Would not have purchased my mobile home from them if I knew how bad the customer service was here. Don’t expect Jerry to be any help, he’s good at telling you what someone wants to hear until he cashes the check then no response or call backs to any problems that you may have. I definitely would not recommend buying from here.

We love our trailer from Southern Homes BUT once the home was bought it’s been so hard to get into contact with anyone. My fiancé has called and called and left message after message and no calls were returned like we were told they would be. It’s our first time buying a trailer and we were somewhat clueless as to the process of having it set up and i can promise you these people have been no help. I understand it’s taking longer to get things done due to covid but there has been no communication on their end letting us know when things MIGHT be done. We are patient people and not hard to please but it’s frustrating when they preach about being so good to their customers while you’re about to buy a house but as soon as you buy it they are no help. A simple call back to answer some questions about what WE need to do and when things might be done would have been nice.. and would still be nice being we just moved in and still don’t know when someone is coming to do the skirting and our shower is leaking and messing our floor up therefore we can not use our shower in our new home. Like I said.. I understand things are taking longer and there is probably a shortage of supplies, but a simple call back doesn’t require anything other than having some loyalty to your customers.Update: finally got ahold of the the man in charge and he was unbelievably disrespectful and RUDE and didn’t care one bit about our problem. Told my fiancé to just use the other shower and that it wasn’t his problem.

Once the home was delivered everything went down hill.Its been a month ans my trim work still is not finished. my sink in the Bathroom is loose on one side and and can sew the glue.My paint job is not finished and all I get is the run around.Its funny how the friendliness disappears when you sign the contract. Wouldnot recommend to buy from has been the worst experience of my life.

DO NOT BUY!!! We went to this place with the intention of spending 1/4 million on a house. The sales person we worked with was not knowledgeable of what could or couldnt be done, so we worked with the GM Jerry Jackson himself. When following up on the dates he set, he became rude with my wife and hung up on her. This is not customer service on a $1/4 million sale. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They only want to sale to sheep who purchase what they want them to purchase.

The worst place to buy from! Our house has been sitting on OUR lot since August 29th, we were supposed to close tomorrow! But yet they don’t have all their ducks in row and now it has to be pushed back another week! It’s been a run around after run around!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE!

Only giving one star because I have too. Dont trust a word they say. Never just buy a house from them and let them set everything up. A/C was supposed to have a 5 year warranty but being that the unit was not registered by there people just one year later when it broke down nothing was covered. I could list alot of problems but that would take all day. They are only worried about selling you the house and once you sign the paperwork they are absolutely done with you. I went to looking through all the paperwork a few months after getting house and realized I was charged for a power pole and stuff that was already there with old house and then also charged to connect the power. Do not trust them. Their trim man was not finished and only came back after I went up there and told them they should fire him so it took him about a year to actually finish job. They dont check behind the people they setup to do the job. Once you sign paperwork they are done with you.

Only giving one star because it forces you to give something. Bought a house several months ago and was asked to turn in a list of items the matter with the house. Turned list in had 3 service people come out and basically said they didnt have the correct stuff to fix it. Or that they couldnt fix it because it wasnt in there job. So if I had to do I again I wouldnt even have bought the house. Several items deal with the security of my family and health issues. The house has mold coming in from the vents and they dont think it is a priority. Guess I will have to get a lawyer to get this fixed.

After adding an additional $24,000 to my loan for added construction cost provided by Southern Homes, Southern homes only needed $14,000 for the additional cost, and pocketed the rest of my money. Would not recommend purchasing from this seller.
