Everything you want from a Comic Book Shop!!! Right when you walk in, BOOM, there’s the new books, plus they have long boxes of back issues you can dig through to find the fillers you need and hidden gems. They have wall books with keys, a card section, all kinds of games and trade paperbacks, what more could you want. To top it off the staff is awesome, super helpful. They will help you find that book or comic you didn’t even know you wanted to read. There is something for everyone here. I love this place ✌🏼🖖🏻

I love galactic comics and games Ive been going there for over 20 years from Savannah to Statesboro.. Keith Brown and the staff are awesome..they have the best in comic books and games a large variety to choose from.. and their services is always spot on... I think I will be taking another trip soon

Great store with great staff! I just recently got into Warhammer and painted this model just the other day, theyve been very helpful and have a great community. Even when they dont have certain items in stock theyre always communicating why and when they expect restocks. Havent gotten to play a game yet but Im hoping to soon!

Amazing store for just about anything geek and nerd related! They have rows and rows of comics, they have card games, board games, and gundam models and even a small section for Studio Ghibli! Amazing store!

Keith is great we are like family to him, and he even got some great things for my kids visiting from Utah. He has stuff that not everyone carries.

Best place in town I go out of my way from Savannah just to get my comics from these guys! They are men of their craft they keep a very neat store. Everything is in order and organized. Not only a great place to get your new comics their dollar bins are even organized most places dont have dollar bins and the ones that do are just in shambles. If you can spare the time for the trip in youre not near its worth it. They have everything you need and more for your games too!

What an incredible find I was so surprised with the plethora of different gaming comic book repertoire from books on how to win the games to vintage games I was stoked I love coming to places where you can find rare finds in such pristine condition You can tell this is a regular visited shop it wasnt too busy but there was activity to show me that there is a big interest in collectibles in Statesboro Georgia famous for now collectibles comics games and toys of collectors Its like a regular trading shop

Galactic is probably the best comic and game shop in the Savannah area, even though it is in Statesboro. Ive been to 6 different tabletop, card games, and comic stores around Savannah in the past week, and none of them even come close to Galactic. The staff was so personal and helpful, the availability of their stock was phenomenal, and the customer base is also very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience today, but that is an all the time thing. Ive gone to this store for years and they have never disappointed me.

This places means so much to me and my dad, we used to come here all the time to buy comics and other gaming supplies. This is the best place Ive ever been to for gaming and comics. They have a huge selection of loose DnD dice and also a nice collection of pre-picked dice sets. They also have a huge variety of comics to choose from and you can sign up to get new comics reserved for you to buy! I feel as though I owe this place so much, thank you for everything youve done for the community and even just my family. I hope to see you guys again!

Friendly staff. They are happy to help you look for what you want and were great with assisting my friends who were new to comics. You can tell the staff enjoy their jobs and they always make sure to give me all of the new free promotional material they have every time I visit.

I have never had a bad experiance. The staff is always very helpful and are always up for a good conversation. I had first met them at a convention 4 or 5 years ago and have been going to them ever since. I drive from Savannah area out to their store because they take such good care of their customers and their comics.

I love this place! What a great space for enjoying comics and games! selection! Keith, Ted, and the rest of the crew are always a treat to chat with because they are always knowledgeable and willing to help. This shop also supports civic and community events. In addition to serving his customers, Keith also works assiduously to serve the community by sponsoring events that bring people of all ages and from all walks of life together.

Whats NOT to love about this place? Love comics? Keith, Ted, and the whole crew know their comic lore and craft! Each can fluently converse about characters, continuity, and creators with ease. Galactic also has a galaxy, no, make that a universe, of all manner of comics. Love games? Galactic has them along with any and all gaming supplies as well as a space to host gaming sessions. As if all that isnt enough, the folks at Galactic are kind and community-minded, too. Keith and his shop support the community and our citizens in any number of civic events.

I cant simply enter and leave without buying something from this store. The people are nice and professionals concerning things comic book and/or fantasy related. I totally shouldnt have at the time, but I recently bought a Star Wars book I cant put down. And by the way, you probably wouldnt expect it, but they have a restroom thats nicer than any Ive ever seen in this town.

Looks smaller than it really is from the outside. Friendly staff and lots of good nerd stuff for your nerd needs.

The store has an extremly friendly vibe to it. They also have a very well stocked number of various forms of geeky entertainment including: card games, tabletop games, comics, etc. The store operators arent too pushy with their sales either. They seem to have a healthy balance of attempting to help without the unnecessary annoyance of attempting to harass you into a purchase if they dont have what youre looking for (which is what Ive experienced at other comic shops).

I always love it here. They have a great collection of board games, memorabilia, comics and collectibles. Not to mention super awesome people and a good taste in music (always love their playlist).

Keith Brown is an expert in comics and card games. With his free weekend gaming sessions he has allowed a lot of kids and adult to stay away from the streets. The atmosphere is laid back. And he makes everyone feel that its okay to be you. My daughter has been going to his establishment for almost ten years and she loves every Saturday. She doesnt feel weird or uncomfortable. Thank you and your team for that. All patents should let their kids come here. Its a safe environment and kids get to be themselves and maybe even learn a game or two

This place is pretty awesome. Lots of locals visit here daily and on the weekends, you can always find a good crowd playing a variety of games. Well kept, lots of space, and smells like new comics and freshly opened playing cards, whats not to like?

Great store with a great selection of games. Prices are comparable with Amazon so if you have to pay shipping, you can actually save money by shopping here. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable not only about what they have in stock but about what games are coming out or newly available, as well.

Very very good experience for new people! Keith at the front was more than helpful, and even showed us to some easy beginner decks for new players!A few buddies and I came in super late, and they were more than willing to talk to us and show us the ropes.Cant wait to learn how to play and make our way back to the store for more.

Went for an adventurers league game (my first) with my wife (her first also) and had a blast. The staff was awesome and so was the store. A ton of games and lots of space. Highly recommend.

Awesome store. It has a great mix of comics, games and all the accessories that go with each. Their game night is always fun, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Ive always felt places that catered to hobby-related activities were not the most welcoming to first time visitors. However Galactic Comics is an exception, they want people to feel welcome. Check them out if you havent already.

A huge selection of miniatures and books, and super friendly staff! I particularly enjoyed the used miniatures section, lots of good deals there.

Very nice place to buy a gift for your friends or loved ones who are into this kind of stuff. They have a very wide anime selection I believe its called. The workers here are very informative and dont pester you when youre shopping around. They also do have game Game Nights from time to time which I believe were very exciting at least thats what my son believes.

I always look forward to coming here as its simply a great place to be. The employees know what theyre talking about, and Fridays are game nights! I got D&D characters, and figures to go with them for only about $5.50.

Almost certainly the best comic book & gaming store in this part of Georgia. I tend to be critical in my reviews, but theres literally nothing negative to say. Friendly employees, reasonable prices, and a local business thats been around for decades is a recipe for success, and hopefully Galactic Comics will be around for decades more. And unlike many comic stores these days, they actually have a massive back-stock of comic books, in addition to tpbs, gaming books, Magic cards, and a huge gaming space. Absolutely worth a visit if youre in Statesboro, you wont be sorry.

I went there to play in an X-Wing tournament and had a great time. Store stock was OK - Im a miniatures gamer and their selection beyond the old standby GW stuff was not great. Its understandable for a B&M retailer. The gaming area is very big, well-lit and they have tons of tables and scenery. If I lived nearby, Id be a regular.

The first time I walked into galactic I was a little nervous. I wanted to get into comics, but really didnt know anything about them. The staff were friendly and introduced me into the world of comics and even got me hooked on some of the games they have there!Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in anything they do there.
