We live on the southeast coast and Corey created a detailed walk through video of the vehicle that made us feel like we were at the dealership. These guys were able to put together a deal in a matter of hours remotely. Corey even picked my son up from the airport to take ownership of the car! Ive had great experiences with this dealership since I switched to them after years of frustration with the one to the South of me (I live in Kremmling).Last December I bought a 2020 Ram 3500 from them. It was an end of year business purchase, and I was pretty specific about what I wanted without having the time to order it exactly. Corey was my salesman, and he was great! Helpful and anxious to work with me, but never made me feel pressured. Thats when I walk away.He found a very close match to my requests, handled the whole thing over the phone and internet. He even sent me a complete video of the vehicle when it arrived at his dealership. When I agreed to buy the vehicle, he went on to deliver the vehicle to my home and even insisted on giving me a rundown of the features. He also followed up with me several times to insure that all was going well. Really top notch service and attention!Speaking of service, Ive only had one or two experiences with the service department so far (with my older trucks), but theyve been great to deal with too! Im picky and expect thorough work done on my trucks. My livelihood depends on them.Ive had mostly marginal to terrible experiences with other dealerships. Not this one! They worked on my truck when they said they would. Communicated effectively. Understood that I know these trucks well as an operator, listened to my concerns and did the work I requested, keeping me in the loop along the way. The best part was, they did not overlook anything nor keep my vehicle for an inordinate/unexpected amount of time.I think its rare, but this seems to be a pretty great dealership!

I can only speak about my personal experience, which is certainly limited, but this place took care of us when we were in a bind late, late on a Saturday.Quick backstory: My Jeep GC went haywire (electronics throwing all kinds of codes) while driving near Pearl Lake. Was able to barely drive it down to their shop and made it in right before they closed on Saturday night. Jimmy gave us a loaner for the rest of Sat and Sunday, knowing Id bring it back on Monday to see if they could diagnose the codes and issues.Since we were camping and everything would have been closed on Sunday, we couldnt have been more happy to get a loaner on such short notice and tried to salvage the trip.Just wanted to say thank you and give them credit for going out of their way to help us!

Awful experience here this morning. Local family here who have bought multiple cars from this dealership before. Went to do a title sale on a car they had sold us. Price dropped from quote yesterday by $1000. We were disappointed but still agreed to go forward.Then when we expressed our disappointment to the manager as he was handing us the check (guy from New York), he snatched for the paperwork and said, “then maybe we should just forget about it altogether.” Completely condescending and confrontational. We left without handing over the title and will trade it in elsewhere. Won’t be back, will discourage our friends in the valley from stopping in.Somehow we’re in the wrong for being disappointed that they lowered the price. To be clear, things happen, I get it. The price might have been off. It was the treatment by the manager that’s earning this review. Learn how to talk to people.

Do not go here. They told me my jeep would be done today. I called and called and called and never got a call back. I called again and the shop was closed 30 min before it said it closed online and now I dont have a car all night. Terrible service and extremely overpriced.

Awful experience here yesterday and today. Local family here who have bought multiple cars from this dealership before. Test drove a vehicle and indicated I wanted to buy and things started getting shady. Never got a call back after indicating I wanted to get the deal done that day. I was warned and should have listened.Won’t be back, will discourage our friends in the valley from stopping in.Manager treated me like I had the problem and I was inferior.

My friend had 4 tires to be put on his Audi, they obliterated one. They replaced it 2 days later, with the WRONG tire. We came back to discuss compensation and they 3 men in the office are laughing at me as I sit in my car, they are very patronizing to women and black people. I am devastated that such a place exists in steamboat, wasted days of our time, and money, sat stared and laughed at our dispair. I am a long time local, and I will never be returning to, or recommending this business. Never been so disrespected.

Toria went over and above all expectations. She handled all of the paperwork and delivered the vehicle to my home and beyond that helped to update my insurance information. I did have a few questions which were answered immediately but otherwise I could have just slept through the entire process (meaning she took care of everything). I took detailed pictures of my vehicle and got a fair trade value up front. We ended up agreeing to meet in Silverthorne and Corey and Toria Kuntz, in finance, prepared all of the necessary paperwork prior to the test drive/meeting. I liked the vehicle and purchased it and honestly never had such an easy experience.A few minor issues came up with the vehicle shortly after the purchase and Corey was very responsive and Steamboat Motors reimbursed me the expenses for repair.

Service department is lacking in competency. I made an appointment for an oil change and rotation for my diesel truck, and dropped off Thurs morning to leave with them. At that time I asked how they rotate tires, as I specified front to rear same side, and they confirmed. I also told the service writer I marked my tires to ensure it is done correctly. It wasnt and they had to redo. Also was called during the oil change as they said they heard a noise in my fuel pump and suggested I replace my fuel filter. This was recently done and I mentioned it is under warranty so why not replace pump if an issue. Apparently there wasnt an issue after all as nothing was done. They also didnt verify oil type Ive used, and automatically went with $$$ expensive version vs what works best in my home area. The next morning my radiator fluid low notification came on, so I guess where they said they checked fluids wasnt true. To top it all off the price was 30% higher than what I pay at my California dealership. Pay close attention to their work.

Cant think of an easier way to buy a fleet vehicle. Kudos to Jackie for keeping us on track and going out of her way to help us assess the van and to Toria for making the paperwork painless!

Very unimpressed with the customer service. They listed a 2020 GT500 on Autotrader and failed to list the dealer market premium of $5K OVER sticker price. I interacted with the chat feature on Autotrader.com to inquire about the vehicle and never heard back from them. I called the dealership a few days later and was then told about the market premium. I asked why they didnt put that on the listing in Autotrader and the sales manager told the sales person that they dont control the information that gets put on to Autotrader regarding their listings. When I asked to speak with the sales manager, he would not take the call to discuss the matter. A complete waste of my time and unprofessional way to do business in todays online world.

On vacation from upstate NewYork and had a problem with our 2020 Dodge Ram. Called got us right in . The drive here was amazing . Hospitality was amazing . Treated us like family. Family has bought 2 jeeps over the last 6 years. Buying experience was ok, liked that the salesman thoroughly reviewed features after the sale. I dont get the feeling the service department is knowledgeable. Took my jeep in for engine tapping, wanted to charge me $850 to diagnose the problem. I asked, based on their experience what did they expext to find and couldnt get an answer . Asked if the tappinga was an annoyance or indication of a of bigger problem, couldnt get an answer. Just took my car and will search for another shop.

Small town dealership with a pleasant service dept. Some staff are wearing masks, some are not. I waited in the customer area during an oil change, staff are friendly but its strange to sit there feeling like youre in the way while 20 different employees walk back and forth and the service guys not wearing masks are using the same coffee machine as the customers, I didnt want to touch anything. I think the staff get used to being their own little work family, rather than focusing on a customer orientated atmosphere, although to be an employee here is probably pretty comfortable.

Bought a F-250 truck over the weekend with Toria and Jimmy. Hands down, the best car buying experience weve ever had. Literally, no pressure sales but rather gave us the information we needed to make a decision that worked best for us.I highly, highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle here and working with these two. Do not let them talk you into any kind of extended warranty or GAP coverage, they will miss file it and cost you money! They will claim that they will take care of it but you wont hear from them for months and they wont take care of any of it. Just save yourself time, money and multiple headaches and take your business somewhere else.Yes, you did tell me that...almost a year after the accident ( the claim had to be filed within six months), and months after your finance manager told me hed take care of it. You guys screwed me out of five grand. Way to help out the locals!

Spencer Morrison was our salesman, I knew he was a problem right from the start- When asked what type of motor the new jeep we were interested in, he resounded we just did a video about it, I cant remember, I think its an in-line ???? definitely a sign he knows nothing about motorswell, a year later we are still dealing with his misguided job choice as a car salesman, he gave our banking company our wrong birthdays so we are never able to use the over the phone banking feature because our identities can not be verified, 30 minutes is an average of our wait time anytime we need to communicate with our bankalso when drilling in our front license plate, they used STAR screws?! thanks a lot you guys, maybe drug test your employees?!

Ill start by saying I hate buying cars at a dealership with the stereotype that they have. From my initial inquiry about a car I saw online, I hung up the phone and told my husband that I thought I would buy a car from them just because that initial phone call was so different than all the other dealerships. They are prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and truly made you feel like part of their family. Toria was phenomenal to work with, listened to our desires, didnt pressure us, and made whole experience smooth and stress free. I can honestly say Ive never bought a car before with such down to earth service, and made the entire process enjoyable from start to finish. They are above and beyond in all areas. Excellent service from the service department! This weekend I was camping about 20 miles ago at Stagecoach Reservoir and my truck barley limped there after struggling since the tunnel. I called Jerry at the service department on a Friday morning and explained my situation that in my current state my truck would not get me home. He said they were full of appointments for the day but to bring the truck in and theyd take a look. I brought it in and they had me up and running in about 4 hours. They were honest about what needed to be done, I needed a fuel induction service to clean the gunk out of my engine. I was able to drive back to my campsite and get home with no issues. Great customer service and I felt the cost was very reasonable even though they knew my situation and probably could have charged me extra. Shout out to Jerry and tech John Minehan

STAY AWAY!!! My truck was towed to this dealership as it was the closest repair show around. They ended up charging 3x what other dealerships charge for the same work and took 2 weeks for a 7 hour job. After I got my truck back, the check engine light came on within 50 miles for the part they just replaced. Finally had to take my truck to another dealership to get that part replaced. The other dealership replaced it under warranty. Steamboat wouldnt even consider the warranty. Please go ANYWHERE ELSE if at all possible.

Wow! Kind, caring, helpful:) Passing thru SBoat on a cross country drive, with only two days in town, my engine light pops up. They heard my plea to please help me move on toward LA, worked as a team to help me get the needed parts and then repaired it the next morning. Even gave me a loaner car so I could still hike Rabbit Ears. I cannot say enough for Ralph Eppard, Toria and Tim. I might just stop to say hi next time Im in the area.

Jacqueline is an excellent Sales Consultant she works hard and making sure that you are satisfied and well educated on the operation of all the controls on your new vehicle. Had to wait a little longer for the financing paper work and the rate was too high for someone with my credit score but Ive since refinanced so Its all good now.

I have never been somewhere before where I bought a vehicle and it was this smooth or laid back like it was at Steamboat Motors. From my understanding, they are under new management now, and wow, they are great!! There was zero pressure, they were flexible, quick, and very accommodating. All I had to supply was a one page application, my insurance card and drivers license, and in 5 minutes they already had me approved! Also, I am a Veteran, (so were many of them that worked there), and they had Veteran incentives I have never seen at any other dealerships before. They even offered to drive my other vehicle home which was 45 minutes away! Everyone there was so much fun, and easy to work with, I felt like Ive known all of them forever after only spending an hour with them. If I didnt already have a job I love in a different field, I could see myself working here selling vehicles with this team. It was clear that their management appreciates their staff and their customers because he puts on a free BBQ every single Saturday for everyone. THANK YOU Patty, Marcus, John, Ralph, and Tim! You guys were so great!

The guys in the automotive service department are great! I brought my Jeep in for a warranty issue and a recall, the parts were on back order which made it take longer than expected and of coarse this was all over the holidays. The staff, especially Tim, was great at communicating what was going on. When my car was done I went to pay for all the labor costs and they said I was all good and didn’t owe anything! What a wonderful holiday act of kindness! Good people do still exist, especially in Steamboat Springs! Thanks again!

Great service very much of a different feel when buying my new vehicle. The staff was great at taking time to work out a deal for me. John the financial manager was great at getting me the best loan. Also definitely want to give a big thanks to Anna Jones she was great at answering all my questions extremely hard worker to help me get the truck I wanted. Update...the Jeep hasn’t been repaired. Going on two years in October they have had it with nothing completed.I have had my Jeep there almost constantly for a year and half. I have brought it home five times where they tell me is all fixed only to discover that is hasn’t been fixed. They actually asked me “did you want it for this weekend” after this extended time. I was told it would be fixed last week and now am told, four days later, it still hasn’t been repaired.

Helpful and knowledgeable

We were in the market for a Ford F-350 for pulling a fifth wheel. Found a ruby red 2016 Ford F-350 online with approximately 11,000 miles on it priced at $49,000. We live about 4 hours away and couldnt just drive in to the dealership, so my wife and I planned to drive there on the weekend. I called the dealership to verify that the vehicle was still there and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Christian was very receptive to our needs and would follow up with us to see if we needed anything and to verify that we were still interested in the truck. When we arrived at the dealership, Christian had the truck already for the test drive. Upon returning and deciding this deal was too good to pass up, John help us in the financing. He was a very pleasant, knowledgeable and hilarious. We would have been out the door with our new truck within 2 hours, but my wife decided to get our minivan serviced there and they were great as well, giving us a discount (military) on the services. All-in-all, we had a great truck buying experience. I also want to thank Jimmy, the sales manager, for taking the time to talk with us and Drew, who knew the previous owners of the truck and gave us a little insight as to why they traded this truck in. I would recommend Steamboat Motors to anyone because of the great pricing and friendly team.

Steamboat Motors is under new ownership, and the General Manager, Ralph, demonstrated significant integrity in a recent car repair transaction. He went WAY out of his way to do the right thing. If you dont know the new Steamboat Motors, I would definitely give them a try.

I would not recommend going here to get work done on your vehicle. If I could give no stars I would. I came there to get two all season tires and originally was quoted at $97 for my Ford Fusion. I hadn’t originally made the appointment so when I asked them when I checked out if $145 per tire was correct, they said yes. So they ended up lying to me. So a month done the road comes and it turns my tires were already bald and done to the wire. I took my car back in and Jerry the service manger said he would call in warranty so he did. He then explained that I needed to pay another $50 for these tires or I wouldn’t get new tires. I was in disbelief that after all the problems I’ve had there that they would actually make me pay more money for their fault in giving me bald tires. Jerry was extremely disrespectful and the company seems very dishonest and greedy.

Best car buying experience in our 50+ years of buying over 15 cars. From our salesman, Spencer, John in finance, Jimmy in management & Ralph the owner we would recommend anyone to visit this fabulous dealership.

Nice customer service, but... They just can’t ever seem to get it quite right. Like the time they destroyed our tire and told us it was our fault until we spoke with the manager, or the time they fixed the truck with the incorrect part and it wouldn’t shift into all the gears, or the time they forgot to reconnect the negative lead to the battery for the plow, or the time they forgot to reconnect the 4-wheel drive solenoid after working on the axle, or the time they brought the truck out for me to drive home and didn’t bother to knock the snow off so I could see out the windshield, or the time they kept the truck for a week before they realized they forgot to order the parts, and then order the part and then kept it for another week to fix it. we kept giving them chance after chance after chance because they kept giving us big discounts when they screwed it up. However, after more than a year of this we are getting tired of taking the truck in twice for every repair job.
