very clean, numerous samples to choose from in making my selection on flooring, and the sales team were all very helpful in educating me in the many different types of flooring and letting me know the best flooring option to fit me and my lifestyle. Upon choosing my flooring and paying for it, i was scheduled for my install in a timely manner and my install was flawless. I would highly recommend The Floor Depot for anyones flooring needs.
Terrible terrible horrible horrible rude!!!These people are nice and helpful while you are in store but the moment you order the flooring their attitudes completely change and it’s obvious they only care about getting the commission from the job, not the satisfaction of the customer. We set up an install at a certain date and time to accommodate the needs of our toddler and our work schedule. They got the carpet in early and pushed and pushed for us to install on an earlier date. We reluctantly agreed as long as the could install that morning. They agreed but lo and behold they did not follow through. After several hours of them not showing up and several hours of back forth rude phone calls with Brandon we finally told them that it could not be done that day and to reschedule. Brandon reluctantly agreed and said he’d call his installers. Of course he didn’t and they showed up at the beginning of my toddlers nap and disrupted the entire day. The installers were overly noisey and used our trash can to dispose of old carpet and other remnants. Very unprofessional. Brandon was very courteous at the beginning of the process but on the day of the install he spoke to my wife as if she was below him and tried to make her feel as if she didn’t know what she was talking about and that he would rather deal with a man than a woman. He only cared about getting the carpet installed that day so he could make his commission. We let him know we were very unsatisfied, would like to speak to his manager and expect some sort of compensation for not following through with what they said; it’s been over a week and we haven’t received one follow up phone call. I would not recommend them to anyone, go to Tim Hogan’s, or carpet spectrum before you waste your time with these rude swindlers.
The Floor Depot staff and installers were prompt and courteous. I have rental properties and had floors done in 2 houses. I didnt even have to be there for them to get in and get out in a timely manner. They are working on a third house for me now.
If I could give this a business no stars I would. My experience there was absolutely horrible. The salesperson would not let me bring a sample of the carpet home I selected and lo and behold she ordered the wrong carpet. As the installers began laying it I told them that it was the wrong carpet. He called the store and the salesperson asked to speak with me. She tried her hardest to convince me that it was indeed the carpet I ordered even though I ordered gray carpet and this was brown. I asked her if she would discount the carpet and she told me that she could not do that because the wrong carpet that was brought out was actually a better grade than I selected. After informing her that I dont know if it is a better grade or not, it is still not the gray color I selected in store. The installers had to take the carpet back up and head back to the store to get the carpet I selected. I waited almost an hour and a half for them to return although I informed both the salesperson and installer that I had a three oclock doctors appointment. I was told that I didnt have anything to worry about because the installation would not take that long--wrong. Meanwhile, the salesperson contacted me to let me know because that because the store made a mistake that they were sending me a better grade of carpet in gray--did not get that either. Then the salesperson had the nerve to contact me three days later to ask if I was okay and when I expressed my concerns, she told me that I was rude and hung the phone up in my face. I will not be a returning customers. I wish I would have went with another company. Worst customer service ever, they might as well be running a used car lot.
I have nothing but Great things to say about the staff at Floor Depot! They were well informed and up to speed on all of the newest products on thr market. I was in the flooring business until I retired about 10 years ago and I would have loved to have had a staff as qualified as they are. If you are shopping for tile and need design and guidance on material and installation, you should see Stacey, she knows her business!
5/7/2019 Still waiting for my $1900.00 they took on 4/30/2019 without my signature!I was going to do business with them but after being mislead and then over charged on my credit card before signing an agreement. I will never do business with Floor Depot as they want to argue and lie to your face.My suggesting is keep looking and run away fast! Never give them your credit card with out paper work first....As for the response from Floor Depot it is just another way to cover up Jamies LIES! She wants to say she was talking 18 months when we never talked about 18 months my wife and I was completely aware when we first talked with her at the store that Synchrony was 12 months same as cash.I also have a copy of email along with invoice and not one time did it show anything about 18 months. Jamie also got rude when speaking with my wife on the phone and that phone call was recorded. My wife hung up on her. LIARS, LIARS LIARS BEWARE OF FLOOR DEPOT SOUTHAVEN & JAMIE.I now have to file a complaint with Synchrony for charging my card and I will also be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as my card was charged with out my signature. Synchrony is saying it could take up to 60 days for it to be resolved. As of 5/06/2019 still waiting for my refund had to file complaint with BBB and Credit card company.Today is 5/7/2019 Floor Depot still has not issued my $1900.00 refund they charge to my credit card on 4/30/2019. I FIRED THEM BEFORE ANY PAPER WORK WAS SIGNED!
I purchased hardwood flooring for my entire house from The Floor Depot in Southaven. I received courteous, knowledgeable, sales attention, and an excellent price. Installation was done quickly, professionally and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend The Floor Depot to my family and friends.
Highly recommend The Floor Depot. We have used them twice in our home and the service was great as well as the prices.
Exceptional customer service and the representatives are very helpful and knowledgeable about flooring. Was able to help me with all my flooring needs
Great staff. Jamie was a great help.
5/7/2019 Still waiting for the refund of $1900.00 they took on 4/30/2019 without my husbands signature! Jamie did not even respond appropriate to my comment but just copy pasted from her response earlier to a previous comment made.BEWARE OF FLOOR DEPOT SOUTHAVEN & JAMIE. THEY ARE LIARSIf I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I were going to do business with The Floor Depot in Southaven, MS; the salesperson we dealt with was Jamie. After being lied to, overcharged on my husband’s credit card without his signature, (Jamie said they were pre-authorizing only) we canceled the order via telephone and an email response the same day. Jamie will lie to your face and then try to rudely talk over you when she is confronted with the truth. We will NEVER do business with The Floor Depot! My suggestion is DO NOT look here but continue to shop elsewhere and do it fast! No matter what, DO NOT give your credit card and let them tell you they are pre-authorizing and will not charge until paperwork is signed. To me it looks like this business is having money problems! What transpired was Jamie and my husband agreed upon $1800 and 12 months same as cash for the job. On the same day she stopped by our home, she sent us an email later in the day showing an invoice of $1902.63 and paid in full. I contacted the store immediately and was told she had left for the day and that was at 4:32 pm. I then sent an email stating to void the transaction and that we did not appreciate being told one price to only be charged another when charged to our credit card. We also requested to cancel the job and we would be going elsewhere. (Keep in mind nothing signed in writing)The next day, I returned Todd’s phone call and was placed on hold then the call was hung up. Todd called back and transferred me to Jamie who said she and my husband agreed on 18 months not $1800 for the job. I told her, “I was right there and heard the whole conversation and at no time was 18 months mentioned. He was talking in dollars only when you suggested $1800 to do everything. Your first quote was a much higher price for the job. You both then agreed to $1800 for the job.” She then started talking louder and rudely over me. Since I could not get a word in and she would not talk in a reasonable manner I then hung up.After following up with Synchrony, Jamie put in the amount of $1900.00 on 4/30/19. On 5/1/19 Synchrony now shows $1900.00 on 18 month same as cash. On 5/2/19, Synchrony shows they paid out that amount to The Floor Depot and we are on 18 months same as cash. My husband had to put in a dispute with Synchrony on The Floor Depot and now must wait for them to confirm there is nothing signed. Keep in mind the $1900.00 still holds a pend on your available credit until it is resolve. We now have no new flooring and our credit is tied up with a pending hold on the credit card. Before we went to the store; we knew Synchrony offered the 12 months same as cash and whatever amount we chose would have to be paid in 12 months. Never was it mentioned there was an 18 month same as cash option. As for the response from Jamie at The Floor Depot it is just another way to cover up Jamies LIES! She wants to say she was talking 18 months when that was not the case. I have a copy of the email along with their invoice and nowhere does it state or show anything about 18 months. Jamie became rude when she was confronted with the truth and has not reversed her charges to our credit card as of this writing. I will continue until this is resolved. Buyers BEWARE!!!!
They really did a great job on my floors will recommend... Great products, great job

My experience was excellent! Someone came to measure the house, arrived on time and was very knowledganble. All my questions were answered. Then we went to the store and picked out our wood and carpet. It didnt take long to decide and the flooring was delivered on time and installed withIn 2 days. Professional people all along the way. Will definitely use Floor Depot again.
Very polite and helpful. Very reasonable prices and good quality flooring.
They definetly have better priced flooring & cabinets than Lowes or Home Depot ...and given the free estimate, its worth checking into.
The Sales Rep, Ms Patty Seay did an exceptional job explaining the process, etc. of our floor project, which made us feel very comfortable! We were very satisfied with the installers and they did a great job installing our Laminent & completed 5 rooms in a very timely manner! In one day to be exact! We would highly reccomend Patty Seay & Floor Depot!!
I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Thats how rotten these people are. I heard the sales woman talking so bad about one of their installers it made me sick. The owners act as if youre not a person and they are above you. Ill take my business elsewhere 99 times out of 100 before I deal with these evil people.
Great place...Great staff!
Great people, great products, great experience.
Wonderful customer service
Find another company.
