Staff was very friendly and helpful other than the girl running the register. I had bought my grandson a costume but when I mentioned to an employee the included mask wasn’t in the bag, he told me they were kept in the back and went and got the correct mask. When I checked out, she scanned the costume ($30) and the mask ($30). I explained the mask was included and she informed me it was not. I told he the bag stated the mask was included and another employee had given me the mask and it had the same number on it as the costume, she ended up with a smart attitude over it.

Staff was nice, even with the crazy amount of people in there. Stock was low on some items I wanted, but I found some substitutes. Most customers were not masked, but staff was masked.

They were out of stock of a lot of options. I was searching for prize ribbons but settled for medals. There were several employees but the wait to checkout was too long.

Did have much to choose from but helpful staff..

Purchased large balloons with helium on June 24th they were completely deflated by the 26th. When I called the store they said the balloons only last 24 hours. I know this isn’t true because I’ve purchased them in the past. They lasted a month or more. Customer service was not helpful. Very disappointed and will NEVER purchase from this store again. There is a complete and total lack of competent sales associates at the Spartanburg, SC location. I arrive at the store to pick up my curbside order two hours after I place my order. I have yet to receive any notice that my order was ready. I call and the guy that answers says it’s still processing but will be ready by 8pm. I call again at 8:10 and a lady tells me it’s still processing. I cancelled my order. I’m hoping to see my refund sometime this century. I absolutely understand it’s two days before Halloween, but it shouldn’t take more than an hour to grab a pack of plates and a pack of napkins, much less the two hours the website and app convey in big, bold letters.

Since when is customer service not important. No greetings, how may I help you or are you ready to check out since I’m standing in front of you. I understand sometimes you need to have your phone on you for emergency only but clearly the cashier was just using her phone for personal use.

Fun place for a dress up party

I picked the wrong day to go!! They must have just received shipment as boxes were everywhere on the floor stacked up against one side of aisles so you couldnt shop one side and the back aisle was completely full at back of store...made it very difficult to shop. I understand when shipment comes and you have a small warehouse and have to process stock..but no one was working on stock when I was there. I worked big box retail for 23 years also as a receiving manager and you need to at least make your sales floor shopable when open for business or have after hour process so you can be ready for business.

Went to buy a petticoat, but needed a long one, not a short one. But, no trouble in returning wat I bought.

I need to learn to read the fine print. A sign read 4 for $1 on table covers...I totally missed the very SMALL FINE PRINT that said with a $25 purchase . Imagine my surprise at check out ...read the fine print!!

A great place to shop for pretty much any of your party staples. The prices are a little steep on some things but is sure beats driving all over town to try to find things when you can get them all under one roof. The store is always clean, well stocked and well organized.

Ordered online for curbside pick up sat there 20 minutes after going on link and putting ive arrived finally called got hung up on with attitude. Called back rude as well got my name wrong. A woman finally after 15 more minutes came out asked me my name. She finally got my order out I should have just walked in

Great place to find all manners of items for your parties. Good prices, so good you dont realize youve grabbed 100 dollars worth of items for your sons first birthday. From loot bags, to cake toppers, to banners, table cloths, balloons, plates, cups, silverware, hats, numbers, theyve got youve covered. The employees could use some coaching lessons for customer service is my only negative comment. Oh and they fill all your balloons for free if youve purchased it from any party city. COOL BEANS!

Great selection of party products and awesome staff. Party City has goods that very few other stores offer. Their prices can be high, but its a one stop shop for any event you may need to host or purchase for. The workers are usually nice, and most can point out where anything in the store is, even walking you directly to the item in most cases.

Usually has exactly what I am looking for. Great, helpful and friendly staff.Edit...stopped in to buy 2 not inflated balloons. I waited in line to check out for 20 min. There were 4 people working the specialty balloon counter and one person ringing up customers. I kept hearing the employees asking where another coworker was at but no one ever went to go find said coworker.

I love the stuff they have in the store. As far as customer service its not that great. Ive tried calling a few times through the day to get pricing on getting balloons filled and they never answer. They are a bit over priced for some items. I would give a three star but im big on costumer service and they just really lack in that.

Rude staffs! No one asked if we needed help, the girl taking costume order had a nasty attitude, the man that brought out the costume threw the costume on the cart and walked away. I rather come get my own costume then deal with people who hate their jobs.

11/12/17 at 10am my family arrived to the store to an employee standing at the door saying that she was the only employee that had arrived today. She said we were welcome to come in but, there is nothing I can do for you until I get a cashier here. And I have to call her now. We entered and the lady ran to the back spewing mad. Totally understandable to be flustered in that moment and frustrated to be the only one who showed to work that day. We collected our items we needed and headed to the front where she was on the phone with another employee. After cussing so loudly in front of my 2 and 3 years olds she proceeded to hang up the phone and asked what we wanted. I kindly asked for 6 light pink balloons. I even commented to my 3 year old how good the lady was at putting the ribbon on the balloons, trying to help her mood and brighten her day.. Nothing appeased this ladies fumming attitude and behavior. Every time the door opened and a customer came in she ran over and said, I thought I locked this door, you cannot come in. I stood back and expected to wait on another employee to arrive before we could check out. She then said, Ill ring you up over here. Rang us up and let us out the locked front door where other customers waited to come in. I was dumbfounded at her behavior and tissy. I would NEVER leave a bad review like this but today was the final straw for this store for my family. February we had a similar experience and then returned to pick up a balloon order that had been lost. In August the wait and attitudes we experienced on a slow Tuesday morning were out of hand. There are other options for balloon pickups and online decoration orders for us to continue to have to experience this type of atmosphere when we visit the spartanburg party city. I understand being frustrated and having a bad day, but cussing in front of children in a party store and being incredibly rude to costumers coming in is beyond me. Being nice and calmly explaining a situation costumers will result in much more understanding and pleasant environment.

Good selection, decent service, but disorganized. To be fair, it was near Halloween, but they had small, messy displays of Halloween stuff mixed in all over the store.

Everybody has sent someone to the store to get something for them and they got the wrong thing, plus everybody doesnt have an email address.so make sure you keep up with receipt or you will be suck with something you dont need!!
