Ruben saved my Sprinter AND my wallet!A different Sprinter shop in Austin, where I live, botched multiple repairs which resulted in my breaking down. They were trying to then sell me $7,000 in repairs to fix their own negligence. I needed to find a second opinion from someone who really knew Sprinters. I had my van towed 160 miles to Spring, TX just to get Ruben to look at it. And I did not regret it!Ruben and his technicians had me fixed up and running for a fraction of the cost. Ruben also patiently and thoroughly answered my questions over the course of many long but pleasant phone calls. He was very assuring-- he even drives and maintains his very own T1N Sprinter.When I picked up the vehicle and met Ruben in person, we were all chatting and laughing. He took the time to get in the passenger seat and go on a test drive with me to show me his confidence in the repairs. Then we opened the hood so he could educate me about the work he had done and let me see it with my own eyes.As I left, Ruben reminded me that I have his number and to please call him any time with any questions. Even if its just to make sure someone else isnt ripping me off.If you go to the Sprinter Specialists and there is a wait, fear not. Hands down best mechanic shop I’ve ever used. Im from out of town and was working in the area when I mindlessly put gas in my sprinter. Knowing I was far from home, the company went above and beyond and had me back on the road the next day at a very low price. Do yourself a favor and service your sprinter here. I stopped in after only a phone call after traveling 3200 mi from Portsmouth NH. The crew at Sprinter Specialists could not have been more helpful. I left my Sprinter in storage to fly back home for the Holidays but will be having the crew at Sprinter Specialists do some more work on my rig as soon as I fly back. I recommend them highly.

Brought my 2015 Roadtrek Sprinter RS because the trailer brake lights didnt work while on vacation. Worked us into their schedule and diagnosed it as needing a new trailer light module and even stayed past their working hours on a Saturday to do it. They next day aired in the part, installed it right when they got it. Works like new. Polite and courteous in every interaction. Very reasonable hourly rate. Would highly recommend for any Sprinter issue.

I paid $200 to get diagnose and I dont believe they did .. they did one problem and didnt mention the other 3 problem so I took it some were else and they diagnose and told me the problem I ask them about it they said the codes never came up .. when they had the van I cleared the codes from changing battery and the codes went away until I got the van back .. I have 3 stars cuz they did do some work

Best place ever

Before purchasing our Sprinter Van, my husband and I wanted to make sure all the mechanics were good.We took it to Ruben, and to say the least, he was AWESOME! Not only did he do a full inspection, but he took time to tell us the ins and outs of the van, what to look for if something goes wrong, and little details that would be helpful for the future. It is obvious that Ruben has been doing this for a long time, but it was was even more apparent that he TRULY CARES!Thank you, Ruben.Although we are from Colorado, well be coming down to Texas whenever we need our Sprinter looked at.

If I could give 10 stars I would. A couple of weeks ago I was traveling cross country when I found myself stuck in Texas with a bad turbo actuator in my sprinter van. I couldnt find a single store or dealer that carried the part. Finally, I contacted these guys and within a few hours I was back on the road. I am extremely grateful for Maritza, Rubin and Thomas. These guys dealt with me when I was in panic mode and got the job done right away. Very highly recommended. Thanks again guys!

Dont take your Sprinter van to any other place! I recently purchased a Sprinter van from a dealership and had Ruben and his team take a look at it for me. They discovered major flaws with the exhaust that would have been thousands of dollars to repair. Luckily, with the help of Ruben, I had the dealership purchase the van back due to potential EPA fines. Ruben and Maritza were both extremely helpful and honest during the whole process. Would highly recommend this place to anyone with a Sprinter van.

Wonderful experience, Reuben and Maritsa were terrific. Three mechanics could not figure out the problem I was having in seven months. Reuben had it figured out and done in a week for 1/3 of the price. Dont waste your time with other mechanics if you have a Sprinter problem. Take it to Sprinter Specialist you wont regret it.

These guys are awesome. I had to drive 170 miles in limp mode for an emergency fix during a cross country journey and these folks hooked me up in one days time AND found a few simple fixes for some unrelated problems that would have been calamitous had they not found them. great service, friendly as hell and they have a superior knowledge on all things sprinter

This place is the best. The owner is awesome and staff is polite and very professional. I brought my sprinter Ambulance for them to check it out so they spent about an hour or so and decided not to charge me !! Although we already agreed for charges. I was traveling from the Rio Grande Valley. All kinds of warning lights and check engine lights turned on during travel. I found this place just by luck. The staff is as courteous and helpful as can be and took care of the problems in no time. It was a Saturday and they understood my predicament and were good enough to attend to me immediately. These guys are top notch.

I was nervous about taking my vehicle to Sprinter Specialist (a ma and pop shop) because of a bad experience I had a couple of years ago with another shop. My brother-in-law found this place online. He saw the good reviews so I decided to take a chance and take it there. The owner, Ruben, was kind enough to let me leave my car there on a Saturday and informed me it will be ready by Monday. He did not charge me for leaving it there for two days. On Monday, he explained what was wrong with my car and gave me a great deal. The people there are kind, and treated me with excellent customer service. If you anyone needs a great honest mechanic, I recommend this place to everyone. Good job, guys!

The minute I walked in the door, I knew I was in the right place. The owner was there with three techs that actually knew what they were doing. If you own a sprinter or a Motorhome on a Sprinter Chassis,.. this place has you covered. BTW an oil change here is about $100 less than at the dealership. Fast and Friendly,.... What more could you ask for.

They have always done a good job with all of our vehicles - especially our Sprinter Vans! 12/22/11 - I just recently had these guys work on my Volvo S60 and the vehicle is driving beautifully! If you are looking for a mechanics shop in North Houston that does great work on foreign cars then Sprinter specialists are the guys (Even though they dont advertise it!) Thanks again for making our Volvo feel like new again!
