Found a great deal here. We went to 4 other stores in the area. But best price was here! Location is great. They had 20% on everything and manager was able to give us even better deal on top that. Highly recommend. They also have great deals on used equipment in the end of each season!

05/12/2021. We did a 4 hour rental as all we wanted was to do the Stowe rec trail. 11:30 am very nice people. Sized us up and made sure we were comfortable with the bikes.we left our car there and off we went. Gave us helmets and we did half the trail. Stopped at Ideletime for lunch. They as well as everyone has a bike rack. After lunch continued for rest of trail. GREAT DAY.

Pinnacle Ski and Sports is among the best. The staff are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and the array of equipment and clothing is awesome. The ski tuning is excellent and well worth the purchase of a seasons pass. I highly recommend them for your sports needs.

Pinnacle saved my ski trip! Apparently I have large calf’s and no rental ski boot was fitting. I contacted pinnacle and not only were they able to get me into a boot, they were so lovely and friendly! It saved my ski weekend and I appreciate it so much! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! The BEST SKI SHOP. So helpful, so knowledgeable about the skis and equipment, such a wonderful experience. My husband and I came in 10 mins before closing to switch out a demo ski (assuming the rentals/ demos would be long closed) and they were so accommodating and efficient in switching out the ski and helping us pick it the next one to try. Cant recommend renting/ demo from here enough!!

The shop tighten my headset for no charge and have they have a great selection of clothes. Highly recommend this shop.

Fantastic customer service! From the time we walked in until when we returned our skis we received nothing but top notch service! They got the kids fitted in the correct gear and we had no issues with the boots, skis or poles. I would highly recommend these guys!

I went to Pinnacle over the course of a week to buy and test a ton of ski gear. I worked with at least 5 different employees on everything from buying a new helmet to getting boots fitted and purchasing skis. My experience with them was awesome across the board. They really know their stuff, have an awesome selection, and were patient with me as I bombarded them with 5,000 questions. Definitely one of the best retail experiences Ive had.

I highly recommend purchasing new ski equipment from Ski Essentials or Pinnacle Sports in Stowe Vermont.I don’t buy ski equipment very often but when I do I want to demo the skis first. After I tried out a pair of Rossignol 94 TI 173s that I rented from Pinnacle Sports, I decided to purchase them through their sister company Ski Essentials. I had somewhat of a convoluted proposal for the purchase of these skis because I wanted to combine three credits that I anticipated having with Pinnacle Sports that I wanted to apply to the purchase of the skis.I sent an email to Ski Essentials with my proposal regarding the credits which included an item I had yet to return. Mike at Ski Essentials made the deal incredibly easy and reminded me that there was an additional sale taking another 10% off what was already a very reasonable price of this discounted 2020 ski. Mike did not wait for me to return the item before giving me the credit. He then arranged to bring the skis up to Pinnacle Sports the next day where I was able to drop off my boot to have a binding adjustment and safety check performed at no additional charge as well as returning the item for the credit I had already received.So, whether you are in Vermont, Colorado, California or anywhere else I encourage you to shop first at Ski Essentials. There is free shipping on any orders over $49 and as far as I can tell they have the cheapest prices in the country.

Was in the market for a new pair of goggles. The staff was able to help my weigh the pros and cons of the different goggles I was interested in. Even better that they had an end of season sale and I got a great deal on my goggles!

My young daughter’s boots were giving her real trouble, and they fixed the boots quickly, expertly, kindly, and cheaply!

This place was incredibly disappointing. We were staying the SnowFlake Lodge across the street and wanted to rent some Nordic setups so my boyfriend walked over there at about 10:30am and spoke to a couple people. One guy asked for our weights, etc. and made sure that there were setups available. He told us we had to reserve online but could pick them up at about 2:00. when we went to go reserve online, the website would not allow us to book the rentals so we called and got transferred to someone in the rentals and he told us that all skis had been rented. They are not organized. Their website it not user friendly. Their staff is very scattered. We will not be going back there.

Pinnacle is the destination ski shop in Stowe. They are the first to get in next seasons gear and have a fantastic collection. Staff is the best in the business. Go see Benny to get boots and then go see Phil to get skis.

They’re happy to take your money but you’re on your own if you have an issue after the sale. Unhelpful and arrogant management, and awful lack of customer service. There are many great ski shops out there with top notch customer service and an appreciation for their customers - this isn’t one of them. No reason to shop here with so many better options available.

They take the time to make sure that boots fit properly. Variety of skis is amazing - I’m just a beginner so I wasn’t too picky with what I rented, but they have pretty much everything for every budget. Cheaper than renting at a slope for sure, and no hassles in case you want to extend your rental.

The boot shop there is the best. Its kinda separated from the ski store and closes earlier. They really know what they are doing. Heard horror stories of buying boots...they sized my feet and selected the boots that were best for the shape of my foot and style of skiing I do. Pinnacle Ski & Sports provided exceptional customer service on my recent visit to the shop. The staff in the rental shop are very knowledgeable, and fitted me very quickly and efficiently. The equipment was brand new, and very comfortable, as well as very reasonably priced. The selection of outerwear and accessories is awesome!! It is a great place to shop !!

Cant say enough good things about this place, we spoke to everyone working over two days we were there and everybody was super polite. We worked with Benny in the boot shop, and with Mike for Skis. We are new to Skiing and these guys were incredibly helpful and I left with not only some great new boots and skis, but also a genuine sense of appreciation for the products they helped us purchase. If you are in Stowe this is THE place to invest your time and money, looking forward to working with these guys again when its time to upgrade our equipment as we, hopefully, advance on the slopes.

Biased view but not the review. You just cant beat the service in the ski shop..The rental and demo service is delivered by knowledgeable staff and upstairs is a wide selection of outdoor apparel. You top this off with Benny in Inner Boot works and you get One great store.

If you are looking for probably the best ski shop in town.... you have found it. Great advice on knowledge on skis and bindings and then you have Bennie upstairs with his boot shop. Best in the State.

Randomly pulled in to ask for directions to a trail. They were so nice and helpful that we ended renting bikes from there. Also helped that the trail we were looking for ran behind the building. Highly recommend this place

Bought a set of boots, didnt like them after an hour of skiing, so I returned and got another pair. Thankful that they took them back and exchangrd for a more comfortable boot. Boot shop is good, but stear clear from Linda... rude!! First time I was in a boot shop that someone snickered and made faces to other employees when I discussed my boot issues and stance (she had no idea I saw her do this!). So much for trying to use a local expert.. luckily someone else in the shop helped me.

If you are looking for boots, this is the place to go. Matt and the rest of the guys are extremely skilled at fitting boots and they take pride in their work. Pinnacle is also a great place to get season rentals and the latest gear. They have a HUGE collection of Skida apparel which is awesome. Check online for any discounts before you go!

Awful service. They close early before Christmas and forcing you to return rented gear earlier than ski resort works. You have no chance to negotiate pro-rated price or morning return even before Christmas - the only response you can get - its holiday. On other days return deadline is on employee consideration, so you cant afford dinner or heavy traffic.

Terrible customer service experience. Spoke with Mike because the first shipment of skis that we received had the breaks sticking out of the box. We refused the shipment. In order to get the skis in time for Christmas, we had to pay for another pair of skis and $39.00 for shipping. We paid $321.00 for the first set of skis, bindings, and poles. Same amount for second shipment plus $39.00 for the shipping. When they received the returned shipment, they only credited us $264.00. Said that was the cost of the skis without the poles. Really bad experience. I would never do business with them again!

I got new skis this season and bought my bindings at pinnacle. They matched their online price on the marker griffons which saved me some big bucks! They were quick and did a great job. I also was missing a screw on my boot holding the strap on and they replaced that for me without me having to ask.

Kinda felt like I was treated like just another customer. Didnt feel important. It was only one employee in the ski rental shop. Upstairs in the retail shop I was treated very well.

We went in to get some information about a specific hiking trail. They all became dismissive as soon they realized we weren’t purchasing anything. The lady that answered us in her condescending manner that they just moved to this location 2 weeks ago, convinced us that we will not be renting bikes from them. We will take our business somewhere else.
