Honda motorcycles of Sumter is a horrible dealership. We bought a used gold wing from them. The price was high, but we were willing to pay more to buy from what we thought was an honest dealership. But when we picked up the cycle, it was dirty and nothing had been done that we were promised. The purchase was supposed to include 3 helmets that we never got. We asked for a service history on the bike, as we were told the bike was only serviced at that location. We never got it. Now they won’t return our phone calls. This is a dishonest dealership. Stay away!

I love this place. They do good work for a reasonable price. I have come to feel like family in there. Chris in sales, Aaron in parts, Steven and the other technicians are all very friendly and professional. Id recommend them to anyone for their Motorcycle or ATV needs.

Rear tire went on Honda Goldwing gl1800 while traveling to Fl contacted service and the owner drove 41 miles to pick us up off the side of the road and drove us back to the shop while at the shop everyone was so nice and the customer service was above and beyond while we waited .... what business do u know sends out the owner to pick u up ???Definitely 5 or more stars !!!!!!Got us back on the road within the hr ....

Good people, good service

Wish I could give them zero stars. After having my 4 wheeler for THREE months to clean the carbs and fix an oil leak.I finally get it back and it starts leaking oil all over my brand new concrete. I call them and some lady who works in the service department tells me they never worked on anything with the oil. I tell her what my receipt says they did and she sounds more annoyed and says I need to talk to the service department manager who of course wouldnt be in until two days later. I take it all the way back down there (a hour away for me) for them to tell me it was just excess oil around the pan. Fast forward to today and though I havent driven the 4 wheeler once since having it replaced it has leaked a quarter of oil all over my concrete again. I will NEVER bring anything i own to them again. Terrible service

Aaron and Stacy are the best! Ive been patroning this place since I was a teenager and its always been a great place. Every dirt bike and 4 wheeler I have or ever have had has been Honda and they always have the parts or can order them in no time. They recently rebuilt my sons carburetor and I just put it on today and it purrs like a kitten. That bike has never run right (bought it used) until today! Allen and the rest of the service guys do a great job! A++

My Nephew and I went into this business today as potential buyers but once we enter the business no one even acknowledged us. I guess because we are black they thought we didn’t have money so they didn’t even want to be bothered with us. Never judge a book by it’s cover. I WILL NEVER Step foot back in there again. I will take my hard earned money to a business that will at least acknowledge me.

Kindest and will do anything to satisfy a customer. They are very humble and have very good and fair prices. They worked on my 4 wheeler for free when they made an error and looked at the 4 wheeler for free when they thought they had something to do with it not operating correctly. Which it wasnt their mistake. Highly recommend HOS!

Dropped off my 1990 Goldwing for service, and the guys seemed to understand the problems even though I have so little experience with the bike that I could hardly explain it. Ill let you know how the actual service goes

Service department gets 5 stars as I have been going there for a few years and have never had an issue, they have made every accommodation. The sales department, however, is what earns them the 3 stars. They just dont seem to be motivated to sell.

Call them from time to time for parts and information on repairing my 85 rebel. Very kind people, they go the extra mile to help me get the information I need to rebuild my bike. The parts department in particular do a fantastic job.

(May 2010) The Sales Manager Chris and ALL of the staff were the best!! We had an excellent and rewarding experience with any dealership ever! There was a couple all the way from Las Vegas that needed emergency repairs and had been to a few other dealerships before they got assistance from Sumter. They worked on their bike right away and got them happily back on the road to DC asap for the Thunder Rolls Memorial Day ride! We had two options of dealers to work with that had the same 2010 Honda Sabre we were looking at. Both dealerships were 2 ½ hours travel time away. One of the dealers was Honda of Winston-Salem in NC and the other was Honda of Sumter in SC. The Winston-Salem dealer had a special low price, but after reading their Google reviews, we were a little concerned about doing business with them. We wanted a walkout price just a little cheaper, so we called both places to see what each dealer was willing to work on with us. Chris at Sumter knew his business!! Honda had special incentives and loans that Chris applied on the phone price. Not only did he tell how he was able to give us the price we wanted through Honda’s existing sales program, he also informed us that we would get an additional $600 in flexible bonus bucks for accessories. I called Honda of Winston and had such an unbelievably horrible phone call experience with their Sales Manager, that between both the good and bad experiences we were inspired to write reviews for both dealerships. There were no hussles at Sumter, Chris was true to his word. He let us loose with his parts manager, Anthony who spent hours with us on our flexible bonus purchases. It was like Christmas! We got a removable windshield & brackets, saddlebags & brackets, and a theft alarm. Since we were getting the bike with them, they also gave us a screaming deal on two Bluetooth enabled helmets; which we were in the market for as well. Their pricing is competitive with online suppliers for parts and accessories. He discussed future changes, options and pricing with Anthony; which again were competitive. The time they spent with us and their service has paid off with our dedication to this dealership. Based on our experiences, would we ever recommend Honda of Winston? Heck no!! Will we be driving 2 ½ hours for parts and service with Honda of Sumter, when we have a dealer 2 miles down the road? Heck ya! Thanks, Honda of Sumter! Your devoted new customers!
