Paid for two guides got one. Found out the guy that helped me book fishing trip didnt even fish. Said the fishing had been great lately and that a 7 year old would easily be able to participate. My son did learn a few things from the guide but definitely not worth spending the money on this

Great customer service and stood behind their products. Our sons starter kit broke next day and they made it right even after we lost the recipt. Made 2 trips here during or time in the black hills and it will be a destination stop on the next trip

Small, but nice selection of items

I brought 5 of my kids (ages 3-13 but mostly on the older end) in with me today, and this was how we were greeted: You brought the whole tribe, huh?Hi, yes, par-Just make sure they dont break anything k cause we have fragile stuff in here, dont break anything, theres a lot of cool stuff in here so be careful. You guys dont touch stuff k theres some stuff you could break.Well, okay, we really just wanted to look in at the bookstore.Okay, yeah sure but theres some really cool pottery back there, be careful you dont touch anything, dont break anything. Just make sure they dont mess with it.Perhaps High Mountain Outfitters could spend some time working on their customer relations? Ive never had anyone proactively condescend like that, talk in a manner that assumes kids walk through their door with the sole intent to break things, that people with children are idiotic and dont know that they need watching and guidance around breakable objects. BTW, why are reviews turned off on your FB page?
