We purchased these cabinets in December 2020 through Online Cabinets Direct. We have worked with Shane Doyle, who has typically been responsive, which has helped. However, this process has been disappointing and frustrating.The first shipment was poorly packaged and some of the worksmanship was lacking, which resulted in several doors and drawers being damaged either with scratches, cracks, and a poor paint job. We had to send back most of the doors and drawers. Additionally, the wrong corbel was sent as well as 2 different types of side panels for our island being sent. We had to email the vendor, send pictures of the damage/issues, repackage the items and weigh them. The company did provide shipping labels and we shipped the doors back to them. A few pics of the damage are attached (we had 21 pics in total of the damaged doors/drawers and some pictures had multiple pieces pictured, so you get an idea of how many items were damaged).They sent the correct island panel and even though the package clearly indicated that this was fragile and not to stack anything, the box was tattered and the panel was completely split in the corner seams, so we had to send an email and photo of that damage. The correct panel eventually came with the next shipment.It took several weeks for the doors to come back. This time, some of the doors were correct, however, there were still many issues: still missing the corbels, never received one of the cabinet doors back, and although these doors were wrapped better, it now looked like they wrapped the doors too soon after painting, so the wrapping affected the paint and left a weird texture on many of the cabinets. Additionally, there were some nicks and scratches on some of the doors and panels too. Also, a few extra doors were sent erroneously. We went through the same process of emailing, sending pictures, repackaging, weighing, and shipping the doors off.We received the 3rd round of doors on Friday, 06/18/21. These doors were packaged very well, however, one door was still split at the corner seam, one door has scratches, and another door has a rough texture. Additionally, we still have not received the corbels or the missing cabinet door. We have emailed, sent pictures, and now will need to repackage, weigh, and ship again.Overall, the cabinets seem to be decent, however, we did have an issue with one of the drawers not working correctly. The only reason we are not livid about these problems is because our renovation project has been severely delayed for other reasons, so we just had these cabinets sitting around in our house as we werent ready to install them yet. However, our renovation is scheduled to resume in a couple of weeks and we need all of the pieces of our cabinets in order to complete the renovation. Prayerfully, these cabinets will hold up during the installation and for many years to come.This process has taken almost 7 months and we still havent received everything. We know that the winter storm that affected TN had some impact on all of this, however, 7 months is excessive and egregious! We will NEVER order cabinets online again because the headache is just not worth it. I shudder to think about what this experience would have been like if we had not had renovation delays. We would have been without a kitchen.Update: The owner replied and despite my detailed review and pictures of the workmanship, the owner is blaming the dealer. The owner indicated that they are just responsible for the manufacturing and packaging of the cabinets, which have been the primary problem with these cabinets.

I had a great experience here with Kelcy and Timberland. Everything my wife and I asked for we got.. and more! The cabinets are beautiful and everyone we interacted with from Kelcy the sales rep... to the guy while delivered the cabinets and finally to the installer were in point! You can’t go wrong with this company!

The cabinets produced by the Timberland Cabinetry Company are amazing. Youre getting a handmade quality cabinet made of solid plywood that fits together instead of having screws and cams bearing the weight. There is no particle board in these cabinets! If youre having trouble with the front office or the sales and installation team, it may be worth having a designer or contractor to set expectations and handle your design work. From the perspective of a dealer in Kansas City with my own installation team, Im ordering and receiving a high quality cabinet consistently. Timeline is usually about 4 weeks which I consider to be very normal for this kind of product. I have another order arriving this week.

I built a custom home and my builder used Timberland Craftsman cabinets. These are the cheapest cabinets I have ever come across. I have had sturdier cabinets in military housing and section 8 housing. If I could give one star I would.... spend 30k on cabinets worst quality than the unfinished cheap cabinets at the big box stores. Avoid this company at all costs if your builder recommends them find a new builder because all of your materials are probably garbage like these cabinets.

We have had our Timberland Cabinets for a year now. Over the past year we have had several cabinets and drawers come unscrewed and fall away from the cabinet boxes. The hinges and the drawer glides just pop right out of the cabinet boxes. Timberland has been out 2x over the past year to re-screw things back together. Now we have three more cabinet and drawers that have come apart and I can’t get a response from anyone at Timberland. I have called 4x. Each time I have to go through giving them all my information and explaining the problem. They then say someone will be in touch with me but I have yet to hear back from them.It’s been a very frustrating experience and the quality of cabinets to not great.

Our new kitchen cabinets are beautiful. We have received so many compliments when people walk in our newly remodeled kitchen. They are stunned when they see the cabinetry. Kevin Lacey went above and beyond to make sure everything was correctly installed and any questions answered immediately by personally coming to our house to check on every bit of installation and adjustments. The quality is amazing with solid wood cabinets with all the latest features. We are extremely pleased and have recommended friends use Kevin Lacey at Timberland Cabinetry for their new build.

Timberland did a wonderful job with our cabinets. They look just beautiful! Kevin was great at communication and got back with me when I texted/called him. I will say it was a process. Took 7 weeks to build our cabinets and then for install, they were there to install and then had to come back a couple of times to finish up the handles and then the trim. Just some time management skills needed and this company would be superb!

I don’t know how to give zero stars but they definitely deserve zero. My bad luck that I have to deal with them ... my builder installed cabinets from timberland but now they also left them ( very reputed builder Jones company).. quality was not bad hence wanted to do similar patter in my home as original one. horrible people to deal with worst customer service.They don’t return calls.. service/ marketing manager feel he is doing any favor by providing you a quote. I decided not to go with them but wanted to share this for benefits of others. If you are looking for a kitchen remodel or some extension don’t waste time. These guys seems getting business from some big builder and don’t bother about retail customer. Save headache and time . .

The common theme in contractors right now is “we are just so busy.”As a consumer, I’m ok with busy. I’m not asking you to drop everything you’re doing and put me first. What I am asking is that a contractor keep their word, return a phone call within a couple of days, and treat everyone how they’d want to be treated.Left a voicemail for the group, since no physical person was able to answer, but never heard back. Basic business skills - create a six month sales funnel.I can’t imagine leaving money laying on the table. Apparently these folks, like so many other folks, are so rich they don’t need any other money. We surely won’t be doing business here. If they can’t return a call when I’m trying to provide them business, I couldn’t imagine what it’d be like during the install.**Their response below says it all. We are busy and can’t call a potential paying customer back. Wow! I’d probably have not responded at all if that’s all I could come up with.**

Local builder here. Used timberland on several jobs. First 2 went fine but service and quality of craftsmanship dropped significantly after that. Deadlines and install dates are missed by weeks, not days. Promises are aplenty when trying to schedule installations. They gave me a date of July 29 for install. Called them on July 29 because they weren’t there. They told me cabinets were just now being built. It’s difficult to reach anyone that can give you an answer and follow through. One star.

Timberland Cabinetry was a delight to work with! The kitchen and bathroom cabinets they installed in our new home are gorgeous. My husband and I couldnt be happier with the quality. Called for three weeks to receive estimate for cabinet purchase. No one ever answered the phone. When I was informed by an intermediary that the total price was $2950, about $400 more than I was quoted my second and last time in the store, I wanted to know why the price was higher, asking for an itemized estimate. Refused. I called the home office to report this. Many days later, the zone manager called and left a message. I returned her call, left my message. No response from her. Customer service as bad as Comcast.

I deleted my comment but I had an issue removing the star. I was very interested in working for your company and so I was doing some research. With the negative reviews, I see that it is due to no correspondence. I had an interview two weeks ago today and I still have not received any sort of response. I wanted to be the one to answer the phone for your customers and handle them accordingly. I have even called myself and left a message but nothing.

I honestly don’t know how they can be that busy if they treat everyone like they have treated me, I’ve been in show room 4 times, no call backs, called and callled, finally had to ask for management and I finally did get a call and I’ve tried for 4 weeks to give them my money, then guy says we are 10 weeks out and I’m ok with that but the 4 weeks I’ve tried to get them would have been nice, gave them blueprints and callled 3 more times and still no call back, I’m wanting two sets of cabinets and this is Ridiculous. The first day I went in there there were no salesman and nobody up front but I did talk to the guy that worked in the back he went over everything explain to me what they do how they do it and I was very satisfied with him and have been trying to give them my money ever since I just can’t get anyone on the sales team or management to have the heart that that guy in the backyard so I’m out does anyone know of any other cabinet makers ?I’m tired of trying

5 Stars! I don’t normally post reviews for anything or anyone, but after reading some slanderous reviews.. I felt the need to leave an HONEST review. Timberland Cabinets, their entire staff, as well as the owners are FABULOUS to work with. As an interior designer AND a Design Consultant for a vendor in a similar field - I can honestly state that a delay in response as well as extended install dates that are not to a typical homeowner or contractors standards are VERY NORMAL during this time of year for all vendors in the building field. There are ‘seasons’ throughout the year that are caused by builders and commercial jobs and have been in the works for months - these clients are wrapping up their custom homes or commercial buildings and NEED cabinets (in my case, countertops). Those jobs, as they have been in the system for month are priority and probably get put on the schedule 2-3 weeks before you even called to inquire on cabinets. What goes from a normal day at the office turns into running around to meet deadlines. I can assure you it is the same for most vendors, including Timberland.So please, before you leave a hateful review due to not planning ahead and now are immediately needing cabinets because your kitchen or bath are empty.. please keep in mind that most people call weeks in advance to make sure things run smoothly. And also keep in mind that humans are running these businesses and have a lot on their plate that have deadlines. Instead of calling multiple times, maybe ask for an email that you can send a request to for cabinets and I promise you will get taken care of as soon as they have a moment.Timberland Cabinets is amazing and one of the most honest businesses I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. From one vendor to another, you guys are amazing and these reviews that have been left lately are false. It is busy season and some of the jobs you guys are pushing out cabinets for, we are then pushing out countertops for. Hang in there!
