Oh my gosh. We love this place. The bagels are always fresh and the coffee is always spot on. Prices are extremely reasonable and the line moves quickly.

I had an amazing everything bagel with cream cheese and bacon here. It was fresh, hot and well stuffed with bacon and cream cheese. I also had a solid blueberry muffin with it as well. The bagel was made quickly and service was prompt.

Bagels were just ok And everything bagel was missing the salt that usually is included on if. I was really bothered by the texture of the microwaved egg. Not sure why they do that instead of just throwing it on a flat top

Vegan friendly. I ordered the bagel with vegan cream cheese and an almond milk spiced chai latte and they were both good.

Called in an order, stood in line paid and walked over to pickup order and left. Awesome in & out while I saved about 10 mins. Efficient

Great Bagel place that has excellent SALT bagels, which can be hard to find! Good price for 3 bagels and a tub of cream cheese.Kind of a weird thing though. You hand your credit card to the person at the register and then they ask you if you want to add a tip and what percentage. It was a bit strange and I felt a little pressured to add a 10% tip even though they just had to throw a couple bagels and a tub into a paper bag. I understand that everything is super tough right now with Covid, but this is just an awkward situation, and they might want to get one of those gizmos where the customer runs their own card and can choose a tip.

Theyre doing outdoor takeout, so I recommend going on a sunny day. that said, these bagels are worth standing in the rain for-- absolutely delicious!! If they were open earlier Id go before work every day.

Yummy bagels and vegan cream cheese!

The Bagel offers a wide variety of tasty baked items and has relatively low prices. In my opinion, theyve got one of the best cream cheese spreads as well. However, being the only bagel store in town they are hardly open, even on days normally listed as open. Very frustrating for locals trying to eat on the go, as options are very limited in the area!

Its a nice bagel shop with a great variety of breakfast sandwiches and spreads for your morning feast. Coffee was very good. We had sesame bagels with olive spread and the veggie spread the 2x we visited during our morning bike ride. Ample seating both indoors and out, we surely will stop in again for breakfast.

I’ve been coming here for 15 years. I judge all bagels in the world off this place. They are the best, fresh, made on location bagels ever. Try the Stowe western.... delish.I wish they would update the building though. The insides getting a little too run down.

Great spot in Stowe for a fresh bagel and some coffee or juice before hitting the slopes or exploring Stowe. Opened early and plenty of parking for a quick stop. There is seating inside as well if you want to get a bagel and enjoy inside. Cinnamon sugar bagel was awesome and the breakfast sandwich was even better!

Bagels were small.. I got a New Yorker on a jalapeno cheddar and that was really good. My husband got a bacon egg and cheese on onion bagel, but they gave him plain instead (they use fake egg). There is a lady yelling all the orders when they are ready, which was a bit annoying and not as effective.

Great Bagels and Breakfast Sandwiches. Not a fan of their choice in coffee, was hoping for Vermont Artisan or at least Green Mountain. The Keurig style espresso machine seems a bit suburban for a mountain bagel shop. I will return for the bagels!

From the moment I walk in I am greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Most of them address me by name ( normally still have my work name tag on) my sandwiches are always delish and I have never had a problem!

They have an impressive selection of fresh bagels and a limited selection of other baked goods. Theres coffee and drinks from the cooler. The place is frequented by locals and the staff are efficient and accommodating. Free wireless connection (password available from the staff). Its a good place to stop for a quick bite on the way to or from hiking or skiing.

We enjoyed the New Yorker bagel sandwich with smoked salmon. Excellent choice. Great selection of bagels. Coffee is ok but nothing fancy. I would definitely recommend this place if your visiting the Stowe VT area.

Things seem a little different since the business changed hands. The one thing that always bothers me is that the drink cooler is never fully stocked, and I have to ask the person behind the counter to get the drink I want. Other than that, this is a great, fairly cost effective place to grab a quick breakfast on the go in Stowe. They also have a sit down area inside, as well as outside during the warmer seasons.

This place is awesome, and they have really good bagels. My favorite bagel is spinach.

We were really disappointed. We were there early 8am but the bagels were hard and dry so they didnt seem fresh. The toppings are microwaved, we were hoping for a fresh cooked egg. Coffee was really good, staff were great, and nice outdoor seating.

Good food! The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the the fellow taking orders (maybe the owner?) carried on a lengthy conversation with someone who seemed to know him while he kept those of in line waiting. Its not a big deal (Ill happily go there again) but it was mildly annoying.

If finding a good bagel isnt your interest but hearing the loudest microwave beep of all-time is, then The Bagel is the spot for you.I give this bagel shanty 2 out 8 pepperoni points.

Good thing they open at 6:30 but sadly the bagels are more like small buns then bagels. All flavors are basically plain bagels with garniture on top....and I not even talking about the coffee...

The Bagel has long been one of my favorite breakfast eateries, and essential retreats after a rough night. Their selection of fresh-baked bagels and wide range of cream cheeses is unmatched. Apart from the traditional, their sandwiches are also great. If you enjoy Salmon, then I cannot recommend The New Yorker highly enough!The ONLY concern Ive ever had with the Bagel has been its staff. The woman that previously owned the Bagel came across as somewhat rude and uninterested in the satisfaction of her customers. The Bagel was recently purchased by another local, Max. With the new ownership the atmosphere in the Bagel has improved immensely, and I look forward to seeing the effects of his positive energy as time progresses.Now go get a darned bagel already!

Best bagel place in Vermont. I’m from New Jersey and if there is one thing to be proud of from there, it’s the pizza and bagels and let me tell you... never would I ever have thought that I would find an amazing bagel in the tiny town of stowe. But they exist and they exist at The Bagel. Everyone is friendly and service is fast! I have yet to be disappointed. 😁

This place is very clean and has hot tasty fresh bagels! Cozy place with tables inside and a few outside.the choice of bagels is very good and the spreads are deliscious. The only problem I find is if there is a line of people in the store, waiting can take some time because many people get lots of STUFF ON THEIR BAGELS. One suggestion would be to have one person do small orders including bagels to go. Thats called good coordination! The crew is pleasant and work hard.

Should have read the previous reviews. You would have thought the surly service would have been corrected by now. Well, it hasnt. Really off-putting and surprising. The establishment is nicely designed, but the food is ordinary and the staff is downright grouchy and unapproachable.
