I visited this dealer for the third time on Nov 29, 2020. I went there because they had a car that interested me on one of the online car web sites. The pics were great. Beautiful 2007 Buick Lacrosse. When I got there, the salesman took me out to the car, and then I saw the significant dent on the hood right above the hood latch....not a ding, a DENT. Then at the rear, another significant dent on the trunk lid. Im sure they tried to include pics of the dents, and the car web site just lost them, right? Surely they did not purposely omit pics of the dents? The valued my cherry, low-mileage trade in at less than half of its book value. Then their first offer included a $1,300+ fee for get-ready. Translation....wash, vacuum, spray Armor-all on the tires and engine. Then they claimed the $500 doc fee was non-negotiable and set by law, like the tax/title/license. Right. Document fees vary widely and are totally negotiable, which the salesman finally admitted. On a previous visit a few yrs ago, I accompanied a friend who wanted help buying a car there. She saw an advertised price for a new car. She called and verified the car was there and he would give her the deal. Went there, test drove it. Color she didnt like, but she accpeted it and stated she would buy it anyway. This was the only car there they would sell at that price (loss-leader). Then they balked and refused to honor the deal even after she saw it advertised at that price and she called ahead and verified she could get that deal. Purely bait-and-switch. So we drove to a Buick dealer in Scottsdale and in a couple hrs had a better eqipped car of the same model and a color she liked, and they didnt low ball her trade-in like Liberty did. The deal was thousands better and didnt have to take the loss-leader. Other time, I accompanied a woman who saw a used Toyota they were advertising. They justified their low ball tradein offer by showing us a Kelly Blue Book report where they had inserted a false mileage value of 150,000 miles, when the car had about 45,000 actual miles on it to make the KBB value lower than it should have been In my opinion, Liberty Buick has shown me repeatedly to be the worst of the worst among all the car dealers I have ever dealt with personally, and that is saying something, Bottom of the rotten apple barrel.
