Manager of store flat-out lied to my face adding services I didnt approve. I previously had a 4K X1 cable box for about a year that my family was happy with. However a few weeks ago I decided to have more channels added to my plan and I was informed by Comcast online system that I would need to get a new cable box. I received it by mail and it was the non-4K box which in comparison is ridiculously slow to change channels and streaming services. I went into the Xfinity Store on Telegraph & 12 Mile in Southfield to ask for a 4K X1 box and they appeared happy to help- while they told me they didnt have any on-hand they could have one shipped to me. I agreed and this morning I received a new Cable bill for $15 more than to what I agreed and I didnt even receive a new cable box. Not only did they never order the cable box for me, they also added a higher-tier package for which I had never agreed. I called Comcast this morning and was informed me that not only did I agree to a higher package but the Xfinity Store never even placed an order for a new box. Ive been on the phone with Comcast for 25 minutes so far to fix what ended up being a waste of time going to that store.

Devron is always professional! No matter how busy they get he’s always multitasking professionally.. he will still greet everyone as they come in. It’s so hard calling in to Xfinity ( they don’t speak English well)The experience is much better when you go in.Devron is very professional and knows the brand well! I asked 100 questions and he was still professional!I have sent two people so far to change mobile companies based on his customer service and my experience with my devices so far!
Associate Gwen was the best!I live in Waterford and come downriver to care for my cousin, I feel far away from home down here. Gewn welcomed me immediately, asked how I was doing and what she could assist me with as soon as I opened the front door to Xfinity.Fast service with accurate updates on wait times also following social distancing, having customers wait in their car for safety.Gwen was professional, the store was clean, items on my list taken care of, happy customer!
We spoke with a very nice young man when I stopped in with my mother in law to get new remotes. The transaction was completed quickly and professionally.When we asked, he said that we just pressed the Setup button and then followed the onscreen prompts.It was much more complicated than that. Once I consulted the instructions, it was not that hard, but my in-laws by themselves would have been overwrought.
I arrived to address several issues- switching my cell phone service to xfinity mobile, getting a new modem for my internet service and getting a refund that I was due. This team has great customer service skills. They are knowledgeable, polite and professional. The store was very busy- one customer after another. The place is very clean- they wipe off counters and seats after each customer. Brittany the asst manager was fantastic. They addressed all of my issues.
The rep was very couteous even when a customer wasnt courteous to him and interrupted him while he was attending to me. He was kind and considerate and ensured every concern I had was completely addressed. Anything he couldnt answer right away he immediately sought the answer and provided the resolution. Kudos to him!
Has anybody ever tried to call an Xfinity outlet, no such thing. Every call goes to the same 800 number with the usual 30min .. and you can never speak to a human being.
I had a fantastic experience at this location. Devron was my representative and he made sure to go over everything with me regarding starting internet services. He was very professional, personable, and funny. I also enjoyed my interactions with the rest of the team present including Brandon R., Donovan, and Immanuel. They truly made it an easy trip. I wasnt sure about going to a franchise location, but they were able to take care of all my needs and the person in front of me in line. The place was very clean and the counter was washed after every customer. I didnt catch the name of the gent who helped me, but he was very helpful and understood what I needed before I finished explaining. Would recommend, but avoid going after work, it gets busy.
Brittany was extremely helpful. The store was very busy however they moved us along pretty quickly.I reccomend scheduling an appointment. There was a line if someone walks in with an appointment you will loose very spot.
So happy I finally found a store I can go in and pay my bill. They were friendly and store clean was in & out literally

I had a 4pm appointment and arrived about 15 minutes early, checked in via text message. Received reply text that I would be notified of when to come into store. I received no message. After seeing person after person go in and come out I decided to go in. Talked to a young man who seemed either tired or just plain rude. Decided to stay with Verizon for mobile service. No deals, special offers given or polite service. No thanks.
Brandon was very helpful, he was very kind and friendly. He help us to get our service done in a very short time.

I have to say just how proud I am of these young professional men that manage this branch. They were all knowledgeable of the various products and programs that Xfinity offers and they were extremely patience (especially the gentleman named Immanual ) as he had to interact with mature senior citizens with limited technology knowledge. This gentleman was just amazing, he never displaced any signs of frustration as he had to repeat the hookup instructions several times to ensure that we fully understood what needed to be done. He would make any parent/guardian proud!Outstanding job to this Xfinity Branch!!!
Came into this Xfinity location 07/04/2020 only store open. I just came in to return equipment Godiva & Donovan reviewed my account and lowered my bill by $130 dollars!!!! Can you believe that. I couldn’t I cried they were so amazing, great people to talk to, very fast I just love and will return most definitely you guys have to most definitely check this location out ask For Godiva or Donovan you will not regret it at all !!!
There was one guy working. He had to go to the back and get the other two workers. TheyCame out after 4 more customers came i was the second customers then another lady came in...then they couldnt see the note from the phone call...

I was very upset when I walked in the door and was ready to cancel. I was greeted by the staff and was told someone would be with me shortly. Zoe assisted me and was able to correct my issues. In fact, all 3 associates were trying to figure out my issues with my internet service. Zoe never gave up and was determined to figure it out! And she did! As a result, I am going to give Xfinity another chance. Zoe saved you from losing a new customer. I really appreciated her commitment to make sure I was satisfied by the time I left even though it took us way after closing time. Thanks again!

Myron the manager was incredibly responsive and provided the help i needed. After spending 4 hours on the phone with little assistance from the off shore help desk, i went to the store and got there before they opened. Was third in line. The employees were very helpful.The 1-888 phone in help desk was stressful, with 40 minute wait times,would not allow us to make an appointment with a tech and only offered 3-5 day shipping of a modem. Don’t waste your time with the 1-888 number! Just conti the store.
The salesmen Donovan as well as the manager tried to scam me into paying a higher price than what the website said. When I proved them wrong by showing them online (including taxes and fees), they tried to get smart and not admit they were wrong. Terrible place. Stay far far away. Completely unprofessional!

They do not have a payment kiosk. The staff was rather unfriendly and the lines are long. No different than trying to get Comcast customer service on the phone-pointless!
Only store open during covid great customer service took care of all my needs no problems at all kept me updated on everything funny group of people with beautiful smiles my rep was Godiva she’s great they are all actually great they are the best please check them out I love them I will be back
Zoe & Eric are literally the best employees ever. I came in wanting to disconnect, and these two made me believe in this company again. Please, never call the corporate line, GO TO THIS STORE.The store is also following all COVID protocols to a TEE. Highly reccomened.
I have a problem with the sound of my tv that has background static. I was given replacement cables which didnt fix the problem so I added a HDMI connector and now have a much clearer picture...with a shhhhh sound which is the real issue unresolved. The rep was.nice and looked very young but unhelpful. I was upgraded to a new box but my old box did not have the sound issue this new box has and it is the 2nd one provided.

Awesome people & great service!I had been going back and forth with Comcast/Xfinity for the past month and finally got my service activated in my new home. However, my modem was outdated and I needed a new one. I came into the store to swap out my modem, to which I thought that everything was going to be easy.....I shouldve known better. All the chats and calls I had with Comcast resulted in the representatives messing up my account.At this point, I was ready to leave and blaze a hell path on the next phone/chat representative I spoke to. Instead, the retail representative, Eric, took the extra time to look into the matter and even helped me speak to the comcast representative over the phone to get the situation resolved. Meanwhile, his colleagues, one was named Zoe and then another gentleman (I believe he was the store lead at the moment), were very personable and I overheard them helping there customers in the same professional and consultative fashion.In the end, Eric got my account issue fixed, Zoe assisted a customer understand how to work their cable box, the lead helped a customer save money on their monthly bill, and I was able to leave with a new modem that crushes the capabilitiesof my old one. I thank all of you, whether we interacted or not, as it showed me that Comcast/Xfinity has some quality employees within their company. I wish you all the best!
