My daughter & I love this store. Its great to have it in town when you need a gift. Its well kept, organized, with a great selection. A fair amount of art supplies, for kids or adults. They except cards or cash. My daughter received a gift card from a friend, which came in $2 toodeloos cash coins. Made her day to count by 2s to find out how much she could spend. Its a little bit expensive. However, competitive to other higher-end toy stores Ive seen. & Well worth the convenience.

This was the BEST place to find gifts for my grandkids!!! It didn’t hurt that the owner was just a darling person 🥰. Just wish we had a shop like this back home!

My mum went in to shop for my daughters 13th bday (we always shopped there when she was younger but thought she had outgrown a toy store. WELL). Awesome Experience - Very helpful!I needed a gift for a toy donation drive, and wanted to patronize a small business. The toy had to be Paw Patrol. I live in Salem and even though Gloucester isnt that far, there was no way I could work in a trip up there by the time the donation was due. The owner worked with me on Messenger to pick out a couple of items that were in my budget and of a good size to meet the donation request; she was always very responsive and answered all my questions. She was also very willing to ship to me. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to visiting -and patronizing - the actual store when I am next in Gloucester. I will of course have to bring my 6 year old with me!

Such a cute store to get gifts for kids or art supplies!

Toy store maybe but professional art supplies is a hard no. You can tell by the empty paint racks and the random selection of what appears over stock that they might have at one time offered professional art supplies. Those days seem long gone and have been replace by cheaper student grade alternatives. They say they could special order for you but the few times I have requested something I have never been called back. A few years ago this used to be a great place for art supplies. I was so disappointed to see my home town local art store with empty paint racks and such a limited selection. Shopping in a store inspires me to try new mediums outside of what I use professionally. I otherwise would never consider them in an online setting. Unfortunately this no longer is the place to do it.

I popped in today and found a kindred spirit. Had such a wonderful time talking about the function of games and the developing mind. I purchased the happy salmon and funky chicken games. Good thing for my pocketbook I had to limit myself to what I could fit in my luggage or else Id buy up the whole store. Wonderful place.

Best art store on the island

Toodeloos is the best toy store there is!! I always find great, creative, unique gifts here for birthday presents and anything else I might need! My 3 year old son also approves! It doesnt hurt that they always have the friendliest staff and I always have a fun experience when I shop at Toodeloos! 5 stars for sure!
