Great friendly people.Just repainted their parking lot.

It was closed when I passed by but there is a really cool bronze statue of the famous blues singer and creator of Statesboro Blues rift, William Samuel Blind Willie McTell later made famous by the Allman Brothers.

I took a group of my students to the center for a field trip. We were given a personal tour of the current exhibit, and had a wonderful time.

This is a very friendly place where you can buy a coffee mug that says, I woke up this morning, had them Statesboro blues. This was literally exactly what I was looking for as a gift for a big fan of the song.

I enjoyed the Otis Redding Exhibit and the gift shop

Has brochures on things to do in Statesboro and the surrounding area. Also has a little gift shop with t shirts and mugs and things. Would have liked to see more info on local restaurants and businesses.
