Worked with Jermaine today, he was awesome... super helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us good tips on helping save $ on our electric bill. Timely arrival could have been better, but he had a flat tire on the way. Arrival was after my window of time. Thats all.

Had Davis Air come out due to AC not running correctly. The technician was prompt and very helpful. He found a leak in the coils. Ordered the new part and added Freon to keep the AC working. Davis came the following Friday and with a crew of three guys had us all fixed up in about 2 hours. They are always professional and friendly on the phone and in person. The technician even noticed that our house had been painted since the last time he was out and complimented my husband on his work.

I had called Davis A/C on at the end of the day on Friday after finding my system not working at all and they had a technician out on Saturday morning. The best part was the technician, Jermaine was very honest and communicated well with me on the issues my system was having. He walked me through what was happening and told me some options that would work. He also show me how to better take care of my system that I obviously not doing. Now it is up and running and I couldnt have been happier with the service.

Came out after hours to temporarily repair the AC unit, then followed up quickly to finish repairs. Super pleased with the service and experience!

Davis AC is a great and honest company a true 5 star organization. However, Jermaine their senior tech is by far one of their best techs within the organization. If I could offer 10 stars for the service I received from Jermaine with Davis Air Conditioning & Heating, I would do so in a heartbeat. I had an issue with my AC after a transformer nearby blew and caused my power to go out. It was only out for about 2 hours, but I woke up the next morning and it felt hot inside and I knew that I was going to need some help. I tried turning the AC on & off and flipping the breakers to no avail. I called their number on my equipment and to my delight, they said they could send someone out in just a few hours. Jermaine came and within a short period of time, my AC was working again. I am thrilled beyond belief. We *need* our AC in Houston, let me tell you! I highly recommend their technician Jermaine and this company if you have any issues with your AC. They will take care of you.

Davis AC is top notch! We have had Michael, Matt, and Corey come out a few times while our house is under warranty and they have all been super helpful and knowledgeable. Davis AC is a very good company that takes the pandemic seriously, the provide workers with N95 masks and they ask a questionnaire before the visit about possible exposure. We highly recommend them and our family members do too. We will be signing up for an extended service plan for sure!

Kevin was working with us until after 7 PM but he was so pleasant and he seemed truly happy to help.Davis was able to schedule us for installation one day later. The crew were very professional and they cleaned the garage floor when they were done even though I told them they could leave it and I would take care of it.Great experience!

David and team today were great! I was having some trouble with my dryer and wanted to make sure it wasnt the vents. They not only checked all the vents, but also gave advise on what to do next since the vents were not clogged. Would definitely recommend to my friends and neighbors

We love Davis air conditioning! They are a highly professional company. We trust them to get the job done. Our air conditioner stopped cooling, and they came out quickly. We were given a time window to expect them and not only were they on time, they were there 30 minutes early!! Our issue was fixed and we had cool air again within 30 minutes of their arrival. I will also add, they are taking every precaution given the Covid19 pandemic. Our technician had a mask on, and was extra careful to maintain proper social distancing. We are a high risk family and I felt comfortable with them working on our air conditioner.

They got a service guy out right away.. Matt was the service guy who came and was super nice and professional. He answered all my questions and got the job done quickly. Definitely recommend especially Matt..Super satisfied with the service I received.

Please read before using Davis AC!I originally had used Davis AC to perform a home inspection prior to purchase. They missed numerous deficiencies in the HVAC system that were revealed in the general home inspection report. Davis AC admitted their mistake and offered $100 off of a maintenance service. I used them to perform the suggested maintenance service in hopes of providing them with an opportunity to right their wrong. I initially thought they did a good job (see initial review below). However, days after they left we noticed a huge water leak in our upstairs ceiling. In summary, the technician forgot to turn our primary drain valve back on and left the overflow drain in an off position resulting in water overflowing into our return air plenum, leaking through the sides of the plenum, down the attic decking, through the ceiling, and onto our carpet upstairs. When I called their “on call” tech to come out and evaluate, he stated that it was too far for him to drive and that he wouldnt be able to fix the problem that evening so there was no point in him coming out to assess or help at all. I eventually got Davis AC to replace my plenum and insulation. However, they still have not paid my contractor for the ceiling repairs, and now my AC system cant regulate humidity appropriately. I have had Davis AC out to my house at least 6 times. This last time I was told that I needed to replace my condenser (condenser was working appropriately and passed inspection by Davis AC the previous 5 visits) and when asked if it would be covered by warranty, they refused to cover the cost of the repair. I had an old but fully and properly functioning system prior to Davis AC’s mistake and sequelae. I can not state how terrible of an experience I have had and how much I admonish anyone to stay away from this company.Original 5 Star Post: (retracted)My technician, Kevin, was outstanding. Kevin is very prompt as he arrived at our home and normally complete within 30 minutes when providing check up. Service was excellent .

I hired them for general AC maintenance. They rushed through the cleaning, were not thorough. They couldn’t answer why the original capacitor was causing issues (as all our lights flicker continuously when the AC starts). This issue started recently and they have stated the original capacitor is fine but tried to charge me an additional $470 for a capacitor.It seems they weren’t interested in providing warranty servicing for the original unit but instead focus on up charging. $470 for a capacitor instal is highway robbery.No wonder they don’t even quite the prices on the phone. You need a service to get up sold on the spot.

Kevin came by relatively late and serviced my water. He was very professional and did a great job in getting my furnace up and running.

The technician resolved the noisy of my vacuum fans issue professionally and did extra work to help me replace filter for my air conditioner.

Kevin has been our service rep a few times now. He is always professional, courteous, and takes the extra steps to figure out what’s going on. I can’t recommend him and Davis AC more.

I give them 2 stars for coming out, confirming what I already knew and collecting $99 for a service call. I got a call Saturday and the service writer quoted $1,768 on top of the $99 already paid. I needed a coil replaced. I explained that it was under warranty and it shouldn’t be that expensive. I even appealed that they were the company that installed my system when it was new 4 years ago. All he said was “that’s the price”. I found a great heating and air conditioning company in Katy with as good reviews who saved me $567. When they say that’s the price do your research. I’m not partial to the Lennox dealer any more.

He assessed my concerns, fixed them both, optimized some system settings that had caused issue and even did a video of ducts so I could see were clean!The technician was very polite and professional. He explained everything completely. He even re-locked backyard gate and replaced my little dog fence (so rascal cant dig under gate!)I was 100% impressed with the service.

We recently purchased a newly constructed house, Tilson. Davis came out to do the install. We have constant issues with the unit. Technicians are nice; however, I wonder how much experience they have within the industry.

Matt was on time, very professional, and maintained all three of our AC systems in a timely manner. Before he left, he made sure I didnt have any questions. Scheduled a preventative maintenance inspection of the heating and cooling units. Freddy was very professional and answered all my questions. He also respected my home using booties over his shoes, which did not go unappreciated. I was called on the day of my appointment and offered the option to reschedule at an earlier time, which actually worked better for my schedule. I would give Davis air conditioning two thumbs up so far for service and professionalism.

If you like waiting 3-4 days for your A/C to be fixed in Houston in the middle of June at 92 degrees, then this is the company for you. We are now on day three/visit 3 and it is still not fixed. The unit is only three years old. The main problem is they don’t bring the correct parts with them, they show up mid afternoon and only work until about 4:00pm. We have a 6 month old baby and this has not been fun. Even after raising hell yesterday (after visit number two with no fix), they didn’t even put us as the first stop this morning. I had to call them this morning to see when they were coming even after they promised to call me first thing. Totally unacceptable.

I had the most excellent service with Davis AC & Heating yesterday. Actually, the great service started when I first called and spoke to the supervisor Ashley. She told me a technician couldnt make it out to my mothers home for about a week due to scheduling, but after I told her why service was needed she fit us in within a day. The technician Alexis who came out was very courteous, professional, thorough and efficient. He explained how much the service would cost and detailed what he did after he was finished. He was absolutely great! I chose Davis solely based on Google reviews, having never heard of the company before. Im so glad I trusted the positive comments that other customers had written because they were spot on correct. Now, Davis will be my go-to company for all my AC and heating needs (and my mother really liked Davis, too)! I highly recommend this business.

The technician arrived on time. He was courteous. He wore a mask and covers over his shoes while he was in the house. He cleaned the outside unit and put tablets in the drain. When he was finished he gave me a full verbal report. I hope you send the same technician next time.

Outstanding service!!! We had lost our AC a week ago and called a different company to start. After four days they still couldnt figure out the problem, all the time it was 90° in the house. After four days, we contacted Davis AC and they came out the following day and immediately determined what the problem was and got it handled. Our tech was Freddy and he did a great job, letting us know exactly what he was doing. Great customer service! Fantastic follow up by the tech and the company. Ive been using Davis A/C the last 2 years and overall had a very positive experience. They are really friendly, helpful, and willing to walk you through anything. They have also gone above and beyond to help me with my home warranty which I greatly appreciate. My only reason for 4 stars is because some of the repair work they did broke after a couple weeks, so we were without air for a day or two, but they came out to repair it again for free.

I cannot say enough good things about Sean Souza as my go to tech for service from Davis AC and Heating. Sean knows his stuff and is completely dependable and thorough in all the services he performs. He is a man of high integrity and always has my best interest at heart!

Our service tech arrived promptly, and quickly completed the annual service on our heating system. He was very professional and courteous. We’ve used Davis Air Conditioning and Heating since we purchased our home 11 years ago and have always been pleased with their service.

Very disappointed. Called Davis ac due to good reviews, but my experience was that they very much tried to up sell things that weren’t needed. My service technician told me any repairs would be a minimum of $4k and I should really replace the unit. I had a second ac company come out and they replaced a small component for $200 and the u it is functioning well again.
