Ive been here lots of times over the years, and this store is always as neat and organized as it was the first time I went. I like that you can take your time and look at items without being bothered unless you need help. The cashier that checked me out this time was Deyana, and she was delightful. Check the website to make sure that what youre looking for is in stock.

I have to break up this review in order to be fair. I had color done at the Salon and was very unhappy with it. I told the stylist that did my hair but she said nothing could be done. I left and called back 2 days later and discussed with someone else. They told me to come in for consultation with Molly. Molly came up with a great solution to lighten my hair up and make it more flattering and palatable. I am SO PLEASED with her work. She understood my concerns and executed a good solution. I really appreciate the time and effort she put into correcting my color. For her, I give 5 stars! I am typically in the area a couple of times a year so I will always ask for her from now and only let her do my hair. For the person at Ulta that did my original color, I give 1 star because she not only didnt listen to me as to my desired outcome, she also didnt offer to help address it when the color came out to dark. The actual store is a bit of a mess, disorganized, staff do not know which products they do and dont carry and where to find them, and does not have a manager so I give it 3 stars.

Went in to look for a new foundation and Scott was amazingly helpful! He spent all the time with me I needed and never made me feel rushed or bothersome! Great customer service! The Anastasia foundation he had me try was the prefect blend of not too heavy but enough coverage! Thanks Scott!

Its ok, everything was pick over, or out of stock,I waited for 10 minutes at the bare minerals area to see if I find someone to help me with makeup, ended up leaving because none ever seemed interested in selling me anything .Still spent 85 bucks.Ill probably just order from online from now on, you get better customer care that way .

Spent a lot of mulah here. I get my facial supplies & Hot Tools flat irons from Ulta. Love the vast inventory. Recently tried this new lengthening magnetic lash mascara & love it!!!

This is the worst Ulta I have been in. Store not stocked with hardly anything. Everything looked out of sorts and messy. Very nice check out gurl at counter but the other girl in there was just walking around on her phone texting while there’s obviously a line of people at the counter.

I would give them no stars if i could, I made an appoimtment yesterday and they were nice, confirmed it text me and then called today and said she cant do it. I said well i only have Sunday off i guess ill go somewhere else and she was perfectly fine with it, didnt even care I would take my business elsewhere. and from the reviews ive read its probably a blessing.

Kalia was soooo awesome and helped me out with everything that I needed! She was a breath of fresh air because this type of service is not usually offered at this store! The cashier was very polite as well!

One-stop beauty shopping!

The selection of beauty products were organized and clearly labeled. I had a wonderful shopping experience. Large scale of quality products .Highly recommended.

This was my second time at this location. The store isnt stocked well. The staff weren’t friendly at all and didn’t acknowledge us or anyone else that came in, they were just standing around talking. I remembered quickly why I always order online or go to a different location.

Really disappointed with the service i received! Went there for a make over, which i had an 2pm appointment and i didn’t leave to after 4pm which cause me to be late for retirement ceremony. I often expressed to the stylist that i had somewhere to be. She insisted on shaping my eyebrows and i told her i liked my eyebrows thick and full only for her to wax them to her liking. She waxed the end of my right eyebrow completely off and said she would fill it in. She seemed to be very inexperienced which caused me to get very frustrated. I will not return to this location for a makeover. If i could rate zero stars that what they would receive.

Stopped by yesterday afternoon and no one spoke to me ask me did I need help. I had to go the front of store to find someone and ask for a product. Very rude I will never go back glad they didnt have the makeup I was looking for. I will continue to shop at the Oxford,Ms store

My wife has tried booking appointments twice at this location and has been turned away. The first occasion she went in on a Saturday and spoke with the manager looking to book an appointment for Sunday and was told to give them a call the next day which she did only a few minutes after they opened and was told that they didnt have any appointments. The second time was today. She first tried to book an appointment online and the appointment would not go through. So she went in store and was told that no one had booked an appointment for tomorrow and they would not be there even though she was there the day before attempting to book an appointment.Thank you Ulta Beauty of Southaven for making my life difficult.

Horrible experience in this store on Nov 5, 2019. Manager had a bad attitude, untrained employees, and not friendly. Inexperienced with the products inside the store including the manager. I did a refund and my money havent been returned on my bank card yet, because they hire inexperience people without properly training them. I will not be shopping with Ulta anymore, I would rather shop at Sephora!! Employees at this location need to learn work ethics.

My daughter took me here because I was looking for a specific product not found in a department store. I was truly amazed by this store! They have EVERYTHING a girl could want 😍

Awesome. My hair stylist Fallon Spence. She was nice and very professional. The facility was very clean. Their variety of products were wonderful.

I love the salon here, a great atmosphere!!! Pamela is the best, her hair color is always on point! Also she does my hair extensions and they are always great. I have never been disappointed! Would recommend her to anyone.

Initially I was not happy with the service. I went in for a perm, paying over $100, only to have completely straight hair 2 hours later. Over the next couple of weeks, management worked with a new stylist... After some conditioning to rehydrate my hair they did another perm which turned out beautifully.

Love to go in this store and browse through all the make up selections.

Managers are suppose to be the leaders and show there employees how things should be handled. Instead at this store it was the opposite I went to go buy “OGX-Biotin & Collagen Shampoo” they only had the conditioner on the floor so i asked the manager Kandice and she told me whatever is on the floor is what they have. But i had my doubts so i sat in my car after i left and did an online instore pick up order. My order was ready in 2 hours meaning they did have it in stock in the store she was VERY LAZY to go check. The next day when i went to pick up my order Taelor was so helpful and I also complained to her as well. It was really was not convenient how i had to make two trips to the store because of a lazy manager.

They have all of the top make up lines. They stock the best curling irons and hair dryers. Great and knowledgeable staff.

This place is amazing all of their makeup the people there are absolutely extremely nice they are Cooperative they work with you are very patient I love how the store was set up they answered any questions that we had with no hesitation they absolutely are the epitome of excellent customer service and I recommend this place and the makeup they have their such a huge selection and absolutely loved it

Best hair cut and color Ive had in years. Never go anywhere else again. Not to mention, any and every beauty product you could ever want all in one place. Seriously will never go anywhere else again.

Horrible service every time i go in the Southaven store. The employees really don’ t care if you are there -or not. I had them look at me struggling to find an item and keep going!Also the entire store line of Ulta products was empty! The upkeep is horrible. Then when you get to the register you find the store coupon which comes in THEIR mailer excludes literally everything they have in stock. It is a sham . I get such better service at Sephora in Memphis. Too bad we can’t shop locally.

Love ULTA! The shelves are always well stocked and you can find all your makeup needs there. They always have coupons and specials going on.

Theres good and bad..... The manager was helpful but some of the younger cashiers are unbelievably rude.

I love ULTA but the Southaven location has come sarcastic arrogant cant-be-bothered people working there. The woman with the bleached blonde dreads needs a serious attitude adjustment!

I have called many times about a palette that I have wanted and each time they give me the wrong day and wrong time. It is to the point to where it is ridiculous. I learned from one of the workers there that the lady I was talking to misinformed me because she wanted the palette for herself and they sell out very quickly.

Ive never had a bad experience here. Be it just shopping or coming to the salon, cannot go wrong

Jessica did a fantastic job! My haircut is better then I hoped for.

First time shopping there. Its ok. I wouldnt buy any of the normal brands that you can buy cheaper at Walmart. I went looking for eye liner. I browsed around some but they dont sale many good brands that offer decent ingredients. So most are really not much better than getting the stuff at regular stores.

I don’t normally give reviews, but every time I shop here there’s always this woman who’s very rude. The manager said her name was carrie or something. She will tell you that you can’t use a coupon in store when in fact it is an in-store coupon. She gets frustrated when she is wrong and will go to another employee to switch places so she doesn’t have to deal with a customer she doesn’t like. She’s the one who looks like she has lip injections. Overall the others are friendly and I would enjoy shopping here more if they got her under control.

I have been coming here for YEARS and will NEVER come back! I got there today and got the rudest person that didn’t really want to help! Also they were completely out of my foundation! Y’all are a COSMETIC STORE, how the HELL are y’all gonna let makeup get out of stock?? Told the lady I was so disappointed and she RUDELY told me to have a great night! Ulta, SHAME on YALL! Small nice store, was not busy at all but the two sales associates had no Manners, I got no greeting or acknowledgement when l walked in the door, thats not welcoming at all I was displeased with this. And when another woman (white woman) that I guess fit the standards of being spoke to was greeted i felt very proplexed.

Tried to make a return on facemasks purchased for Christmas. Need some serious lessons in customer service. I have never been treated so rudely. Have to be a member to return products even with a receipt??? My daughter tried the previous day to return products with a photocopy of the receipt and was denied!!!! With all the ads and signs saying if you dont like our products even if it is open we will return in 60 days. This is the biggest joke!!! I will NEVER step foot in ULTA AGAIN!!! Would gladly pay double elsewhere based on this experience!!!

Im rating them 3 stars because I had to wait for service for what I consider a lengthy amount of time but when Melissa came she was great with recommendations on cosmetics that I needed. The biggest drawback was when I was ready to checkout, I had a gift item that was from Melissa because of the amount I had purchased. I told the cashier that and she got on the intercom to confirm my account. I felt like a petty thief. Im accustomed to dealing with ignorance so I digress.

Ulta is the place to go in order to not have to drive to a million different beauty stores. They have a ton of different brands and lines of beauty products from high end brands to brands that you can find in drug stores.

5 stars because my daughter and my beautiful wife love this store. To me is boring and if youre a guy like me, is better be outside or browsing on your smartphone. Another thing, you leave the store with perfume on your clothes.

I visited Ulta again to purchase an item I misplaced a month ago. My previous experience was not good at all. I was not acknowledged and was made fun of for asking Where I could find a mirror to try on sunglasses. No one wore badges that day and when I asked the manager she stated the store is going under new management so they didnt have new badges. 😒 (true story) I was treated like an unwanted house guest.Today I must have walked the isles over and over and over looking for a specific product. I stood next to an employee for a long period of time who happened to be sitting and stocking. We were so close I heard her breathing. She never acknowledged me. I finally asked if Ulta still carried the product or is it possible they were out. She replied in the worst attitude without even acknowledging me or looking my way if we have it is there. ( in my mind Im thinking helllllooo....hiiii.... Im over here. I replied I didnt see any does that means youre out or no longer carry it? Yeah she replied. (Yeah?? to which part Im thinking). Thank you and I walked away. I remembered later that this was the same red hair lady that tossed my bag to me my first visit there.I went to checkout and was asked whats your phone number? (I provided it) Whats your name?. I asked why was that information being requested. Brittany (who happened to be wearing a name badge) took a deep breath and signed. She kept typing without a response. I asked again and she replied to sign you up for rewards. I replied No thank you, this is the last time Ill visit ULTA.I have over 20 years patient/customer service work history and I can recall customer service to include a Hello. Did you find everything ok? Can I help you find anything today? Did anyone assist you today? Are you a rewards member? (I am) Would you like to sign up? These people feel as if I/ the customers owe them something and for that matter they did not need to provide Great/good/mediocre Customer service. There may be a few great employees there but on each of my visits, I didnt have the pleasure to have an encounter with them.Overall 👎 Customer Service training needed.

I normally love this store but yesterday I went in and had a bad situation upon checking out. I went in the get nail polish. OPI to be exact. I got one bottle with a BLACK top it was a normal one that was $10.50 and above those polishes was another row of OPI with silver tops a shiny version which were priced at $12.50. So I got my stuff and went to the front to check out. So my polish didnt have a sticker and so one lady went to the isle to get another to ring it up, but no she didnt come back with the kind I was purchasing she came back with the same color but one of the higher priced silver top ones to be able to charge me $2 more than what I was supposed to. That money is not a big deal to me but I do have a problem with a company trying to rip me off when I come there to spend my hard earned money. Ill just be going to other stores and Sephora from now on.

Got my hair done there & loved it! Really good products for skin care, hair, nails, etc. .

I picked up 2 Neutrogena eyeshadows. There were sale stickers all over the rack that stated buy one get one half off. Great! At the register they did not ring up that way. I was told it was only on face powders and foundations even though there were sale stickers on the eyeshadows and mascaras. I was not given the sale price. I usually dont shop at Ulta and decided to try it. I wont shop there again.

This store kills me! I spend $100-$200 every time I shop there and upon checking out I always ask for a few samples to try something new. Like clockwork I get a dippy doe eyed look and No Im sorry you didnt buy anything that qualifies for a sample today . Are you serious? I can go to Sephora, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Lancôme, etc and spend the same amount and get a handful. I can buy online from your website and get samples. Why the death grip?? I see now why youre losing business to Sephora. Im a platinum member so clearly Im prepared to drop some money. Its nice to try it first to see if you like it, thats why the reps give them to you.
