I am blown away by the intelligence and willingness to explain things in a simple way. I trusted only her when my son had a fleck of metal in his eye and she did her magic again! I was so surprised she was able to explain my eye problem on a biological standpoint but she was exceptionally well with explaining my sons eye problem to him and I noticed she didnt use medical terminology withI worked as a Registered Nurse in the Houston Medical Center and she is among the prestigious league of doctors working in the medical center.! I worked with the best in Cardiac and ER among other areas. No one called to tell me that were not an in network provider prior to my visit, and I sent in all of our insurance information well over a week ahead of time. I was informed upon arrival for our exams. They could do a better job of notifying patients about this prior to appointments so that you could be prepared to pay a much higher price when you go. Appointments were made on my holiday off work, and my kids day out of school at this location because they were listed as an in network provider, and it was planned well in advance for that reason. They do not need to wait until your arrival at your appointment to inform you of things like this.

I am never disappointed with Dr. Moore. He is very informative. I never feel rushed. He has a very good demeanor and gets to know his patients. I would definitely recommend anyone to his office. Jasmine in the front was so kind and helpful as well as the rest of the staff. You really get a welcoming feeling when you come in. Very happy with my experience. Thank you!

I had the first thorough eye exam of my life at Moore Eye Center with Dr. Watt. The experience was very easy. Jasmine, the receptionist, was so very professional, kind, and efficient. The techs, Luz and others, were also very competent and patient. Dr. Watt answered all my questions and explained my results thoroughly. She was very professional, and I left there with a good understanding of my eye health. I highly recommend Moore Eye Center!!

Arrived 30 minutes prior to scheduled appointment. Numerous people arrived after me and were in and out quickly. I waited over an hour to be called back and was called back only after asking if they had forgotten about me. After getting back to the room, the doctor finally came in and told us they messed up and apologized. He offered us 50% off of our visit. But the staff didn’t apply the discount upon checkout.

Dr. Moore and his staff makes each patient feel important. He listens to all concerns and takes his time with his exam. Everyone in his office seems happy about being there. He is great with kids as well. My son was nervous about his first eye visit, and they did a great job of explaining the whole exam process to him.

I was very pleased with my experience for my annual eye exam. The staff was very friendly and polite! The Technician (I’m embarrassed to say forgot her name) was very knowledgeable and administered the exam with professionalism. Dr. Moore provide a thorough exam and explained the results . The experience at Dr. Moore’s office is always a delight. This morning I showed up at the wrong time and they accommodated me anyway. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and to make things work out. I went here a year ago and I am still upset with this business. I had the ability to go to a different eye doctor this year and it highlighted the problems clear eyes has. They are expensive, they do not mark prices on frames, they make you wait for everything, and the staff doesn’t seem to care about clients. The doctor was pretty nice, but they don’t listen and only recommend Bausch and Lomb for contacts. I hate that brand but they really insist. I ended up buying my contacts elsewhere. Don’t go here

I will never do business with them again. The lab manager was so unprofessional and rude. The way my order was handled was unacceptable, I received the wrong frames and they asked if I would like to keep them instead. I paid good money for a product that I expected to receive. $270.20 to be exact. I requested a refund and all I received was $69.45. Paying Customers are what keeps you in business. Dr. M please fix this

My daughter, who is a college student and LEGALLY BLIND IN ONE EYE, went there for her annual exam. While she said the doctor was nice, she was overcharged for her exam “due to covid” and was not told about this additional charge ahead of time. If they were so worried about covid I would think their receptionists would be wearing their masks correctly and not under their noses. After the exam, she was asked if she wanted to pick out her frames. She had opted for somewhere cheaper because, COLLEGE STUDENT, and told them no thank you. Conveniently their internet went down right then and she was told her prescription would be emailed to her when it came back up. That was 5 days ago. She called the following day and was told it would be done after lunch - it wasn’t. She was then told that afternoon they were going down a list and to have a great weekend. So here we are, 5 days later and we were told the Dr won’t be back until Thursday and only he can put in her prescription (which he wrote down on her intake paperwork and conveniently took with him to a remote part of the world that he’s working at now) as he’s the one who did the exam. According to the office manager who refused to give her name, she was having difficulty reaching him because he’s working on a mobile unit that only has enough internet to run that clinic. But I thought he took the paperwork with him to input it there? Miss Office Manager was EXTREMELY condescending, rude and downright lied to us assuming we were stupid. I’m in the medical field and this is by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve EVER had! We will only not be returning, but we’ll be reporting them as well. Save your time and your money - a preschooler playing doctor could’ve gotten this done correctly in less time.

First off, I waited an hour before I was seen on Thursday and then during my appointment the internet went down. I get it things happen so I called the next day and was told it would be done after lunch. I call at 2 and it’s still not done. It is now Tuesday and my prescription is still not updated in my chart, when Dr. Moore wrote my prescription on my intake paperwork. When I called today, I was told that the Dr. wouldn’t even be in the office until Thursday the 9th. The receptionists were rude and condescending way before I started to get very upset. I am legally blind in my left eye and my right lens has a scratch in it which is one of the reasons I even decided to come here to begin with. Not only that but there was a machine called the optimax that is being used in place of dilation (which isn’t included in a standard exam) during COVID. They did not inform me that the optimax is not included in my insurance and are trying to charge me an additional $30 because of their lack of responsibility. If I could give negative stars I would.

They’re honestly not even worth the one star. I had a horrible experience when I went there, gave them another try and will NEVER go back. I went to get contacts and this female doctor there kept pushing me to use this other brand then what I normally use, I told her I did NOT want them and she sent me home with them anyways and they were just as awful as the office I got them from. I will never be going back

The entire process of the examination was so professional and everyone was so courteous. Top notch organization

They have a very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Watt explains things and seems genuinly concerned with keeping my eyes healthy. The new office is spacious and kept clean. The only problem I have is that they change out frames often. There is a great choice but if I like a frame it isnt available and when I get new frames, when I come back in there is always ones I find I like better and wished it had been available when I had to buy a new one.

Went in yesterday, and the visit was 5 star until it got to selecting and buying eyeglasses. Then things went very sour. The technician took down my selection and added up the price. It was WOW. I reminded her that our insurance was supposed to pay part of the bill. Disregarding my concern, she just took my credit card and went away. She came back with a charge for the full amount. I asked her isnt the insurance was paying any of the bill. She insisted my insurance did not cover any part of this transaction. I told her I would have to call the insurance company and tell them. She said that was fine and gave me some names for the insurance to contact. When The insurance told them that they did cover part of it, they got on a conference call with my wife and and the insurance company and wanted to argue some more. Finally, the next day a credit was issued. Also they issued a credit for an overcharge against my wife from a few weeks ago.So. . .They do a good eye exam, but keep your hand on your wallet when you get up front.

I took my son to Moore Eye Center because I noticed he was having difficulty seeing. The entire staff, the optometrist and opticians, made my son feel comfortable (a potentially unnerving process for a kid) and actually enjoy the process of getting glasses. As a parent, their integrity when it came to which glasses were best (most durable and cheapest to repair) and the way they treated my son, I highly recommend them and, as someone who needs glasses also, I plan to visit them as well because they have a great selection of frames to choose from. It was worth the drive from Glen Rose.

Today l visited Dr Moore. Everyone was wearing a mask due to the pandemic. Thank you. It was great meeting Genie at the door. She acted as though she had known me for years! So sweet! Shortly after arriving l was called back (hardly any wait time)! The assistant took me through a gamut of tests and was very patient, polite, and caring. Once completed l was introduced to Dr Moore. He had my results of the tests and let me know of any issues l may have in the future. Great experience. I haven’t been to the eye doctor since I was a kid. This was much better than I remember from back in the day. Dr. Watt is great! Highly recommended.

Everyone was super friendly and positive. From the woman who checked me in, to the woman who did all the prep tests (eye air puff and such), to Dr. Watt, to the woman who helped me pick out frames (she got a different pair of frames out based on every detail I said I liked or disliked). The whole experience took 30 minutes and was pleasant in its entirety.

Dr. Moore and his team always provide great care and great service. I can almost always schedule an appointment at a reasonable time and in a good timeframe. I rarely have to wait and, if I do, the staff is good about communicating to me. I would highly recommend Moore Eye Center to others.

I asked when I called to make an appointment for them to check into our insurance plan and make sure it would pay as last year. I never heard back. I assumed everything was fine. My mistake. My husband went in today and after he had his exam and went to desk to checkout they told him he had to pay up front then insurance would reimburse him. Also insurance wasn’t paying but for partial eye exam now only $60 and only $60 instead of $150 like always on new frames. This has never happened before. We pay a fortune for health insurance with vision care and would like to use it. I immediately got policy out and we are allowed a routine vision examination every 12 months with a $10 copay then 100% coinsurance. Eyeglass frame- $150.00 allowance. Eyeglass lenses- one pair every 12 months. Bifocal-lined eyeglass lenses- $10 copay then 100% coinsurance. I called and talked to insurance department at Moore Eye Center. She said United had changed to Spectera and they were not a contract provider for them. She said person that took my insurance information over the phone should have told me this. I told her she did not and I had ask person making my appointment several times to check out my insurance before the appointment. She agreed that someone would. I called United Healthcare. Spectera Eyecare Network will not go into effect until October 1. I have a letter from United Healthcare stating this sent to me by our employer. We will be issued new cards for providers at that time. So my current insurance with $10 copay and 100% coinsurance is still in effect. $150 eyeglass frame allowance and $10 copay on bifocal lenses. They were going to charge my husband $200 today for new glasses plus the $115 for eye exam. He refused the new glasses. I have been waiting on call back from manager of Moore Eye Clinic since 11:30. At 3:30 today I did get a call back from the lady that took my husband’s insurance card when he arrived this morning. She was very nice and apologized for not letting him know that they are not a provider for United Healthcare Vision only medical. She could not help me any further and as I had requested before I asked for the manager. She had been on line listening and as I was talking she spoke up. She had been doing research on what I had told them about Spectera not going in effect until October 1 with our United Healthcare policy. She was very professional and respectful and had seen that I had asked when I made appointment for insurance department to let us know if our policy would be in network at Moore Eye Center so we could receive benefits we pay for. She apologized that both ladies had not done this. She said she would take care of this problem. When you give insurance information now you will be told what your insurance will or will not provide. That way you have a choice. I appreciate her response and her taking care of the situation in a professional manner.

It was very professional and all of the techs were very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Watt is excellent at her job and takes care of business in a very professional manner. All in all, everyone made our visit a very comfortable situation.

Dr. Watt is amazing! I have known for 20 years that I have dry eyes, but no one had ever told me I could do something about it. She took the time to talk to me and figure out that having dry eyes has been a big part of the problems I have. We now have a plan in place to help alleviate my symptoms. I can’t say enough good things about her!!

The doctors and staff are polite and a pleasure to do business with. During my exam an elderly lady was having trouble positioning her head to run the tests on her eyes. The techs were very friendly and gentle with her. I highly recommend Clear Eye for all your optic needs.

Clear Eye in Stephenville (Dr. David Moore) and his Clear Eye Clinic in Ft. Worth ( Dr. David Moore and Dr. Ervin) are the ABSOLUTE BEST EYE DOCTORS!!!! Stephenville is so blessed to have this eye center and Dr.Moores Clear Eye center at 5912 Convair Dr. in Ft. Worth (4 miles from Benbrook) that is open until 2:30 on Saturdays. Both Doctor Moore and Dr. Ervin treated me Saturday for a toxic chemical burn on my cornea and by Monday it was healed because of their expert treatment! The doctors and staff are the VERY BEST in North Texas!!!

Switched eye doctors and they found two stigmatisms I didnt know I had. Previously was seeing another eye doctor for 20 plus years and not once did they mention any stigmatisms. They fitted me with amazing contacts and not a basic brand. Gave me coupons to use for eye solutions and offered new brands for me to try because they informed of the changes in formula of the brand I was using. So informative and professional.
