Great factory store with helpful ladies willing to run into the wearhouse and grab whatever you need. Look it up on the website and drop by to pick it up in person, save the cost and hassle of shipping. My wife was in craft heaven.

My mother-in-law and I went here in search of a specific knitting project. When we couldnt find it on the shelves, an employee helped us and brought it in from the warehouse! Wonderful employees, an endless selection of knitting/sewing/artsy goods at good prices!

Forces employees to give a speech about mask mandates that they were never told what the speech was going to be about. Try to take this post down and sue me, I will bankrupt this company.

I love this store! Not only a distribution center for their catalog products theyve been kind enough to stock and staff a storefront for those of us who live close enough to go a time or two a year. My hubby calls it a pilgrimage. If I lived closer Id try to get a job there.

Love the crafts, I wish they had more stamped cross stitch. They have allot of other kinds counted etc but only a few stamped cross stitch. Ive done most of them they need to redo it

If youre into crafts- this store is for you! They have a little bit of every craft, but especially yarn and needle crafts. In the front room, they have their newer selections of crafts and as a bonus, they have a back room that is full of discounted crafts. Each time I am in the Stevens Point area, this is a MUST. Big selection!

First time I ever was in the store very organized huge variety very friendly staff prices should have been lower it was a Craft outlet store I always received the catalog from the store and I got to walk in it for the first time and it was wonderful good experience

Since I posted this, I got a call from Cathy, a supervisor and she offered to help me with this issue! I was surprised and impressed with this fantastic customer service! I will continue to be a customer of Herrschners more than ever!I ordered yarn to make a fisherman afghan. The description said it was Worsted weight and the recommended crochet hook is an I which is what I needed for the project. When I received my yarn, it was more Sport or baby weight which is much thinner than the normal worsted weight yarn I have used for over 50 years. When I called to get return instructions, I was told I would not get reimbursed for either their shipping cost to me or the shipping to return the yarn. The customer service representative told me that it was up to the yarn manufacturer to describe the product as they saw fit. This is unacceptable in my opinion especially with so many companies paying for shipping returns. I will NEVER use Herrschners again and now have to find a use for 26 skeins of very thin yarn.

LOVE this store! You wont find the selection here any other place. Unbelievable projects/kits to gift to people in my life. Amazing high quality quilting fabrics to browse through. Every imagineable novelty and coordinating blenders. Lots of samples! Puzzles always jump into my cart, as does my favorite yarns. We bought a lot of toys for the grandkids last time through.When you see the samples, you know you can make the project! Friendly staff. Great sales! Well worth the stop!

Worst place ever! The mask police is waiting at the door when you go in! If you have a medical condition, you are not allowed to go in unless your entire mouth and nose are covered! Then the lady asked where our medical note was!!! Personally owned is what we were told... They can do what they want. NEVER WILL WE STEP FOOT OR ORDER FROM THEM! Liberal hacks! Useless! Take away our freedoms more and more!

I ordered Herrschners online mystery mill ends deal with decent success, so I decided to give their annual warehouse sale a try after seeing it promoted by a Youtube influencer.Unfortunately, they do not (or did not during this sale) update their website in real time with which products were in-stock. I was able to pay for and finalize my order with multiple products that ultimately ended up being out of stock, yet they continued to show as available on Herrschners website for more than a week after my incomplete order was shipped to me (which took a week+ to ship after payment).Now, a month later, after reaching out to customer service myself to confirm if the missing items are still set to be back in stock this Thursday July 8th, I was now told that they have no clue when or if theyll ever be back in-stock, let alone ship out.Not only were these items I had paid for out of stock, but Herrschners didnt bother to proactively communicate to me that items would be missing from my delivered order or when I might expect to receive the missing items. I had to hunt down this info on my own. And once again today, Herrschners didnt proactively communicate to me that the original in-stock date was now no longer valid, rather they have no clue if theyll be able to send me my items. I had to initiate the communication.While I do appreciate that Herrschners may have been overwhelmed by the success that this sale achieved and were not prepared to handle the volume of orders it produced, effective customer service that communicates these short comings in a timely manner does go a long way. The customer service reps I interacted with clearly did not care about the missing items and Herrschners short comings in the situation. Had there been any remorse, apology, or proactive communication attempts made to let me know what was happening with my order, I would be willing to give them another chance but none of that has happened.Just a word of warning to others for future sales, dont get too excited for any of their products until it actually arrives on your doorstep.

I use to love this shop. Spent hundreds there each month. But not anymore. I have a valid medical condition which makes it impossible to wear a mask. I was made to feel less then human today because the face covering I was wearing wasnt to their standard. I was trying to comply the best I could with a very sheer scarf. I left in tears and in with a panic atrack.

Herrschners is one of the best places to get needle work supplies. Cross stitch, crochet, knitting, embroidery. Great customer service. O got my last order in a week. They are on top of things.

They have a wide variety of kits and accessories for the merely curious to the dead pan serious. We met a lady from Texas that told us she had been there for two hours and filled two shopping carts. Be very careful when you come here! It is a dangerous place for people who sew or do any kind of yarn work. The yarn selections seem endless, one color and texture nicer than the next. Its so hard to choose, I just want them all! So, hold on tight to your wallet because the prices are also great!

Some beautiful fabrics but also expensive. Its a fun place to visit! Lots of craft items for anyone on your gift lift. They even have puzzles! Look for their sales, some great deals on yarn and other items during their warehouse sales.

I went for the annual warehouse sale and I wasnt disappointed. I filled a shopping cart with beautiful yarn and I paid less than $100. Their sales are amazing. They have a wide selection of yarn and other craft supplies.

Went to their yearly craft discount sale. They do have something for every craft project you can imagine. Some stuff gets quickly picked through. They also have the regular store. The discount reduction sale is in a warehouse like building. I gave it only 4 stars because it was hot and the warehouse has no air conditioning. But a fun way to spend an afternoon.

My babe likes working and I hope he continues to work harder.

One of the top reasons I am glad we moved to central Wisconsin is my proximity to Herrschners. Amazing selection of craft supplies and yarn. If you dont see it in the store, just ask and theyll get it in the warehouse. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have never had a bad trip, or been disappointed in a product.

I have alwayz been able to find the best cross stitch, embroidery and puzzles here... The quality is very good, I adore their embroidery table toppers the best! Such a lovely 🎁 for a wedding, anniversary or new couple starting out! I have even gotten gorgeous cross stitch baby blanket kits that were ADORED by the new moms and dads!

Nothing I cant find at Joannes or Michaels.

I was very happy that they have a store. It was nice to see what is in the catalog in person. I live over 75 miles away so it was worth the drive.

Went to the warehouse sale. Lots to choose from. Bring your own shopping bag not a lot of carts. And you would be wise to know how much yarn you need for your projects so you dont run out or have way too much. Great prices.

Took my mom there to get yarn and a larger set of knitting needles. Staff was friendly and very helpful! There was also a huge selection of yarn and other craft supplies. And yes, mom found exactly what she needed!

My friend ordered a do it yourself Christmas ornament kit and it was very difficult to assemble, bad directions, cheap beads.

I can only speak to the level of customer service or lack there of, as I have never received the product I ordered. I imagine it would have been great quality, but we will never know.I had placed an order 6 weeks ago to get my grandmother yarn for your project she is trying to finish as a wedding gift. It was out of stock at the time I order, but was listed to be available May 15th. Still plenty of time for the project to complete.The date came and went, no communication and no item. I reached out by email as they are not accepting phone calls. Took them 5 days to get back to me to tell me it was backordered further to May 27th. Not sure why they couldnt email me the 15th to tell me they couldnt ship what I paid for and find out if I still wanted it. At this point, the 27th would still get here, so I accepted.May 27th came and went, no communication, no shipment and no item. I found their click to chat, they than tell me it is backordered until July 7th. I requested cancellation and they ended the chat session without assistance. I have emailed them 3 times in the last 8 days without a response. Now their click to chat is no longer available on their website, they are still not taking phone calls and refuse to provide any level of customer service.It is a shame as I am sure their products are the quality that my grandmother wants, but their service is horrible which outweighs product quality every time.I get that there are circumstances happening, but I am living and working in the same state they do and in customer service, which is why I was so patient with the lack of communication up front. Now I simply cannot keep being patient, just unfortunate that this is what my experience has been.

Herrschners has been a very long-term mail order source for fiber arts. This store offers everything available by mail order as well as a brick and mortar source for locals or tourists. They offer classes. Copies of catalogs are available.The store has a restroom available for shoppers which is clean and handicap accessible.

Have shopped online from them many times. Realized they were only two hours away so took a day to drive up. They have a relatively large store, and if you dont see what you want they will get it from the warehouse. Friendly staff

I disabled, I did not go to the store, I do all my shopping over the internet mostly at amazon, there is one area of interest and thats a small area that a lot of Amish live in ( southwest of Camden ). I enjoy driving around in it.Remember dont stare or take any photographs of them, Id say they are just like us but they are not (probably better ) BE RESPECTFUL.
