Three stars for the store and its staff.Minus two stars for their vinyl album collection. WAY, WAY overpriced for albums in their condition. I did receive a store credit for one Id bought, though. Bought some cool wind chimes. Worth a visit.

This is my favorite store in downtown Stuart! It is very unique and beautifully decorated on the inside. There are lots of nautical decor, and surf shop like clothes. This was already a must stop for me, but today I met the owner and he was the nicest guy. He was dressed up as Santa for the holiday season and thanking all the customers individually for coming to his store. And he was taking festive pictures with customers! All of the employees are fun and sweet. Also, they use sustainable packaging instead of plastic bags when you purchase something. Love this place!!

Love the girls that work there! The owner isn’t too cool as he was rude when we made a rather large purchase.. but whatever. I enjoy all of my purchases from his shop. They have very nice wind chimes and hammocks.

Very eclectic inventory. Every time I go into this store I find at least 5-6 shirts that I really like. High quality clothes for sure. Then you continue past the clothes and old thick vinyl records ow which there are many to choose from and into the center of the store and you go, holy cow!!! There are soooo many items to choose from to decorate your beach home. Beautiful wall porcelain hangings painted in amazing colors. There has to be a thousand different wall hangings. Mermaids, lizzards, moons, sun, frogs, tiki men, signs, and so much more. There’s so many cool items from wind chimes to hanging swing chairs, I just can’t list all that is there.The owners are very helpful and well informed of what they are selling.We make the time to visit this shop every time we visit the area. Oh and did I mention how many compliments I get back home in the shirts I find there?? ;-)

I have always had good experiences at this store. I have been many times when visiting friends in the area. However, I was treated very rudely by one of the workers today. I was walking around with some friends and we were checking out a checkerboard and walked away from it and I was then rudely confronted by a worker that I needed to clean it up even though we didn’t make a mess out of it. Everything was still together. I felt uncomfortable and decided to set down the candle I was planning on purchasing and I walked out. The same worker then ran after me as I walked out of the store and he made me walk back into the store and point out where I set it down. This caused a scene and everyone was staring at me as I showed him where the candle was. He then said to me “Well if you put things back where you got them you wouldn’t look like a thief”. I was extremely embarrassed and felt like this could’ve been handled in a more polite way. This scene caused me to check out Psychic and the Genie which is a very cute and welcoming store.

I have been shopping here for about 3 years now and have always recommended this store to my friends until today. My two friends and I came by to do some Christmas shopping and decided to pop in to look around. One of my friends found a candle she really liked and wanted to get it and walked around the store with it as we were still looking at everything. We stopped briefly to check out a checkerboard in the back as we were walking around and the guy working went up to my friend and rudely told her that she needed to go put the checker pieces back the way they were. After she moved the few pieces back onto the board she was uncomfortable with the way he spoke to her and just wanted to leave so she decided to put the candle back onto a shelf. As we were about to walk out the door the man came running up to us and really loudly said to my friend, Hey! Wheres that candle you were going to buy huh? It created a huge scene and everyone in the store was now staring at us. Already upset she walked all the way back to where she had set the candle down just to show him and he had the nerve to say Well if you didnt just set things back down you wouldnt look like a thief. My friend left mortified that she had been accused of stealing and was actually shaking when we left the shop. Im not sure if it was our appearance or age but Ive never been treated like this before at the shop and I was pretty mind blown. I really loved this store and always stop by every time Im in down town but now I dont know if Ill be recommending it to anyone or even going myself. Seeing my friend so upset from the way she was treated really turned me off from this store. If you want cute hippy style clothes or trinkets while also receiving proper customer service just go to Psychic and the Genie one street over.

Don’t bring ice cream inside. Or else.

The tag line of Earth Tones is get in touch with your inner hippie. Earth Tones has combined a beach store, with new age, with a Buddhist theme, with a nice selection of garden pots and statues. I also buy all my incense here that I burn for homage to Buddha. In terms of jewelry I have enclosed a picture of what they carry. I have enclosed a picture of planters that I bought: the Mexican painted pots in the picture.It is locally owned. Shop here and support our downtown which is delightful.
