By far one of the best mechanic shops Ive ben to over the years! They do excellent work, have my repairs done in a timely manner, they dont fuss around and tell you that you need to replace a part that still has 50% of its use-life in order to make a buck but instead give it to you straight, theyre very well priced, AND the front end worker (Angie) is just a darling! She makes you feel welcome and has stellar customer service!

Had my 2 Passats worked on by D&D and Andy, Angie and their son Jason are wonderful to work with. VW experts and willing to explain issues clearly. I know my way around my cars but somethings you just need the experts. D&D is the right place. For sure to go back if needed again. Great job 👏

If you do not know anything about your car, or want them to source the parts then fine go here. But I have a genuine DMF for my car and just needed a labor cost but all I got on the phone was sas about why would they give me a labor cost for a job they wont do. I then explained I quite frankly wouldnt care if it blew up 20ft down the road as long as its nothing THEY did. I understand parts fail and I am just looking for a labor cost as I dont feel like pulling a trans on jackstands in my driveway.Very rude and unprofessional.

I came in from out of state and had car trouble. They determined the fault and repaired it, all basically immediately. In addition, the price was really low. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful shop. They really took the time to explain to me what the problem with my car was so that I would understand completely. They were honest, priced fairly, and really friendly. It is great to know I can take my car somewhere without being overcharged (they didnt charge me anything except the bare cost of the bulbs to replace 7 of my small lights, yes, 7) or pressured into paying for things I dont really need.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. However, in terms of fixing my car I am disappointed. My car has had on and off issues not starting. I appreciate that they tried to keep costs down to a minimum but that is perhaps why I am somewhat dissatisfied.Initially they just recharged and cleaned the battery terminals, and the car would not start still. Then, they claimed that the alternator was not putting out enough power and had to be replaced. I suspected that something was drawing power from the battery slowly, but they said they checked that and it wasnt the case. I let the car sit for two days, and the same issue...the engine trying to turn over but no start...like something had slowly drained the battery.I got a jump start and took my vw to a place in my hometown which found the hood latch was broken/had a malfunctioning sensor drawing power from the battery slowly. They fixed it and I had no more trouble for several weeks...which makes me wonder if the alternator change was really necessary because to me it seems the actual problem was a $150 dollar sensor replacement and not an $800 alternator replacement. While they said that the alternator was outputting much less power than it should have, the fact that they also said nothing was drawing on the battery, when there was makes me wonder if that was true at all, and the alternator didnt need replacing...A few weeks later, the starter developed an issue. I turned the key and there was no sounds. Not even clicking. Definitely a different issue, but figured I would take it to D&D again due to their outstanding google reviews. They told me it was a loose wire on the starter, and also replaced a burnt fog light for me (charging only for parts for the light, which I appreciate). Now, 4 days after that fix, the same issue has occurred and I need to wait another 3-5 hours to get towed(I realize thats not D&Ds fault, but its frustrating nonetheless and could have been prevented if the issue had been properly fixed). All in all, I am quite disappointed in the lack of permanently fixing the issues on my car, and instead having expensive repairs take place only to have the same exact problem pop up a few days after the repair. Which has happened twice now with two different problems.TLDR: Friendly people, but Im very disappointed the quality of their service did not live up to their google reviews for me.

I called today to have my Volkswagen CC worked on. I usually go to another shop that works on VWs but always had issues with appointments and car being completed on time. I researched VW specialist near me and D&D pulled up. I viewed the reviews and noticed all the great experiences customers had and found out they are VW Specialist shop. I contacted them and reached Jason and he booked me same day, dropped the car off and met Andy and he was very professional .They completed the controller arm assembly, tie rods and contacted me later on and car was completed. Very happy with service will be back for my VW and my wifes for sure!! Thanks D&D

We run three audi/vw cars and have exclusively used D&D to service and maintain them over the years. I absolutely trust the D&D staff and they have proven to be competent in solving any car problems that have emerged. We live 50 miles away from their shop but gladly drive the distance even for mere oil changes. They know what they are doing, they are always honest, and they keep our cars running (the 2001 passat is now at 237 k miles). Thx Andy & family.
