Love the good ole fashion food. The service is always awesome and polite. Ive never had a bad experience with them. The waitresses are always kind, keep your drinks filled and the place and is always clean!

On this past Friday, I had the pleasure of experiencing the “Best Burger the World”, according to a young friend I was blessed to find time with. I truly had been looking forward for days, and he did not lie. I must though commend what made the “Experience” even more special. The effort, time, attention to detail, and making sure I was able to what I did because of the Service I Received. That waitress wore the long day she was having on her back, but she you couldn’t see it in her smile. I wanted to compliment her by name, but she didn’t have a name tag though. I asked but, couldn’t locate supervisor before I had to go, so I left every dollar I could find for her tip. If a manager should get this review, she had an olive green T-Shirt, her brown hair was pulled up, a refreshing smile, and is awesome at what she does. She got you a first timer that’s now going to make it a point to be a regular. This was Friday and I was there between 1:00-2:00pm, and sat on the left section of restaurant, the first table, in the corner side by the door. That’s how great my experience was. It’s great to find a local option, that’s better than the fast food everywhere else. Had the chicken pot pie and it was good. Atmosphere was friendly as always. They were busy as usual with the 12 oclock lunch crowd but service was still good. Only thing I wish is they would accept debit/credit cards...I hardly ever have cash!

I write this with a light heart and a full stomach. Guignard (Gu-WIN-nard) Diner shows why Sumpter folk have such pride in their town. The servers knew folks by name and had their orders scribbled down and a coffee poured hot before the guests had even settled into their chairs. If youre passing through, ask about the towns baseball history and check out the museum worthy memorabilia hanging on the walls inside.Keep this place bookmarked the next time you want to grab an easy meal and a full side of great gossip.

This is a great meat and 3 country cooking home cooked kinda place and the food is awesome here and you can tell that this is real southern down home country cooking and they feature homemade traditional southern cakes which will beat any bakery cake out there!

Parking lot full so we had to stop. Server friendly & efficient. Fried chicken the #1 lunch item. I had the chicken & dumplins which were delish. Hubby had the meatloaf with gravy. Better than Cracker Barrel. Since Im on a diet I just wish they had healthier options but I made do with veggie sides.Guignards has been in business for 21 years.

The diner a small but their food and the prices are better than most of these fast food places and their eggs are good and that coffee tastes really really great I get to meet some nice people there including Bobby Richardson former Yankee Hall of Famer whose very nice to the public its a great place for meeting people and dining to I give it five stars

Ordered hashbrowns, extra crunchy- got the softest, mushiest hashbrowns. The omlette was undercooked to say the least. There were raw spots. Needless to say, I wasted my money. 👎🏼👎🏽👎🏼

Food was great. Heavy-set flowing -blond haired waitress service not so much. After finally taking my order and bringing it out, she never returned. She worked on take out orders the whole time. I wasnt aware takeout people even tip ??? Fortunately another waitress noticed me and helped.

Guignard Diner is a cozy place to go and eat a variety of comfort foods at an inexpensive price. The staff is very friendly and service is always on point. Its a great restaurant for breakfast or lunch. You can even get vegetarian plates, which is a big plus for me. Unfortunately, they do not stay open for dinner...as they close around 3pm, but I would still recommend Guignard Diner to anyone.

Outrageous price for almost food ready to throw in the trash. People, staff, can be as nice as possible but how can they have any integrity knowing the food is not worth serving.

I’m sorry to say this but I was disappointed in the taste and serving size. I actually thought they left out the turkey! It looked like only a gravy over dressing. For quality taste and serving size, it’s hard to beat the hot bar at any Piggly-Wiggly!

Called to verify if the breading on pork chops contained dairy because son is allergic. Gentleman who answered the phone said he was pretty sure. I asked him if he could verify and he said I am slammed right now and dont have timeWell if taking a 20 seconds out of your day to verify your food wont kill my son is too much to ask I have no need to ever give you my business.

Went just before lunch. We were not happy with their meals. The chicken sandwich was overcooked and dried out. And the burger was pretty much the same way. The diner is packed at lunch time. I think they would do a much better food at lunch because of the number of people that go there everyday. so try the lunch!

Everything reminded me of stuff you would get served by lunch ladies in grade school.They are cash only so do not go their if you do not carry cash.Atmosphere was that of a retirement home dinning facility I have no idea how they got on the referred list on trip adviser. I got the pork chops with mashed potatoes, green beabs, and cabbage. The food was excellent. We got there before the lunch rush so it took very little time to get our food. It gets crowded around 11:30.

Called in an order for a BLT the other morning on my way to work. Delicious and as a picky eater I didnt have to sort through my bacon because it was already chopped up for me. The lady who helped me was really sweet. We will be going there to eat as a family.

Chicken sandwich was over cooked. We were there just b4 lunch. Lunch is always crowded so that food must be better.
