I called all the time and can never get through to anyone. I did have an amazing color melt done by Amber and Sarah that, unfortunately, faded in about 8 days and, although staff was comforting to me, they said there was nothing they could do and I just felt for a hundred plus dollars I needed something that would blessed and Id be able to enjoy it a little longer than a week. Ive not been able to get them on the phone now for weeks Oh. I thought they must be close.
Amber in the salon was awesome! She did exactly what we wanted on my daughters hair and it turned out way better than expected. Super personable and great to be around. We will be seeing her again soon.

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went to your store today for multiple items that I frequently buy there and was abruptly greeted at the door by a RUDE salesperson. She told me that I must put on a mask, even though this is the 4th time I have shopped in this store WITHOUT a mask! I will NOT be back in your store or another ULTA. I would rather spend my money at stores that allow our God given rights as Americans. ESPECIALLY after our governor has lifted all mask mandates.
Very rude employees thankfully Texas is so big so I won’t have to return to this location.
I have spent a lot of money in this store. However, today I walked in and not ONE person asked to help me. There was parking in front so I knew they weren’t busy. Three girls chatting at front said hello but I need help on info on a product. Nobody approached me the 20 min I was there. When I started to walk out, someone said “did you find everything you needed?”.... I said, “no, not one person helped me”... that was it!!! This store is located in a very prestige city of Southlake. I will be taking my business to Sephora up the street.
I went in here the other day to pick up a few items and pick out a new foundation. I cannot thank Valerie enough... she was so knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful! They were out of my concealer and my color corrector was being discontinued, but she was able to recommend other products and color match (even though everything was covered/sealed due to Covid). I tried everything out and loved everything.. and the colors were spot on! Store was clean as well.Thank you Valerie for all of your help!

I went today to find a new foundation (I am not a frequent makeup wearer and makeup application is not a natural skill set for me). Kayla was amazing and incredibly patient with my questions and asks in a foundation. She also took the time to check store inventories in the area when the foundation I selected was not in my color.The store was clean, well organized, and marked for COVID-19 compliance.

No matter what time of day I visit, they only have 1 cashier working while the line backs up. I waited over 20 minutes to buy 1 item the other day. There are multiple other staff that could help with registers that are standing around talking. Very disappointing customer service this location.

I made an appointment to get a haircut at 10:30 and at 10:50 I asked how much longer it would be. I wastold 10 more minutes. Not sure if thats true or not, but I have to plan my time accordingly because I have little ones and I cant be out all day just waiting. I told them I could not wait so I left. One of the ladies was understanding, not rude. This place will not work out for me since they do not honor appointments.

I went in today and had a great shopping experience. I was helped out with a product I was needing. Also when it was time to check out the cashier Alexis was very friendly and her customer service was superb. Even my ten year old noticed and told me while I walked our the door how sweet she was.

I must say that this is one of the best experience I have ever had in many years. I was once a cosmetologist and I believe that this ulta has one of the most talented hairstylist I have ever came across. This stylist listen to my ideas, she was respectful, and oh my god let me tell you... she gave the best shampoo and condition experience! I kept falling asleep after a long week from work, this young woman has made my day. I love my haircut and the style! I havent felt so Amazing in many years!!!! I keep getting many compliments on my new haircut!!! Thank you so much! I plan on coming back. This is my reference to Candice D!! Ulta.. treat her well.

Ride or die for this Ulta. Love this Ulta. Walking into any other Ulta just doesn’t feel the same. The place is crammed with good products, knowledgeable sales people that are stressed because they are constantly understaffed (not their fault), and the sweet, sweet scent of materialism. Drink in the prettiest and best-kept store of all Ultas while you get a reasonably priced hair cut. Enjoy the fun atmosphere. Chase a fallible youth. Clearance section to the back right.

I accompanied my sister while she returned some internet purchases. What i did notice was that the attendants were all very helpful, the store was very clean, air-conditioning working, and plenty of make-up products to keep any princess happy.
I have been coming to this location my entire life. I live close by so its convenient. Not only though is it convenient but the service has always been amazing. Hira the manager here is the sweetest chick ever! She makes you feel so welcome and like your bff. She also knows her stuff, which is just an added bonus. Its customer service like hers that keeps customer loyalty high and us coming back.
This is the worst Ulta store Ive been too. I had some gifts to return for store credit and the cashier girl told me she couldnt just give me free money. First off how extremely rude and secondly returning something for credit isnt free because youre RETURNING something. The manager is horrible as well; told me theres nothing she can do without some form of receipt and didnt know what I wanted her to day. How about an exchange?! Which she didnt even mention. Do yourselves a favor and dont waste your time and money here. The Euless location is a lot more helpful and kind.

Customer service is seriously lacking here. I came in today to return some gifts that were Ulta products and did not have a receipt. The manager at the time (1:45pm 2/6/2020) seemed annoyed and said I couldn’t return anything without receipt. I know that I could at least receive store credit. So I had to pull up the return policy on my phone from the ulta website and came back to show her that it says I can in fact return without receipt for store credit. After still arguing with me I had to show her on my own phone and read it out loud to her! She then said that I wouldn’t get much anyways bc it would be the lowest $ anyone had paid for it. Just rude attitude and such a hassle for what was suppose to be a simple return! I don’t know how a manager does not know the company’s own return policy. This is another reason I choose Sephora instead.
Some very pricey cosmetic. But also have cosmetics that the average woman can afford. You need to read the labels and specify to the employee helping you what your looking for and the price range you can afford...expensive is not always the way to go. But ULTA is the store to find what your looking for. Employees are friendly and very courteous and seem concerned that your happy with your choice and there selections that might help you to decide on the product right for you

I would not recommend the hair cutting service. They have a lot to choose from but the store doesnt always seem clean. Staff have been hit or miss. some are extremely friendly while others dont care.
Worst place to return stuff when you ordered stuff online. They will ask everything questions. 1. Where is the confirmation orders slip? Which I have 2. Do u have the confirmation order? Which I have on my Ulta app 3. Do u want the credit card that you order with? I told them I left it at home and I have my debit card. They said NO! You can’t returned it. I just don’t understand y they don’t have a better technology system to track the customer orders. Spending $400 in two weeks and this place give me unpleasant experiences. Good lucky ladies if u planning to return.
I have been a customer of Ulta since I was 16 or so I am 25 now and HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED THIS WAY. Not only that I used to work for Ulta as a side job in my younger years. I am now a Manager in the customer service field and I am appalled at the experience I had at this location.On Saturday 1/20/19 I visited this location to find some gifts. As soon as I entered I was not greeted which was fine as a previous employee you cant say Hi to everyone right? Well then I am walking around the store literally just having a fun shopping Sunday with my boyfriend. 2 minutes in to our shopping trip we notice all eyes are on us not only that but there is this older white woman in a pink vest following us around the entire store. At this point I had 2 items in my hand. No one asked if I needed assistance as all employees with ear pieces on starred at us. SO RUDE but I get it I am wearing dark clothing, I have a beanie on and a small purse O and Im Mexican so yeah all signs point to Im going to steal something in Southlake. I looked over it as a Latina you get used to people as this. Then I asked the MAC associate with red hair to assist me in finding brushes which she did no problem and was very sweet. As I am crouched down because the brushes are 5 inches from the floor and poorly labeled trying to find the correct one, I as well as my boyfriend notice helicopter Helen in the pink vest is literally following so close she could trip over our heels. Not to mention where I am crouched is right in front of the registers like there isnt enough employees around. At this point I feel harassed and very annoyed. I stand up and my boyfriend just to see what Helicopter Helen would do casually walks down 3 aisles and there she is starring right at him following him. We could not believe our eyes as we are both in customer service and WOULD NEVER TREAT ANYONE LIKE THIS REGARDLESS OF SKIN, RACE, RELIGION OR CLOTHING. We spoke to our cashier Mindy who was very empathetic after hearing our experience and told me she would pass the message to her manager. I literally left because I felt so uncomfortable and even more annoyed that I had to go to another location because of the way I was being looked at. We did not want to make a scene so we left the store and there Helicopter Helen was STILL STARRING AT US did not say have a great day, thank you for shopping with us as the previous customers who left seconds before we did got. After I called the Manager to express my concerns regarding my experience he assured me he would review the footage and make this a learning opportunity. Which at that time could of been respected but looking at the previous reviews, it seems as though the stores Manager and higher ups do not care how people are being treated. I will never in my life shop here again. I totally understand people steal from Ulta all the time. Its one thing to notice suspicious behavior its another to straight harass someone for wearing a beanie and being colored other than white. I would hope someone would turn this store around or learn how to train someone correctly. It is ridiculous for a store of their stature to have as many negative reviews as this one.- Sincerely a Latina who will never allow someone to treat me as I am less than.
As someone who doesnt know very much about makeup, I found the shop associates there very nice and made the whole experience of finding make up less intimidating.

Normally I would be giving a good review, however, todays visit was to return damaged goods from an online shipment I received. I ended up taking my damaged products back home with me to search for the confirmation email to prove my method of payment!? I had the original packing and receipt from the shipment. Either the return policy is 50 years behind times or the customer service gal did not fully understand how to handle the situation.

Honestly a lot of the girls in here look like clowns! First time i went in I felt like i was being followed around by two women. And the girls at check out usually are very cold and speak as if you don’t know anything about beauty products.
Every time I visit Ulta I always find the store staff friendly, helpful and willing to assit with any question I may have. The only problem I have is every time I get use to the floor plan, they rearrange the store. I know this isnt the Store Personals fault, however, it is just a bit annoying when your looking for your favorite lipstick & all of a sudden its across the store.💋🍀

3 months later and i will never return to this location. Was personally attacked by a mananger because i asked for the coupon to be honored from signing up with their store card. She accused me of using it even though i signed up online that same day. She threatend me & made me feel so uncomfortable & not a customer at all. I made a complaint & asked for the distric office to call me. However general manager called me the next day instead & accused me of being a bad customer. WHAT? How is that possible. He was a very awful & accusing person who in no way wanted to make the situation better. What a horrible experience. I will never give them a sale & make sure to tell everyone i know to never shop here. Worst people i have come across

I bought a Naked 2 by Urban Decay for my daughter, at the Southlake TX store, back in October, for a Christmas gift. She opened it and noticed the colors werent right, so she took it back to an Ulta store, by her school. They are the ones who told her that it was a counterfeit and they couldnt exchange it. I no longer had my receipt and of course I paid cash. I understand the store policy, but I bought a fake from THEM, and that is what gets me very upset. I never thought I had to think before I bought from Ulta, but now I will go elsewhere where they dont sell counterfeit items
Katherine is extremely unprofessional..she left toner on for 20 minutes and the color was dull a d ugly. When I complained to the manager, Angie, she said to come back to have her a put a clarified in..go back to the same unprofessional? This place is a joke!
The benefit brow lady, whose name I totally forget, is a DEAR. She is the sweetest and most fun person ever. I will definitely go back to see her, and she made me look so so good!

Found out I paid way over retail for mens Kenneth Cole cologne. When I called to bring this to the managers attention he said there was nothing he could do. WELL THERES SOMETHING I CAN DO MAKE OTHERS AWARE IF YOU BUY SOMETHING AT ULTA AND YOU ARENT SATISFIED YOU WILL BE IGNORED! No attempt was made to make this right including returning the product. BUYER BEWARE!
This review is for the SALON. I am a first time Ulta customer and I was curious if I could use my gift card for the salon. Yes, I read the print on the back and it said it varied. I called on a Friday and the girl who answered the phone said her greeting so fast I asked her if she could repeat what she said, and she said Do you have a question or something?. I said Salon please, and before I could even finish my words I was hearing elevator music. The Salon picked up and a guy by the the name of Michael answered and he was so nice and friendly, I asked about specials and if I could book my appointment for Saturday, he was a complete change from the girl on the retail side. When I was giving my info for being a first time customer he noticed I was a Scorpio and briefly chatted about that and set me all up for my appointment with Katherine Pilgrim. The next day I met her and she asked me what I wanted to do to my hair and she was so nice, there was conversation not silence, in fact all the stylists were having conversations with their clients. She executed what I wanted to a T. I will be back in 6 weeks for my trim!

Customer services sucks!! I went to the store today to return something, and I returned the items before the 60 days, no I didn’t have the receipt but I do have have the awards members meaning they can track my order. They didn’t give me my money back they decided to put the money on a store credit, when I am allowed to have my money back, that’s when I saw the policy of returning. And so I let the manager know, and she agreed about what I said. But said she could not do anything about it. Honestly this place needs new employees
Always out of everything. Ive been told to go after their truck comes but it doesnt matter the day of the week I go, always out of something I need. . Staff is more concerned about their conversations instead of helping customers. Brow bar is terrible and they will argue with you on the service you need instead of just doing what youre paying for. I do not recommend this store. Go a little further to shop at Sephora!!
The staff here is rude besides the girls at the brow bar. I had some older lady come up to me and try to pitch an eye cream, which is fine because I love skincare. She told me good benefits about the eye cream and then insulted me on my eye wrinkles that I have. Im 21 years old. She was very rude when she made that comment to me. Now Im 21 with concerns about eye wrinkles. If Im selling a product I wouldnt insult the person youre trying to sell to.

This place is one of the first ritzy cosmetic retail store I have ever been too. Although too rich for my blood, the staff were kind and attentive to our needs.
*Brows Beware* Extremely disappointed with the quality of care I received at Ulta Southlake. After a brow bar mistake by Alexis, where she waxed off a patch of hair I specifically asked to be left alone, the manager Hira came to “help” which I requested a product from that would be best to fill this mistake in which they tried a few things, it’s hard for me to fill in my brows being so fair skinned and a red head. Along with her comping the botched brow wax I requested ULTA be responsible for covering the cost of the brow filler since it was not an expected purchase when walking through the doors. Hira and her GM James Reese said all they could do was 10% off the product leaving me with a $25 purchase, which is not acceptable in my opinion more could have and should have been done. At the checkout Hira also accused me of being upset and needing to calm down after my above request, well yes I’m upset after having my brows I’ve worked so hard to fill in, messed up. The entire staff was very unprofessional especially Hira, not once did she even apologize on behalf of her employees mistake. Again very disappointed with the brow bar experience and overall Southlake ULTA experience after I have always been very happy and satisfied by services at the Alliance ULTA.
I asked if they had a certain size of a perfume I wanted and the lady went to the back and never come back to tell me yes or no. I wasnt impressed with the staff.

The management is TRASH!!!!! You’re constantly being watched & getting judged by the General manager James. The other managers seem annoyed every time you ask for help. I seen a customer get loud with an employee bc she didn’t know where something was and the managers did nothing for the employee. They have horrible customer service and not worth your visit.

I bought sun bum chapstick. It was melted and missing a HUGE chunk as well as a hair like string. I noticed this five minutes after I bought it and politely told them this and asked to exchange the lip balm but the second one was melted and broken at the top as well. When the associate argued back with me that it was because of the heat and so I suggested that they might want to check the rest as the heat can harbor bacteria (I am a physician but of course they rudely questioned my credentials) and the manager was also very dismissive and rude. The costumer service was absolutely awful. I am loyal to Ulta but this is just baffling. A overall fine place with terrible costumer service.

Terrible customer service on my visit today. From the Black lady that had an attitude when I was trying to figure out the Lancome blushes that werent marked properly to the old lady behind the counter that refused to take my 20%off coupon. Awful store.
Today this girl with red hair and red eyebrows ...Was helping me find a concealer but, her attitude was really bad. No expression what so ever and kept telling me to look up while she put the concealer on and I swear the brush was like running in my eyeball. Everyone else was very kind but, the few times Ive gone there this girl and some other girl I think who quit or must have been fired because, she wasnt there today but, little did I know I ran into the same situation. Idk what is up with these Hispanic girls who think just cause they work at a department makeup store they are better than you and want to treat other women less. Which by the way Im Spanish and I have an education (Registered Nurse) but, even if I didnt I would never act that way. Dont act miserable just cause you are unhappy with where you are in life.Please Ulta watch who you hire !!!I really hope someone else felt the same way so she can be gone!

I shop at different Ulta and Sephora stores all the time and repeatedly have terrible service at this particular location. I feel bad even saying this because I worked as a cashier at a different Ulta for a long time, but checking out at this location is just miserable and I feel like the cashiers dont try or even care. They never have a copy of the current ad and will make you pull the $3.50 coupon up on your phone (I also get terrible service in this store so pulling the coupon up takes forever and is very awkward). They can never find the correct free gift with purchase. They really just seem annoyed to be there and it takes all the fun out of shopping here.The only reason I even gave this location two stars is because there is one employee who always goes above and beyond. I think her name is Amy but she is the Benefit Brow Bar worker and she is always happy to help. I have asked her questions about hair products, OPI nail color questions, and she always gives good advice and never seems annoyed you asked.I love going into beauty stores to try the products and see everything in person before I buy but I am so annoyed with this particular Ulta. This location is so convenient so I am seriously begging this store to get it together. I really want to shop here but if this service continues I will start shopping at the Sephora in Southlake Town Square, Ulta online, and even drive out of my way to visit the Ulta in the North East Mall. Please!!

If I could give a negative star I would.I was told I would get a gift with purchase but when a girl with brown hair who was wearing an orange shirt (had no name tag) said they didn’t have anymore but she didn’t even look and the cashier next to her had the same situation she told her customer she could give her something else and when I asked my cashier she said “no..I don’t think so.” And made a face.She didn’t even ask the appointed manager at the time and when I told her the other cashier did it she just shrugged and called the next customer!
