Good selection, courteous and helpful staff. Parking around meal times can be tricky due to the number of restaurants in the same shopping center.

Would have gave a 5 but went looking for reusable cloth for diapers and they had been out for over a year of each if the cloth and hadnt even reordered or said we will reorder it . I know you can purchase on line but it a minimum of 2 yards for each material u buy I only needed 1/2 yard as I was making belly bands for a Yorkie. The staff is very very helpful though always helping to the best of their ability.

They have many things for individuals who love making sewing, knitting, crocheting etc. And the cashier was very pleasant.

One GROUCHY employee made me want to leave and not look for what we needed. We did a quick scout but out of luck.We were thanked for coming in upon leaving but very courteous different employee at register.

Very helpful staff and a very impressive selection of fabrics for a small town store! Even though the prices on fabrics are higher than those in online stores, most fabrics are worth buying at JoAnn because you can feel the fabric, see the color, and get all notions and thread in one stop. And it always smells so nice in the store.

The selection of fabrics they carry is so great, it was all so nice that it was hard to make a decision about what to get. The people who work there were very nice and helpful. I only wish that there were more people working there that day I was there because they were very busy and the lines were long.

I used to love going to Joanns in our previous city. Unfortunately this one is very uninspiring. In my opinion it needs a big overhaul with the way the displays are done and with the items they sell. Way too much fabric ( and I love fabric!) and not enough seasonal displays. Or the shelves are empty. The fabric prices are also high in my opinion. I wish I could like this place but I cannot.

I would give you a 0 star review right now if I could. I just called over to the State College, PA store to ask about supplies for making Masks. I had been told that if we order the supplies from Joann fabrics that they would deliver them to your vehicle when you got there. The girl was very rude! We are trying to make masks to help out our Medical workers, and anyone who needs one. In this time you do not need to be so nasty. You were less than helpful. She didnt know and all she could tell me was we dont have masks right now I said ok we want the supplies to make them ourselves do you do this? we dont have masks right now. Dont expect this girl to help anyone out.

Its decent! This particular location looks like its going out of business and having a clearance sale every time I walk in. Its not, as far as I know, but the shelves often look a little too empty and the store a little disorganized. I think management needs to hire more employees and pay them more and expect more of them. At any rate, its a fine store, and the employees seem knowledgeable about the products and their location, so I do stop by here when I need things!

LOVE JOANN Fabrics‼ I really really wish they would put on in the Mill Hall/Lock Haven area. Walmarts fabric/crafts department may as well be non-existent...horrible !!!

Always going in with a good coupon and can never use it because everything is already on sale. But still love the store.

Helpful staff that helped save me money by figuring out how I could buy less fabric for my project. There was only one checkout line open, which lead to a very long wait time in the line. They did eventually open a second line, which helped.

This store is one of the very few in the State College area to offer a full range of sewing needs. Additionally they offer various craft supplies and home decor items.

Its always impossible to find specific products online. Cashiers in Joann stores are often rude and patronizing. With Michaels and Amazon putting so many different craft stores out of business, you might want to up your game. If the thing thats sets you apart about your business is that customers can touch the products and wander the store, dont you want to make that experience the best it can possibly be?

Whats not to love? Quilting and crafting under one roof! Staff is always great to work with.

The only reason I still go in this store is because it is basically the only place to get fabric in our area. I try to use the coupons they send me nearly every time, but whatever I get is always on sale and they dont allow that unlike other stores. The only way to use the coupons is to buy something I dont want usually.

FOR ONLINE!!!!!Wow....that pretty much sums up my experience. After waiting for the long page loads and having no clue as to what is out of stock until I go to add it to my cart I have to say that I HATED the experience. After finally finding some items that were in stock and using their .01 cent shipping code I thought the nightmare was finally over. Of course I was wrong!!! I entered my information, entered my debit card information, and when I clicked place order it brought me back to the payment page stating that my card could not be verified and to try again. I tried it again, and again, and again. I know its not me because 1)My online banker is pulled up as well and i have more than enough funds to cover the charge and 2)I just used my card to purchase something from ebay and there was no problem. I figured that if they didnt want me to buy from them then I wouldnt. I look at my online banker and wouldnt you know it, they f***ing charged me!!!!! I called customer service to figure out why this happened. I thought maybe the order did go through and I didnt receive a confirmation. Well, the customer service girl was nice, but didnt exactly help me. She said that if I go to my bank they can fix it....She couldnt tell me whether the order did get placed or not and pretty much Im still not sure what the heck happened. Of course the banks are closed today as it is a holiday, so I have absolutely no clue as to whether I am receiving my order or not. I figured since they had this great .01 shipping coupon that I would just place the order again and if I got 2 just return one, but every time I try to enter the code a message pops up that the coupon can only be used once per customer. That confused me even more because that would mean it recognized I used the coupon but I still have no clue as to whether my order is on its way. I do know I got charged for it and have no confirmation or tracking numbers, as my payment screen never took me to the summary page. I guess all I can do is keep my fingers crossed that either the money will eventually get put back onto my card or that my package is going to come.I would not recommend shopping on their website to anyone and I know Im never going to shop on their site again. I thought I could avoid the negative reviews I read for the store itself by going through their website, but even their website is ridiculous!

Power failure aside, it seems each time I get to the register, perhaps only one person ahead of me, (but with a big order), there seems to be a problem that the employee finds difficult to handle. There Ive stood, a spool of thread in hand, a long line forming, and the employee pokes along, seemingly like its her first time at the checkout. This happens one hundred percent of the time I check out at JoAnn Fabrics. I like there stock of items, but I dread going there. What a shame.

Layout wasnt intuitive. Seems like they spread like items around so you have to hunt through the aisles to get everything you need.

Not much to choose from. Im not saying all of the employees there are rude but unfortunately one of the ladies waiting on me - cutting my fabric did not approve of my project & she let me know it in front of other customers. I was so embarrassed that MY project was being judge by complete strangers!!!!!
