Wow, this place is fantastic! The food was incredible and the service was top notch. My server Brandy made great suggestions and was great. Ill definitely be back.

Today was our first visit here and it was extremely busy and we thought we would be waiting a while like we’ve experienced at other places. Nope we were greeted and given a table within 2 minutes. Everyone there was absolutely amazing and so much fun and worked together no matter who’s table it was. A big thank you to our waitress Stacy. An absolute sweetheart. And our breakfast was amazing. New favorite place for breakfast on the weekends

Exactly what we were looking for! Homemade cooking, big portions and fair prices. Best biscuits Ive ever had. Everything was so good I forgot to get a picture of the food, so heres one of my clean plate!

We were in the area for a wedding and I always try to find local restaurants to try. I found this place for breakfast and it was great! The place was packed but we were seated in 5 minutes. Sarah our waitress was wonderful! As busy as it was I expected to wait a bit for our food but it was ready in less than 2 cups of coffee.Everything the 4 of us ordered was very good and plenty of it.Thanks to all the staff!

The wife and I were in the area, we try local Mom and Pop restaurants. We found this place online. Easy off of the interstate and what an experience. We walked in the door and not only were we greeted by the waiter but a couple of locals told us to sit on down. The food was delicious, our waiter was pleasant and funny. Wonderful atmosphere we will be back when in the area.

Staff makes you feel extremely important. Amazing food, healthy portions and wallet friendly. Drawback is closes at 2. 😔

I was visiting my friend in Southaven and was going to eat breakfast on a Sunday before I left to come home. We were going to try Cracker Barrel but the wait was 55 minutes. We got to looking and I saw this place listed and decided to try it. We were glad we did. Very friendly, home style, family restaurant. I had the country fried steak and eggs for breakfast and was very pleased. The service was great, food came out quick, it’s is well staffed. My buddy later returned in the week for a burger to which he loved. He now has a non chain place to get breakfast or lunch and feel like a home setting

The food was excellent. Waitress was the best. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The music was great. Put you in a good mood. But it was the food. Very well prepared and seasoned. Highly recommend. I had breakfast and my friend had vegetable soup to die for. Would definitely eat there many times.

Good breaksfast and good service u will see us hopefully next year also. Just good food and service and a hell of a good biscuit and gravy and the waitress was very nice polite. That is really good service also. We come there for vacation to see family.

This little spot is pure FIRE!!! It is a great little diner with a very friendly staff. You need to know this part. Get something with bacon. Its seriously good. They close at 2 so get in early. The coffee is good too!

Always a great experience. We decided to try something new about 2 or so months ago. We had such a great time with good food, this is our new spot. We have been about 3 times since then. The atmosphere is great, people talking across tables, its great. Their very friendly. My 2 yr old loves putting on a show for everyone while were in there and everyone loves it. I highly recommend this place. Like being in grandmas house with great food and friends all around.

It was good. I was hungry, just got off of work so I didnt get enough. Service was good.

We were not impressed. Waited over 30 minutes just to be seated because they will not pull a table to a booth for 7 people. Also seated a group ahead of that did not even have all their people there. Breakfast looked great but we opted for lunch. It was a total an hour wait before we could even order food. Burgers are not very big, doesnt even cover the bun. Young waitress had a really bad attitude. I ordered a salad, she didnt ask what dressing I wanted until she brought salad then told me they only had 2 dressings? I asked her seriously, she said well I think they more. Very unhelpful, unfriendly. My husband asked what kind of cheese they had and she acted like he was crazy.We are out of towers who come thru several times a year. We will not be returning this restaurant. Place was very, very hot too. Felt like they didnt have air on at all and it was in the 90s outside.

Best homestyle cooking restaurant!Breakfast is my favorite there. The staff know my husband and me and what we want to order. On the weekends, you might have to wait for a table to become available, but its well worth the wait! Love all the staff too!

Too long of a wait. I saw people coming after us, getting served first and finished their food and here we are still waiting 1.5 hour to be exact. You’d think the food is worth the wait but no. It is not. Food it’s just ok. Not worth the wait.

This place is great! Delicious and very filling. The staff are super nice and it seems like all the locals dine here. We saw 1 police officer and 2 FedEx personal while dining. Will definitely visit again

Left a bad experience waiting to happen at the Dennys on Winchester and came here for a great experience. When we walked in it was crowded but we were able to find a seat due to the seat yourself service there. We were greeted in a very short while by a friendly waitress who told us she would return for our drink orders. She returned very promptly after taking the dishes in her hand back to the back. We ordered our drinks and upon her return we ordered our food. The food came out just as quickly. During the course of our small wait, another waitress stopped at our table to make sure we had been serviced. The food was very good and their price and serving sizes made the meal even better. I got breakfast although it was 11am and lunch was also available. A small drive from where we were but WELL worth the drive!!!!

My wife and I love this place. They offer wonderful customer service environment is very energetic the food could not get any better. We tried at once when we were visiting out here before we bought our house and it is becoming our ritual to go once a week.

Went a couple of weeks ago for lunch I had country fried steak, mashed potatoes. My husband had country fried steak, fried okra and white beans.Pros: the service was great. Waitress was friendly, prompt, kept our drinks full, and got our orders right.Cons: this IS a small diner so the cost was obviously frozen, precooked, then thrown in a fryer, however it was still cool in the middle, with the hot gravy we made due. The beans were terrible. Nothing but mush, like they scraped the bottom the pan. Could not eat them. The fried okra was fine. We will be back for breakfast but not for lunch anymore.

The diner was like something out of mayberry, in fact a photo of Barney Fife was on the wall at my booth. Food was very good and quite reasonably priced. The wait staff was very attentive.

This was some of the best food Ive had in awhile. It left a heavenly aftertaste and the service was beyond exceptional. Love every single bite. Everything was delicious. The Pancakes are sooooooo good!!!! You walk in and seat yourself, your silverware is at your table in a cup. Its a very interesting set up, but the food is great! Also they have the good ice!

Country Skillet food was amazing along with the great prices! I was greeted as soon as I walked in to order takeout. Food was brought out quick and fresh! I found this place via Google. As a 20yr old African American woman, the atmosphere of the older crowd customers (maybe over 60 years old) made me feel as if I was intruding their space as soon as I walked in. I visited around the time they opened so it was only about 5ppl. It seemed as if the energy shifted but the staff was welcoming which made me feel better. I may try this place again and provide an update.

Im eating their biscuit as Im typing this. Very simular to my grandfathers biscuits in taste, which I havent had in 11-12 years. This place is must go to for breakfast!
